I requested a traditional handoff delivery since it has been very cold outside. The food was left on the ground in 28 degree weather (I checked with Alexa when I found the pizza) and there was no knock at the windowed door, so I have no idea how long it had been out there. I ordered a marinara cup and received a ranch cup, which is not the end of the world, but I don't like ranch with my pizza. Lastly (and the most petty), one of the pizzas was unsliced. I've rarely reviewed a fast food place but I feel it is time for one for this location. This is the closest Dominoes to our house so where we order from periodically. Obviously, it's all a matter of taste/preference. But of the delivery places, I think Dominoes is currently tops. Mind you, until recently, I hadn't had Dominoes in many years. I had other delivery pizza and they were just ok. Honestly, my wife and I preferred to just have frozen pizza from the store and just add ingredients. After moving, we ordered from Dominoes and we haven't looked back. We are both in love. I order the same pie each time. Large. Hand tossed (comes with garlic butter on the crust). Cheddar cheese, onions, extra pepperoni, extra bacon, extra jalapeños, pineapple, black olives, garlic parmesan, extra cheese. Yummy. Super yummy. My son gets a small cheese pizza with pepperoni. One of his favorites. And he is beyond picky. Like WAY beyond picky. So we love it. Their tomato sauce is also really good but we all prefer the garlic parmesan. Hard to beat. read more

I'm not a big pizza person. My 3.5 year old son loves Domino's. I have to say this location is extremely efficient and well run......even during the Covid 19. They never screw up our order and it always comes hot. We usually order and pick it up. Right now they have two red seats outside. You pull up and call the number and they will wave and put your pizza on the chair. One honorable note-I actually hate pizza. I never ate or even liked it as a kid. I actually like and don't mind the cheese, tomato sauce, pineapple one that my 3 year old son likes. The dough is super tasty. It doesn't taste like any other brand out there....just there's. As well, it reheats as if it was fresh out of the oven. That's why we order larges. We usually reheat in the oven on 375 degrees for 5 mins. All in all, this location never lets us down, great food, no wrong orders ever, cleanliness (their boxes are not greasy), extra sauces. Everything is always perfect and ON TIME as well. Ordered pizzas for delivery.... waited 2 hours, no pizza. Yea, I like their pizza and I've been a loyal customer of this particular store for 35 years, but tonight the staff working there showed that they do not care about customer service what-do-ever. Called to ask what happened, asked to speak with a manager, but all I got was Alan. No apology. Just him telling me that their delivery quote of 45 minutes was just an estimate. I could see waiting an hour, maybe even an hour and 15, but you have to tell people that when they order, you have to be honest. You can't expect people to wait 2 hours. That's ridiculous. I asked to speak with the manager, who I was told is Alex tonight, Alan put me on hold, Alex never answered my call. They don't care at all over there, not at all. I want to give 4 stars because this location - unlike my Magnolia one - has GREEN olives as a topping! But I give 3 because I HATE that garlic margarine yuckness they slap all over the crust. If I wanted all of that I would ask for the liquid oil stuff they call a dipping sauce. I just want bread thanks! The drivers are always prompt and polite. It's always one thing or another with this location. As of the last time I ordered (This past Saturday Oct 16 2021), the pizza was so dry you could barely eat even 1 slice. It's like they forgot to put the sauce or barely put any. They also didn't put that much cheese although I ordered extra cheese as one of the toppings. Even when I first opened the box, the pizza looked like it was off. Like all you could see were the few toppings and the dough. Also ordered wings and I have to say I was disapointed with those as well. They were really small. It's like they go out of their way to choose the smallest ones. Can't say enough here about how awful our pizzas were from this location. We got two basic medium pizzas delivered and when we pulled pieces out from BOTH pizzas, they were both doughy and not cooked all the way through in the center. Called to have them redone and the manager I spoke to said ok sorry we'll expedite new ones and have them delivered to you but it might take up to an hour because we are busy but you can keep the old ones to have until these new ones get there. Here's the impression that our Domino's has left upon me since we started ordering from this particular location 2 years ago: General happiness and satisfaction. I just started a thread where people could share great deals and specials and the whole thing was inspired by a current deal (expires on the 19th) of 50% off each pizza you order online. I got some guff - as Austinites are wont to snub chains and fast food as per the Oath of Snobbery we all have to take when we've been here at least 3 years - for ordering chain delivery pizza instead of some elevated, truffle oil drizzled handmade local pie. And it got me defiantly thinking: Why not give Domino's the praise they're due? So, here's the thing that makes me love Domino's: My last order of a 1 large, three topping and 1 small 2 topping came out to $13.00 with that online deal. They run specials like this all the time. And every day, you can order medium, 1 toppings for $5.99 each. So - they're wallet friendly. Second - ever since the company relaunched themselves and leaned hard on the campaign of "You said we suck - we listened - we're going to get better. Way better" - they truly did improve leaps and bounds. I like the new crust, I like their sauce, I love their online ordering system. Their online ordering system is perfect when you set up your profile. I log in, I can hit re-order and it just repeats the last thing I ordered, then the graphics "act out" what process your order is in and when it's out for delivery. You even know the name of your drive and your pizza cook right there on the screen - which allows you to complain or praise where due. I like that. Finally, I've never had to wait more that 45 minutes for my deliver, and usually get it way faster than that AND I have never had a driver who was anything but chipper, polite, prompt and pleasant. Seriously, if I just want to sit in my sweatpants on the couch and shovel delicious pizza into my mouth, I order from Domino's. And I'm a little freaked out, too, at how much thought I put into this. Not sure what came over us, but we decided on ordering takeout pizza. Online ordering was easy & efficient. Delivery super fast.. Hence the 2 stars. But the Quality of the pizza & specialty sub, ugh, for lack of a better word, disgusting. We were ravenous, and the mushroom & spinach was overcooked, stale & tasted worse than grocery store pizza. A simple thin crust 2-topper went wrong. The ingredients didn't taste fresh, and most of all, it was just vile. The rest unfortunately, went into the garbage. Yeah wasted calories, time & a huge lesson. You pay for the delivery & of course a generous tip, expecting decent pizza. Oh well, lesson learned... I could NOT PARK in curbside because employee delivery vehicle was huge (Suburban truck-Gas guzzler) took too much parking space and then we had ordered a bowl pasta and got a foil container in which Pasta was COLD and the manager would NOT change it. What makes them awesome: - delivery is scary fast, so the food is super-hot and fresh - the delivery driver is always (every single time) polite, friendly, and smiling - pizza, sandwiches, and wings are consistently great - if you place an order that seems odd to them (pizza with no cheese) they will actually phone you to verify your order instead of guessing (awesomeness!) - and they have these nasty, little, single-serving lava cakes that I am so completely addicted to...we order extra because they are so yummy hot and still yummy cold the next day (though I would never admit to anyone that I consume such things) - if you pay in cash they will automatically apply coupons for you (that you didn't take the time to do online) so your bill is about 1/2 what you are expecting when they arrive. I give this Dominos high marks. This is my go to for chain pizza. The pizza is good. The service in house or delivery is good. The online app makes it very easy to order, and always coupons. I really like dominoes because they have pretty good pizza and you can order a large 3 topping pizza for $8 if you choose to go pick it up. It is also pretty fast usually unless you go during busy hours. I've never had pizza delivered from here so I can't say much about that.
