My complaint is about their online ordering, we have placed our orders online the past 3 times and all three times we had issues with our orders. We pretty much order the same thing every time and it seems like it's always same items missing on our orders. If that feels overwhelming, you can pick from their menu of perfectly curated pizzas, including seasonal options. (Salads too) I opted to make my own pizza, and was able to load it up with as many options as I wanted - that means ALL the meats, cheeses, veggies, sauces, and herbs that I could think of. I think I added about 3 or 4 different kind of meats and maybe double that in veggies. We were in the area and we decided to try this place out. They have the same concept as Your Pie. You chose the size of your pie crust and then pick which sauce and cheese you want and then pick from a variety of toppings without adding any additional charges. Afterwards, they cook the pizza in their brick oven and call you when it's ready (Your Pie gives you a number and brings it to you and they also have their delicious gelato). This was our first time ever trying this chain. Our experience in this location was just awful. At least the food was good but the people working there seemed disorganized. We ordered our pizzas and waited for a long time and then finally when it was ready, they gave one of them to someone else. Then, they tried to fix the situation by making another one but instead of bringing it out quickly it took longer than expected and it was made wrong. Again, they had to remake it. You would think they would try to get this order out first...wrong....it took forever. We took there an 1 hour and 20 min there for a fast food place. They cleared out two rush hour traffic while we were there so you get an idea how long this whole ordeal took. With the pandemic they have even adjusted to do curbside and I can order from the app, which for a single mom of a wild toddler who I refuse to take out at the end of a long day, that makes all the difference in the world. I've been to this location a handful of times and each time it's worse. They've skimped on toppings each time, and most of the time under-bake the crust so the pizza is soggy in the middle. Last night was the worst. The place was absolutely filthy, with no plates, Parmesan or napkins to be found. Trash was spilling out of the trash can all over the floor and surrounding areas, and all of the tables were dirty. Add to that, the staff was rude, and once again, the pizza barely had any toppings. It had what looked like a teaspoon of sauce, 5 pepperonis and a 1/4 cup of cheese. I've given this location many chances because they are close, but at this point won't be back. My husband let them know and...they gave us ANOTHER mini? So we ended up with two minis and one mod. We said whatever and just took it. I give it 2 stars because I love mod pizza at the other locations. With that being said, this location was gross with a capital G. I asked for red sauce and a little bit of garlic. It was drowned in garlic. I asked for extra crispy. It was soft and doughy. The place was chaotic. Nobody was running things. No manager in site. I really think they should have had a soft opening. It was slightly embarrassing and I came when business was slow. The good news is....This place just opened and I think things will improve? First of all, the pizza is decent. Our family of 3 had lunch here on a Friday afternoon and the pizza was good. We also ordered a Greek salad and it was ok except that the lettuce was brown on the edges, so it had been hanging around awhile. The staff though...boy is that a miserable bunch! The first guy that takes your order acts like he's really doing you a favor by accommodating your request for food. Everyone else follows suit with their outstanding personalities behind the counter. We spent $50 on lunch, so a person would almost expect that there would be a minuscule amount of appreciation for patronizing their establishment, but NOPE! As another customer review stated, the tables are all in need of a good scrape, as they are STILL sticky from a year ago. Might take my belt sander in there with me next time because obviously the kitchen folk are too busy checking their phones (possibly making appointments for their horrible attitudes with their therapist) to walk out to the dining room to actually clean them. Went for the first time this morning. The staff was amazing! Super nice and informative. Our pizzas got a little overdone and they made us new ones. All the toppings were delicious. So yummy. Today when visiting for lunch it was pretty busy which is typical for a Saturday. Mod had many great employees working hard, I was even happy to see an employee whom one could recognize has a mental disability behind the counter but I was shocked by the way the staff was treating the young man. When asking for guidance as to how he could help I observed a couple employees passively ignore him and/or impatiently snap at him loudly in front of customers. Now I understand how hectic a lunch rush is with experience in the restaurant industry and patience is definitely a virtue in such a situation, but I believe any other customer in there with me would have rather waited an extra minute or so for an employee to take the time to redirect this young man than to watch the staff lash out towards him. I write this review from experience as I've grown up with two disabled parents, I understand the patience one must have in assisting another human being but to see anyone treated any lesser than someone is something that should strike us all. Wow did we make a good call by listening. We didn't know what to expect but when the gentleman mentioned "you can add whatever you want to it" my eyes lit up. It's like a chipotle but for pizza. Great pizza, but lousy service. I opted for the online ordering for simplicity. Pickup time at 6:15. I get there at 6:17- a rude African American girl behind the counter tries assisting. I tell her I had an online order. "Well, you must have accidentally ordered it to the wrong location because we don't have anything" she says. I insist that I had the correct location as I am staring at the confirmation on my phone. She asks the cashier. The cashier goes to the mobile order system and prints out my order. No apology from either of them. No updated info that I now had to wait another 20 minutes for the order to be pricessed. Nothing but rudeness. As I write this I'm sitting in my car still waiting. Ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza on line. When I picked it up only 2/3 of it had topping and there was no sausage. I pointed this out and the employee pointed and said "here's a piece". Sorry, but I didn't pay for one piece of sausage. They offered to make a new pizza which I took, but that one wasn't much better.
