Great little local coffee shop! It shows homage to the previous life as a motorcycle shop. The staff is friendly, the brews are great, and the vibe is chill. Come have a drink and stay awhile.

This place really surprised me! Went on a whim because it was close. The service was great and fast, and the coffee choices weren't lacking variety. What threw me for a loop was how amazing the burrito was. It's definitely made fresh in the back and had so much flavor. I didn't get any pictures of the coffee but man that was good too. Definitely recommend.

Motorcycle cafe/coffee shop with excellent coffee, pastries, hot bites, and merch. Staff was very friendly and Sunday late morning was nice and chill, plenty of tables and seating. Latte was hot and smooth, we also got a classic bagel with cream cheese, nostalgic of Boston days.

Not only is this simple, avocado toast delicious - good bread, toasted perfectly, avocados sliced uniformly and at the perfect ripeness with a lovely pepper flake dusting, it was presented beautifully in my to go box. The fresh strawberry garnish was the icing on the cake. The coffee was pretty dang good too!

St. Johns as a few cute coffee shops but Two Stroke is probably my favorite! I've been there a few times and have tried a variety of options and they've all been fantastic! I'm typically a basic latte or cappuccino type of girl, but their specialty options are pretty darn good! My favorite is the "One Eyed Jack" and I order it half as sweet as it typically comes. It's honey and almond deliciousness and super good hot or iced! Also a big fan of their vanilla latte. The vibe is cool. Think motorcycle club meets hipster coffee shop. It's a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done. Their merch is super cute as well. Strongly considering pulling the trigger one of their cool p sweatshirts

Food Menu! They also had a biscuits and gravy special that sold out in the first hour and a half.

Staff were indifferent and the acoustics are pretty bad in here. When the coffee grinder is going, you can't hear your table mates.

Love their avocado toast and dark roast drip. If I don't get it at least twice a week, I go through withdrawals. Amazing!

Favorite coffee shop in St. Johns for sure. The Vermont latte is so good and always the perfect temperature!

Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. (5/5) Twisted Croissant certainly does some some really delectable treats. It's one of my favorite bakeries in Portland!

Twisted Croissant was definitely one of my favorite bakeries in the city, however, they have…read moresignificantly raised their prices, and the pastries are much smaller. I'm not sure that I can justify spending $7 to $12 on a single pastry. This will have to be my special occasion bakery, I suppose. Additionally, I had a less than pleasant exchange with one of the employees. It kind of caught me off guard because that has never happened before. Maybe she was just having a rough day.
