    Matcha with heart latte art!

Had a work meeting at this location and enjoyed my time here. I ordered a matcha and throughly enjoyed it. The service was also great, baristas were fast and knowledgeable. The inside was cute, warm and a lively feel.

Pretty nice and friendly place to go for a coffee or tea. The place has the chill neighborhood vibe to it. The people working here are friendly. I was able to get a hibiscus tea iced as I didn't want it hot and it came out pretty quick. The place has plenty of room to relax and enjoy a conversation.

Our friends in town wanted to meet up at Bipartisan Cafe, known for their handmade pies. It's next door to Vintage Cocktail Lounge and Redwood. We dropped in on a busy Sunday morning (9:15am). Order at the front, then wait for your name to be called. No service (you busk your own tables) yet the minimum tip option was 15%. Coffees are $3.25 to $6.00 USD in three sizes (8 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz). For food, they offer pies, pastries, sandwiches, breakfast sammies, bagels and quiches. - Latte ($5.25 USD 12 oz) - subbed for oat ($1.25 USD extra). Solid but pricey cup of coffee. - Ham breakfast sammie ($8.50 USD) - black forest ham, egg, dijon and aged white cheddar. Sandwich was tiny and bland. Disappointing. - Veggie quiche ($6.50 USD) - spinach, zucchini and button mushrooms. Decent. Would stick with the pies at BC.

Four stars for lack of seating. I know that when you have a really good coffee space, that people are gonna come get on their computers, sip their water, maybe one cup of coffee all day in common dear a spot. The issue was when one person takes up a spot for three and stays there for hours. Which happens here. I'm happy for those people, who maybe can't afford Wi-Fi but maybe they should go to Starbucks and take their coffee from this place to Starbucksbecause Starbucks has a lot more room and people move faster. The cappuccino was the best I've had anywhere. Waiting to sit to drink. It was not the best I've had anywhere. There's also a long line so if you don't like lines at your problem, I really don't mind waiting in line for the best cup of coffee. But once I get it, I wanna sit down somewhere. Maybe put some more counters against the walls or something so that those of us who just wanna sit with our drinks for a minute.

I've been to this great cafe in Montavilla many times. I often house/pet sit nearby and always make a point to visit when I'm around. I think they streamlined their menu a bit during the pandemic. I love being able to pick up at the window outside if I'm not dining in. There's street parking nearby and a covered seating area on the road/sidewalk. The staff have always been very friendly and prepared everything well. I've had solid bagel sandwiches and regular sandwiches from Bipartisan but usually just get a latte to go. I don't know if they're still on the menu, but the coffee and chai milkshakes are/were yummy. I'm really surprised that I don't recall having ever gotten quiche, pie, or any other kind of pastry or sweet item. They always look good so hopefully it is just a matter of time.

Oh my .. one star, just like five stars are very hard for me to give out, you got to work pretty hard to earn that. Well, congrats you did it Bipartisan. I ordered 4 pie slices and 2 sandwiches, from their menu on their website, 16 hours advance no less, when it arrived the pies were not in the bag, but there was a note that said, "sorry- we don't have the rest " and then they put a happy face on the receipt. I had to ask for a refund on the missing food items. This is really poor customer service and the happy face was tacky, even if I have a good sense of humor. Don't put items on the menu, when you can't provide them, and if you can't provide them... let your customers know in advance.

the food was amazing. the pie was out of this world, each bite a small piece of heaven. as the sensational crust hit my lips, i knew i was in for a treat. I got carrot cake, vegan marionberry, and chocolate hehe. couldn't help myself... my wife was with me and we left happy and smiling like never before. just like when we first met. The drink was amazing too. I had a simply yet pleasing latte, the woman a chai. service was amazing. shoutout the employee pictured. inside ambiance was immaculate.

I waited a couple weeks to write this review so I could be fair about my experience. The bottom…read moreline is that I would rate their food as a six, and my service a one after being blown off by not one, but two employees. The whole experience just was a major turn off. Had a rough start. Walked in to the side of the restaurant where you can't see that it's an order first, then sit down place. A staff member, who we later learned was the chef, waved his arm in the general direction of the restaurant and said "We'll get you a......" and then trailed off as he saw a friend, made a beeline over to him, gave the guy a big hug, and then proceeded to completely forget that we exist and have a lengthy conversation. So now we're standing partly in the restaurant with no idea as to where we should be. So awkward. I almost turned around and left, but finally a waiter directed us to a seat and said he'd bring menus by so we sat awkwardly until we realized we would have to go up and order. He never did return with those menus. Although the food was delicious, the whole experience left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. To be treated like an inconvenience by the chef himself is beyond insulting. He sat for the entirety of our meal at his special table, entertaining people and greeting those that came by to grace him. The whole thing just was elitist, awkward, and frankly, rude. The quality of the food is still not enough to bring me back based on that kind of experience.

I attended a special event here with a guest chef and a prefix menu. It was my first time visiting…read moreand I will definitely be going back. The space itself is on the smaller side. It was comfortable with low lighting and the space didn't feel loud or crowded. The service was fantastic with several people visiting our table throughout the experience for various reasons, all incredibly friendly. The food itself for this particular event was Korean fried chicken, caviar, truffle fries and bubbles. Everything was great but the fried chicken was some of the best if not the best I've ever had. It came with the caviar and 3 other sauces (I'm a sauce guy!) which were all fantastic. We also ordered bread pudding for dessert which was not a part of the prefix and all agreed it was insanely yum! I want to go back for brunch and I will definitely keep an eye on their special events to go to more knowing how great they are! Only note is they are in a small strip mall and have a very small parking lot, so prepare for street parking nearby.
