My friends and I tried this pizza food truck while in town. I will say it did take 30 minutes for us to get our food but the worker did tell us that prior to ordering. I got the Carnivore pizza without baking. The pizza is made to order and deep dish. As a pizza lover, this pizza was a 10/10. It was cheesy and full of flavor and each bite had a piece of meat. I absolutely loved it and will be trying again.

You may have heard from others that "Via 313" is pretty good for pizza. Or maybe it's just popular. Perhaps that's the case for their actual restaurant locations. This location, on Rainey Street, is nothing of the sort. Let's see. If you weren't expecting it, this place is a food truck, located next to the Lustre Pearl. What this means is you look at the menu posted on the side of their truck, then place your order through the small window. They will ask you for your phone number so that they can text you when it is ready for pickup. The staff at the location seem to not wish to interact with you--symbolized by the quick closing of the ordering window. Or maybe it's to keep the mosquitoes away. Anyways, you'll be left standing on Lustre Pearl's front porch. If you planned to sit rather than take away, then you'll be searching for a place to sit at the Lustre Pearl. You can sit inside, outside, upstairs, in the front, in the back, on the ground, or maybe just stand around. If you did want to wash your hands, Lustre Pearl's sinks can be found on the left side of the building. Oh yeah, and they have booze and free water inside. But back to Via 313. Pick up your food when it's ready. They'll provide some napkins, and packs of pepper flakes. If you ordered the Cadillac, then I'm sorry for you, unless you like tasteless cheese. Ok, the prosciutto adds some saltiness, but that's it. The balsamic on top adds some sweetness. The hot pepper packets make it more palatable. But it's not really worth finishing unless you like tasteless cheese, even when the pizza itself is small. This particular pizza is high cost, low flavor, low satisfaction.

We got the Cadillac ($18 for 4 slices) and the rocket ($18 for 4 slices). I think this place is overpriced. You get 4 small pieces of prosciutto in the Cadillac. The flavors are good and the pizza crust is oily/flavorful. The rocket sauce had a little spice! This restaurant is connected to a bar that you need to walk through to get to the inside dining. There is a take out window as well.

To be honest I wasn't impressed. The customer service was exceptional but the pizza was very mediocre. I really liked the edges of the pizza but that was about it. Maybe I should have added more pepperoni because I couldn't taste any. And the sauce on top lacked flavor in my opinion. Sorry Via313

Gluten free and dairy free cheese pepperoni pizza (Detroit style).

Very casual spot. It's literally just a food truck, so be prepared to wait a bit if there is a long line. I appreciate the gluten free and dairy free options and choice of thin or thick crust, but there are better pizza options in the Austin area.

Eh, this place is alright. The food comes out quick and staff are pleasant. I was rather bummed out with the taste when you compared it to the other Via 313 locations. . It came out piping hot and it was very satisfying to see the gooey cheese. It was when you bit into it, you tasted disappointment. The flavor just wasn't there and it seemed more greasy than usual.

A couple of friends and i wandered here fiending for pizza and we were glad we did. The pizza are a good size, enough for one person with a few leftovers possible. It is a chill place that offers a full bar and numerous pizza toppings, wings etc. i can guilt free say i crushed my pizza and licked my fingers after. Definitely give this place a try.

I went to try Via 313 from a recommendation and I'm glad we tried it out. Really tasty Detroit style pizza, made fresh from their food truck when ordered. The crust was flavorful and the toppings were on point. Not overloaded, but just right. The food truck is in the outdoor patio space of a bar, I forgot the name of the bar, but there is a fence, so it might be easy to miss the food truck. The bar is a perfect place to grab a drink and hang out while you're waiting on your order.

Just stopped by their Oakhurst location and tried a special Detroit style cheese pizza with vodka sauce and one of their thin crust pepperoni pizzas! I really liked the fluffy Detroit style pizza but wasn't a huge fan of the vodka sauce and preferred their regular sauce in their pan pizzas. The pepperoni pizza was really good too! The crust was more crispy in the pan style pizza. Since it was our first time visiting here our kind server ordered us a free dessert! It was the cinnamon sticks. We opted to take them to go since we were stuffed from the pizzas. Definitely recommend to try to them! I don't know it is truly authentic pizza you'd get in Detroit but I thought it was pretty decent. Service was great and the ambience was this moody hipster vibe which I loved.

The Detroiter with extra crispy edges

I was in Austin recently for the Cap 10K. Some may pre-game the race with spaghetti. I was preparing for a similarly responsible decision, until I saw Via 313 show up on DoorDash. There is no pizza I love more than Detroit-style, and Via 313 was calling my name. I'd ordered The Detroiter. There's nothing bad to say about this one. Crispy pepperoni on top, and under the cheese. Extra crispy edges, just as I'd requested. Price was totally fair. To be honest, I think this pizza brought out the best in me during the Cap 10K, because it motivated me to finish the race so I could return to my hotel room and eat the other half of The Detroiter. Whether you are a runner or not, I'd encourage you to race on over to Via 313 and get a Detroiter with crispy edges of your very own.

This is absolutely hands down my favorite pizza spot!! I've never had Detroit style before and was happily surprised with how delicious it is. My friends and I shared a 4 slice and split it in two flavors, both were so so good! The dough is thick and soft, while the toppings were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Our server Henry was also great, he was attentive and so nice!

    The Continental (forgot Arugula)
    Aleah H.

Bartenders along Rainey Street recommended Via 313 pizza, so we finally gave it a try on our last night in Austin! You can order ahead for to go which is what I did, or walk on up from any of the bars nearby to place an order! The menu has lots of options which made choosing a challenge, but we ultimately decided on the Big Dill and Continental. Granted I love pickles, but the Big Dill was so yummy and unique! I love a quirky pizza, and this is it! If I ever return and the Big Dill is on the menu, that is definitely my order. The Continental was also yummy, but they forgot to add our arugula which makes the pizza pretty bland. Thankfully I stopped by a few hours later to get the arugula so I could at least have it with my leftovers, but initially it made for an underwhelming pizza. Leftovers were great with it, though, so just try to remember to check before driving home! The crust makes or breaks Detroit-style pizza for me, and this crust was it! Nice and thick but also crispy, so I would recommend if you are looking for a Detroit-style slice!

The best spots to eat at are under the umbrellas out front, facing South Congress Street. You won't wait long for a slice. Check out the Brooklyn mural inside. My favorite thing about this place, other than this pizza, is the Willie Nelson mural. The toppings are about what you'd expect- the pepperoni is not heaped like a meatlover's pizza or something obnoxious- more thoughtfully and tastefully placed. There aren't strange flavors like sheep's cheese and apple, like you might expect to find on some Austin pizzas. Instead, it's just margherita, cheese, pepperoni for the to go. (I think...)

We definitely could have shared with more people because we had some pizza left over. We got The Works, Shroomin' Goat, and Texas Chicken Ranch pizzas. The Texas Chicken Ranch was by far our favourite. It was really good, while the other two were alright. The crust was weirdly bubbly and amorphous looking. There was a lot of crust. The Works was okay. The sauce and meat weren't particularly tasty. The Shroomin' Goat was a vegetarian pizza with a lot of arugula, which is not my type of pizza, but our vegetarian friend said it was okay. Great vibes at Pinthouse overall though, and I have enjoyed their other pizzas in the past.

There is nothing more delectable than their unique and unbelievable slices of pizza. On top of that, their Caesar salad, and everything else in between is incredible as well. The only "issue" with Allday in Hyde Park is that you are always waiting in line. Their location in Hyde Park is their second location and is their most popular by far. Though the wait in line at any hour is worth it. Sometimes you just don't want to make that commitment. That's where their location in Terrytown shows up as the true superstar. Located right off of Lake Austin, the Allday Pizza is attached to Flo's Wine Bar and Bottle Shop as a walk up window. There isn't a lot of parking at Flo's, but plenty of free street parking right next to Allday on Pecos Street. What is crazy is that when we walked in at 12:15 PM on Sunday, might I add, there was no line to order. Plenty of people going to town on their pizza, but no line to order. This was incredible. In Hyde Park, a 12:15 PM arrival would mean a 1:30 PM meal. Not here! The outdoor space is shaded and well covered which was great for a rainy day like today was. You can also sit inside Flo's with your pizza and enjoy some wine alongside it. You can do no wrong here! Another reason I wanted to go to the Terrytown location was because unlike Hyde Park, they serve by the slice cuts of the Cacio E Pepe that I've been dying to try. After our order, we grabbed some plates, cups of water and napkins, and our food was ready in mere seconds. I had a slice of the Stracciatella, the Pep & Pepp, and of course, the Cacio E Pepe. The Stracciatella is creamy and delightful and the Pep & Pepp has a minor kick but really balances against the Stracciatella. The Cacio E Pepe was fantastic. No tomato sauce, but the peppery flavor (that you would expect in a cheese and pepper pizza) was outstanding. It tasted like a well done sauce on crust. My girlfriend got a Tomato Tomatoe that I tried a bite of and was impressed. The lemon pepper panko is just like the one included in the MVP Caesar Salad and it really did a lot of heavy lifting in the slice because it is simply so incredible. The salad which I got a bite of is delectable. How do the greens taste so fresh? Why is the dressing so delightful? It's still the best Caesar I've ever had. Because there was no line, we indulged a bit and got a Dirt Cup to share for dessert. It consisted of their Dark Chocolate Soft Serve, chocolate sauce, an Oreo crumble made in-house, and gummy worms. The soft serve gelato is nuts. I haven't had it at the Hyde location and this was my first impression. What a star on its own. I have not had a single bad menu item at Allday. You can't go wrong. Hyde Park's location might feel a little more sophisticated with its beautiful architecture, full bar with wines, cocktails, and beers on draft, and a little bit more expansive of a menu, but the Terrytown location feels a little more peaceful. It is in a beautiful area of Austin and the ability to arrive and be done with a meal in about 45 minutes is magical. I think Allday in Terrytown might take over the Hyde Park location as my favorite restaurant in Austin, but it's a close race like debating if Wemby or SGA deserves the MVP more. Both are ceiling raisers and the best food you can have in Austin. RIYL: The best food you can have in Austin with little to no wait.

We paid, got the buzzer for the table, and picked where we wanted to sit with no issues as there weren't very many people there because it was after the lunch rush. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Fat Queen. The Pepperoni Pizza was good. The Pepperonis were small and tasty. The Fat Queen was just as good. It comes with Pepperoni, Soppressata, and Italian Sausage. I really liked the flavor of all of the meat in the marinara sauce plus the pizza crust is light and fluffy. Overall Pieous is a great place to get some good pizza. The service and pizza were good. I suggest going at an off time that isn't the typical lunch or dinner time.

Make note of their hours as well because they are closed in middle of day. 4-8pm I'm the afternoon does not give a big window to choose your dining time. But the restaurant checks all the boxes. Great ambience. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty food. Big outdoor space for little ones to play. Convenient location. Decent pricing. The salads are served on big trays which makes sharing easy (even when I didn't really want to share my yummy tossed salad with toasted garbanzo beans and Chunks of fresh mozzarella and a super yummy dressing. The pasta and pizza tasted really good. From an owner of a few pizza places in Houston, I was disappointed in the crispness of the dough. I don't care for pizza that can hold its shape when being held. But if I just told myself it was bread instead- I enjoyed it. It was really the pasta and salad for me. We didn't try too much because we were actually surprised it was open. Many friends mentioned the desserts were to die for. Even Guy on DDD mentioned the caramel rolls were what cinnamon rolls wish they could be. He also LOVED the pastrami sandwiches. So I'd i could do a 1-10 scale I'd give it a 9 for the extra work we had to put in to align with their limited open hours and for the soggy crust. But highest marks on the rest. They also have a room you can rent out in the back or the restaurant and good parking. Next time you want pie- Give pieous a try

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?

Two things grab you immediately, the variety of pizzas available and other offerings such as gelato (yes! Gelato...so uniquely Italian). The Roman style slices were light, airy, and crisp. In addition, they also serve New York-style pizza pies as a classic pizza offering. Customers can elect to have a whole pizza, a variety of pizza slices to equal a whole pizza or pizza by the slice. Literally, even the most discerning palate can find can pizza at this location - vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options...yes...traditional selections and creative combinations...yes! You can taste the exquisite quality of the ingredients, from the crust to the toppings. We ordered the Italian sausage and pepper pizza. For a person who does not eat a lot of pizza, this pizza was delicious. The Baldinucci vibe was uniquely European...families sitting outside enjoy pizza and all the trimmings along with friends, colleagues and family members also dining inside. There was a constant stream of customers picking up "to-go" orders as well. While in route, we got a bit lost circling the Randall parking lot twice. Once we reached staff, they were so helpful to point out a major landmark, which helped navigate us to the building. Excellent dining experience...
