Jalapeño cheese bagel with lox cream cheese

Everything about this little hole in the wall coffee shop had me living in heaven. The service was great and the people who came and went all knew each other. It was like living in a hallmark movie. The brown cinnamon sugar latte was tasty. Not too sweet which I would have liked a tad bit more brown sugar flavor but overall was good. The jalapeño cheese bagel with lox cream cheese was IT! It was very well balanced. The bagel was soft and totally fresh. Excited to try more drinks here next time I visit!

Grindhouse Coffee is the perfect example of unassuming coffee stand that just surpasses expectations. Outdoor seating, friendly staff, delicious coffee, and breakfast sandwiches that are a must for mornings on the run. Come. Enjoy. Thank me later.

My Pumpkin Spiced Latte w/ coconut mylk was handsome... I mean Sexy!? My wife's Cinnamon Vanillatte, also delish. It's our fav coffee spot in Arbor Lodge. Easy access, pleasant staff. They stock Sparrow bakery treats. Cinnamon Knot is addicting! Cool window decor in the shed with seating. 5stars for the bakery treats and they have coconut mylk which is my favorite alt milk.

We ordered one regular and one decaf oat milk iced mocha and both were full-flavored and perfect for a hot day 5/5. We also got two bagels, one was a sesame bagel with egg and cheddar and the other was an everything bagel with pesto cream cheese. The bagels were extremely fresh and very very tasty 4.5/5 The set up outside is great being dog friendly and completely open. My only critique is that they accidentally mixed up the bagels, which isn't a big deal. We would come here regularly if we lived here. They have great coffee, drinks, and service. I would recommend this place for sure.

The food/drinks and service are always amazing, my questions are always answered and I've been given the best recommendations. The ambiance is great, very relaxed with lots of families and dogs : )

This place is the best! Great coffee, perfect taste not burnt and great flavor. Also love that it doesn't break the bank, only around $5 for a coffee which is decent for Portland. The staff is always friendly and timely. Love this place and here almost everyday!

Immaculate atmosphere and the exact sort of thing we were looking for for breakfast. We didn't get her name but saw on the receipt her name might have been Davi, she was such a bundle of light and life, so attentive and kind! She immediately gave us wonderful recommendations which we all adored. The table ordered praline bacon to share (do yourself a favor and get this), one ordered the praline bacon waffle, another ordered the bananas foster waffle, and I got the seasonal vegetable hash. We were all in HEAVEN with what we ordered. From the first bite to the last it we were all absolutely stunned by how delicious and well made everything was. I savored every bite as did my compatriots. One gal ordered a couple things to go for her family (huevos rancheros for the hubby and cinnamon rolls for her kiddos) and our waitress Davi recommended they bring out the cinnamon rolls unfired so that she could pop them in the oven when she got home after a short drive. It was such good attention to detail that felt like such a friendly offer. Absolute superstars, the lot of you. Next time I'm back in Portland I'm absolutely spoiling some friends here with what I can only describe as a transcendent experience.

As i approached the building, I noticed that it was full of people. I fell into the street. I was in and out of consciousness. My heart was racing at the thought that I drove 15 hours and could not get a seat at SCREEN DOOR. As I walked into the building a humble man greeted me. He told me that they would clean off a table for me. WOO HOO. I bursted out crying at the thought that I finally got my seat. As I sat down a soft chair graced my bottom. Beautiful. I looked around and the scenery was beautiful. As I looked at the menu, my eyes sharply turned to the chicken and waffles. Deliciously perfect choice. I ordered my food and got a coffee. My chicken and waffles arrived and I took a bite. I started floating. My soul left my body. I looked down at my body as I floating away, I was enjoying every bite. I reached the heavens. A loud voice said "Its not your time yet. Return and enjoy the rest of your meal." I ascend back to the chair and every chicken and every waffle was gone. The servers were SO kind. I got my check and shead a tear, knowing that was the best meal of my life. Over all from kind servers to and delicious food, SCREEN DOOR was an awesome experience. There was a short line forming. The large windows give you a sneak peek at the opulence waiting inside. Upon walking in the main entrance, the first thing I noticed were the chandeliers. The inside is gorgeous. The walls are painted various shades of greens making it bright and gives off a soft and natural feel. Given I was dining solo, I decided to seat at the bar located off to the left. It seats 12 comfortably. A big plus for me are the seats. They had a high back and are super comfortable. I could see sitting for hours gabbing with friends. Nice upbeat electronic music played in the background. Loud enough to hear but soft enough that you can hear who is next to you. I ordered the Omelette du jour - Three egg omelette special with bacon, spinach, caramelized onions, gorgonzola and blue cheese. It was fantastic. The first thing that hit my palate was the blue cheese and caramelized onions. Delicious combination. I was happy to see that the omelette was overflowing with caramelized onions as I love them. The accompanying roasted potatoes were cooked perfectly. I also got an espresso martini to wake me up and give me a buzz to start my day. It comes loaded with a generous portion of grilled mortadella and melted provolone cheese, perfectly moistened with a tangy mustard aioli. The fresh lettuce and bell peppers added a satisfying crunch to every bite. Chefwich - K-Town Steak Sandwich (5/5): A limited-time creation packed into a banh mi roll. It had a generous portion of perfectly tender and sweet bulgogi steak that pairs with their melted jack cheese.
