I visited Panda Express for dinner because I played wok Wednesday game on their app and got a reward for a $7 plate that includes 2 entrees and a side. I was able to place the order on the app and redeem my offer. This time I selected the beef with broccoli and the honey walnut shrimp for my entrees with a side of fried rice The food was ready when I went inside the restaurant to pick it up. They have a separate Pick up line for Togo orders and I was approached and acknowledged quickly and my order was packed nicely and was warm when I got home. They did forget to add my condiments including the sweet and sour and soy sauces unfortunately but I just seasoned with a little bit of salt and pepper when I got home. The beef with broccoli was not as flavorful as I had hoped. The beef did not have a lot of flavor but the broccoli was cooked perfectly where it was still crunchy. The crispy honey shrimp on the other hand was surprisingly delicious. The shrimp was prepared with a crispy texture and is not overcooked and it has a crunchy texture from the walnuts and the honey sauce creates the perfect sweet and savory flavor profile. I ordered the fried rice for my side which had carrots, peas and egg. It was very tasty and went well with the entrees. I also like the mushroom chicken as an entree but usually the two entree plate is plenty of food. Overall a smooth and problem free online ordering experience. I love the games and coupons from the app and decent fast food Asian cuisine. There is an up charge for this particular dish that bumped the price point over the $7 coupon amount. read more

My wife and I survive on one SSDI check between the two of us so we don't get takeout but once a month. This month, when the direct deposit hit, my wife asked me to bring home Panda Express. I was fine with mine, but she was really disappointed, very full of buyer's remorse, thinking she just would give up on Chinese food altogether because Panda Express has become our Old Faithful as it seems like whenever we try a new place, we definitely don't have NO REGERTS lol. She was upset enough she picked up the phone to ask if they were having a bad night or something. Glenda, the manager, took the call, and she was so nice and immediately agreed to replace our order. I told her I didn't need them to make mine right, just my wife's if that was possible. She says anytime, just tell her our name, bring in the receipt, and tell her Glenda sent us. So yesterday my wife picked up her complimentary replacement meal. It really was very good--totally how I remember a Panda Express splurge not coming with buyer's regret. That's how I came to feel it was easier and safer to just go with Panda Express than gamble on random new Chinese places that are more often misses than hits. This time she got fried rice mostly with a third of it chow mein so she could give it another try. She was glad she did, because it was like night and day from what they had the other night. They really must have been having a bad night. And the fried rice was terrific, too, for plain fried rice that accompanies your meal. She got all chicken things this time as the beef dish (Beijing Beef) she chose the night things was another sub par component of her meal (super heavy, drowning in sauce and cornstarch, less than fresh). She did notice it looked, again, like a whole different animal (excuse the expression) from that which was part of her dinner earlier this week--it looked scrumptious, just like she always remembered it. The chicken teriyaki, honey chicken with green beans, and original orange chicken were all fantastic, truly as good as I can ever recall getting from any Panda Express ever. The spring roll was totally passable. No complaints at all--delighted, in fact. Glenda is a great manager...she took the appropriate action to prevent us from being soured on Panda Express forever when deciding what establishment to patronize for our monthly "treat yoself" indulgence. We definitely will be back. At first I was annoyed by my wife being a Karen and calling to complain because it was less than good, but Glenda stepping up to fix the schism was perfect for it allowed us to have our opinion of Panda Express 100 percent restored. We will happily be back for lunch much sooner than the length of time that passed between the two times before this last time. Thank you so much, Glenda. Happy wife, happy life. read more

I was making a long drive home in rush-hour, and I decided to stop by an old favorite for dinner. Even though I hadn't been to this location, I was looking forward to having a good meal. I walked in the restaurant, is extremely clean, and the staff courteously took my order which consisted of the special beef, Kung Pao chicken, fried rice and an egg roll and I wasn't disappointed, Every item was fresh, hot, and I left the restaurant satisfied. A friend and I came to this location and were served a plate and a bowl. Both the plate and the bowl contained the less amount of food normally served. However, the bowl was half full, we called and asked for the manager and were told that they had NO manager on duty (I've worked in fast food and this is unheard of). So we spoke with Nielly, she informed us that if we came back she would help us out, she said they ran out of the items that were in the bowl and offered us other options, which is totally okay. I then asked for my choice of entre and was given the smallest possible serving that did not even fill my bowl as normal. They don't prepare anything or even look at your order until you arrive in all my experiences thus far. Have a lot of time or pick another location. There hasn't been much wrong with the food quality here. They just cannot adequately serve their customer base. (There is no good waiting area and they do not bring your food to your car. They stand outside and shout. They will take your order back inside if you don't hound the door in a rude, impatient manner.) read more
