    Very berry very good...
    Humam T.

This is a strange coffee shop to say the least. It's a weird mixture of many different things combined together. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they have a tanning booth upstairs. They have some toys, some beach things, treats, coffee, smoothies, food, Arab food you name it. I don't the place had changed since it opened, and it shows. Even the cash register is from the stone age. The parking lot is weird too. The exit is the drive through line, and if a car is there, you kinda have to go against traffic. They get four stars because almost everyone's friendly and the place is comfortable...

    Salad soup?

The coffee was good but I ordered the green salad. I have what they advertise vs what I got. Where's the dang cheese man! I am beyond disappointed. I can't believe I paid 10 bucks for a salad soup with no flipping cheese or onions.

Iced vanilla latte in this 100 degree weather hit the spot. My best friend recommended this coffee spot. She gets the eagle eye coffee but I can't do a 6 shot drink right now lol. Super tasty latte and friendly service

    Happy drinks and cute interior!

That Taro Bubble Tea is seriously to die for- I just tried it today. This is an excellent place to come relax, and a nice, quiet study place if you're a student. The interior is like a cozy home and the service is remarkably inviting and friendly, as each drink is made with its unique style of love It would be worth the visit just to stop by and chat with the Majed, who is sure to brighten your day with his humble kindness and a twenty-five year perfected skill in making you the perfect coffee, just how you like it:) My goal is to try every type of bubble tea there is here! Bring your friends, grab a warm bagel sandwich or some sweet pastries, and enjoy yourself with a practically unlimited menu on drinks. I definitely recommend a visit at least once to Mocha Express, seriously worth visiting!!!

White chocolate mocha and coconut macaroons. :)

Employees were helpful, not necessarily friendly. You e got a good array of vegan options. I believe all Made with coconut milk, so if you're not a fan of coconut, this might not be your vegan ice cream spot. I tried the sea salt caramel with chocolate chips, which was vegan. It was good, but the coconut stood out quite a bit (I do like coconut). I ended up with one of the 4 grass-fed dairy options, all the good things, which had caramel ice cream, chocolate swirl and fudge and peanut butter chips. It was good. I had it in a waffle cone for $2 more, bringing my half scoop and cone to $5, I believe. The waffle cone was yummy. I wouldn't say the ice cream was anything more special than you can get in your freezer, but nice to have an option out if you're plant-based. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of the ice cream.

And for good reasons! The flavors, taste and experience are truly phenomenal. I typically try to visit during the day so that there isn't a long line. If you come anytime after 6 PM, expect to wait a while. It's just that good! The staff is always incredibly friendly and they will let you sample as many flavors as you like before you decide. They have standard staples for flavors and then seasonal ones that rotate every few months. This particular location has very little seating so you should plan to take yours to go. I recommend enjoying it while you stroll on NW 23rd. Otherwise, the staff will be happy to pack up a scoop for you and/or you can take a pint to go! Parking is a typical challenge for this area, but prices are reasonable and you can't beat the service. My favorite part of the experience is that first step into the front door when I smell the fresh waffle cones being made. From beginning to end, it's a scrumptious culinary experience that can't be missed.

As someone who used to work in an ice cream shop, I have very high standards for what is served to the customer - the scoop sizes we received were noticeably inconsistent when compared to past visits & in my opinion, if a scoop doesn't at least appear to fill the cup, either smaller cups are needed or scoopers should be trained to not have their scoops be so compact. One of the scoops in the double mini we ordered was literally 1/3 the size of the other, cost more than the regular scoop but had less ice cream. The regular scoop was compressed into such a tight, dense ball, it was rolling around my cup like a marble on the drive home. We couldn't help but laugh when we looked in our cups because the portions we had just paid for were comical. For prices that are set at a premium, I want to feel like I'm getting my money's worth and don't like walking out of an establishment feeling ripped off.

Many looked good but I was on a mission. Maple bars and apple fritters. I have had some real good ones so those are my standard. But how could you pass by a donut called "dirty old bastard"?
