Located off of frontage road, this location is in a safe section of town and relatively easy to get in and out of (I-35 becomes this issue, but IYKYK). The place is low key and with a somber vibe. I've never seen a long line rather when there are a few people it moves quickly, although I've watched challenging customers try to irritate them. I have visited the shop several times; right as they opened at 11am on Mon as well as mid-day on the weekend and it was always very clean; inside and out along with the assembly line. As a note, the people that served me were extremely nice and always smiling. They made the experience very pleasant. Next the gentleman making my burrito was fast and willing to barter with me (I didn't get beans so I got extra rice - no charge). He loaded me up on the chicken which I very much appreciated. Checking out was quick but I'll admit I didn't get a soft drink but the area looked well stocked at opening and clean. As for the flavors, I got two orders of the guac and chips. The guac was a bit heavy on the lime and yes a little light on the onion while it was chunky. True guac is more like a salad with tomatoes which is what I prefer and how I make it, but overall, I think Chipotle does a good job as most would probably love it. The chips were crispy with a touch of lime and salt. Perfect as always. As for the burrito, this one was finally big again, compared to out of state versions. The tortilla was warm, plenty of juicy chicken, fresh pico, perfectly cooked cilantro lime rice, cool sour cream, shredded cheese and you get the point. I had them make it how I like it and it turned out perfect b/c it was fresh and the chicken wasn't over cooked. Besides the rush hour I-35 traffic which isn't really their fault, Chipotle did me right and the unsung heroes were the staff that were really nice. Again, I wasn't there when it was busy, giving the protentional to be dirty and the staff to be in the "weeds" (sorry former chef talk) so I can only say it was a good experience and I have nothing negative to say. To "wrap up" (see what I did there?) this restaurant will give you big burritos of fresh food and if you're like me at 180 lb man, a burrito that lasted for 2 lunches. I went into the Chipotle at South Park Meadows this morning to grab a burrito. They were already off to a bad start, the doors opened 15 minutes late, and by then a small group of us had been standing outside waiting. When I finally got in and started ordering, I noticed they were already out of cheese. How does that even happen first thing in the morning? I worked at Chipotle in high school, and cheese is one of the easiest things to prep. I'd understand if it was something like guac, but grating cheese? It would've taken someone 3 minutes to get what I requested. (If that) I ordered a half barbacoa / half chicken burrito anyway, and the total rang up to $17. I mentioned the price to the clerk, and he nonchalantly said, "Yeah, that's it." Before I could even ask for a receipt, he tossed it straight into the trash. When I got home and did the math, I realized I had been completely overcharged. At that price point, I might as well have gotten double barbacoa. I've had bad experiences at this location before, but this was my final straw. I'll drive to the one in Kyle before I come back here again. TLDR: $17 for disappointment wrapped in foil. read more

We came into this Chipotle because my daughter was craving it. When we went in I saw the sign for the chipotle honey chicken and decided I wanted to try it. Sadly I was informed that it was a seasonal item but it was still on the board, but I was just on the site and you can in fact order it. Was it a seasonal item after all? I can't answer that because I wasn't able to get it. I then went to my ole faithful and got a veggie bowl, while my daughter got a steak bowl. She was in front of me and when she got to the cheese section, she asked the worker did they have more cheese and she was told they were out of cheese? My daughter then told them that she was down with her bowl. But how are you out of cheese and it was only 7P? I asked the worker if I could get the remainder of cheese that was in the tray for my bowl. 1 veggie bowl & 1 steak bowl both with queso cost me about $26 and I was shocked about that. When we went to get silverware all the plastic utensils were were from the drink dispensers, so my daughter asked if there were any forks not wet and they told her they were out of forks. I ask again how are you out of utensils at 7P? I told her we had silverware at home and proceeded to head home. While eating at home I questioned if her rice tasted weird and we came to the conclusion that it was not cooked all the way. The store didn't look that clean and the worker behind the counter making the bowls was chewing gum, just saying what if the gum fell in the food? All the silverware didn't match the stickers but they were wet so why would I want it. I don't think I will be back to a chipotle in general due to it always being something. read more

We ate here about a week or so ago and very much enjoyed it. We could walk up to the counter and order with a minimal wait, which was nice. And the food was delicious! Guy was kinda struggling to roll my burrito due to the fact it had (if I had to guess) close to a full cup of sour cream in it. I hate complaining or "sending food back", however in this case I felt obligated to say something because it genuinely looked like they were trying to wrap sour cream SOUP in a tortilla. The guy at the cashier seemed pretty appalled by my request and the guy that had to remake it refused to make eye contact with me and blatantly ignored him when I apologized once again saying it was just too much sour cream, and thanked him when he was done. Customer service is awful in this location. I've been here many times where they leave the food Out in the cold. They like to close the store early meaning they would rather run out of what they have instead of keeping the food fresh. Tonight I came in there were at least 20 people waiting on to go orders. I get in line people in front of me are waiting on meat to cook.
