A super aesthetic and hip coffeeshop. They have a variety of creative drinks on offer, as well as food. Staffs were super friendly. We enjoyed our drinks and would love to be back for some wines in the evening!

We were a few blocks away and decided to try this spot out. There was a long line that wrapped around inside, but the wait wasn't too long before we got to order. I actually ordered the peanut butter brittle. It was an interesting mix and that was what intrigued me. It was actually pretty good and not overly sweet, just how I like it. There are a lot of coffee shops in the area so it was nice to support local coffee shops.

Most Sundays I need a spot to chill in NW and Prince is that perfect spot! The beats are always just right, the noise level Is perfect for my ADHD brain to work, and the coffee and teas are DEE and LISH! All of the servers have always been nice - this is a solid hangout for me.

Craft micro-brewers, distilleries, wine, tasting rooms, farm to table restaurants, chocolatiers and coffee makers populate the vibrant foodie scene everywhere in Portland. We have it all - all I want today here and now is a great tasting well balanced cup of coffee. I get that at home every morning, with my favorite local roaster using a pour over method. Today I'm out to check out the coffee scene and vibe at Prince. Coffee shop is open and airy with windows on two sides. Lots of outside light and tables inside. Lots of people parked at a table, drinking coffee, working or playing on their smart phone and computers, creating art and recording in their journals. People like to hang out here and it is a good hangout. Music is cool also. The cappuccino is pretty good, it's got a nice sweet and bitter balance to it. The barista says the beans are roasted locally at Heart roasters.

Such a cute coffee spot! I've gone twice now when visiting Portland and everytime it's so good and always so busy! Everyone is so nice and helpful. There's lots of places to sit and some outdoor seating as well if the weather is good! The stroop latte and peanut brittle latte are both 10/10!!

Friendly staff, delicious quiche, and decent latte- I got one that was recommended as one of the most popular and it didn't taste like I expected but it was fine. My biggest issue with the place is how uncomfortable it is- the line wrapped around the area, putting people hovering over those sitting- and the seating is either hard wood benches or metal bench or a strange fabric bench with metal bars on the edges. Each option was uncomfortable, with no backs on them. If you're taking it to go or you don't need a comfortable seat and don't mind being very close to the people around you, it's fine.

So lovely! I ordered the cardamom latte and a bagel. It was super packed and busy and the wait still wasn't as long as I expected! Baristas were super friendly and the shop has a lot of natural light. Definitely coming back!

This coffee shop is happening! I had been to their NE location, but this spot on NW 19th is particularly bustling with people meeting up, working, chatting, and of course, enjoying the coffee. They use a variety of coffee roasters. They've got a number of specialty lattes, including the sugar cookie, hazelnut, pistachio, stroop, cardamom, and more. They do a mocha with Cloudforest chocolate. They also have all your classic coffee drinks, like espresso, Americano, cappuccino, etc. Milk choices are oat almond, coconut, or cow. Their pastries are from Bakeshop. They also have a retail selection of wines, dishware, mugs and thermoses, etc. I really enjoyed the amber tumblers they served the Cortado out of (pictured). However, my main feedback for the biz is that their thinner amber glasses are too thin - they're hot to the touch and don't keep the coffee warm for long. And I wish the 16oz drinks came in "for here" reusable cups. The space is expansive, full of daylight, industrial, vaguely Swedish-minimal. There is bench, stool, and chair seating inside, and a small handful of sidewalk tables. Street parking only. Open 7am - 8pm! Wow!

The space feels cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I especially loved the little post-it wall where customers can leave behind anything they want a small detail that makes the café feel even more personal and community-driven. What I ordered: Soft Cream Matcha One of the creamiest matchas I've ever had! The soft cream was incredibly fluffy and smooth, while the matcha itself was bold enough to come through with every sip and also had a coconuty essence to it. It had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. If you love a rich, creamy matcha, this is definitely one to try. Es-Yen A classic Thai-style iced coffee made with condensed milk. This was strong, sweet, and definitely had that much-needed wake-me-up effect! The condensed milk gave it a creamy sweetness while still allowing the bold coffee flavor to shine through. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong exactly what I needed. Buttered & Sweetened Condensed Milk Toast I originally had my eye on the pandan toast, but it's clearly a popular choice because it was already sold out earlier in the day! So I went with the buttered and sweetened condensed milk toast instead, and I'm so glad I did. The toast was crispy on the outside, buttery, warm, and finished with that sweet condensed milk flavor. Every bite practically melted in my mouth. The pandan toast is definitely on my list for next time! My Portland experience was made even better by my stop at Kaleido Coffee. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to give me recommendations and making sure everyone was taken care of even during a busy rush. Until next time, Portland!

Early in the morning the coffee shop was pretty busy, especially as stores were not opened yet. As it was my first time in the shop it took me awhile to process the menu- this is definitely a coffee focus place (not for tea drinkers). And the focus seems to be on more coffee forward drinks, rather than jacked up with sugar and other stuff like Starbucks. Coffee prices are inline with other coffee stores in the area. As for seating, the shop provides tables seating. Plus there is a nice coffee bar at the windows, which is perfect for people watching. Plus there is a small coffee bar that faces the barista if you want to watch drinks being made. Parking can be tough in this area as the main shopping street....parking is on the street and off the main street.

The shop is situated in an iconic part of NW 21st; it exudes sophisticated and timeless charm. Stepping inside, you see the historical bones of the building laced with modern touches of hip decor and thoughtful design. It's a bit retro and a bit edgy all while being chic, so it's very well aligned with Portland itself. Sit on a live edge bench! Enjoy a marshmallow stick. Stare at the luxurious wallpaper. But don't let these things deter you from the epic coffee experience that awaits you. Subtly smooth, adequately bold and flavors aplenty... all served with a smile. The staff is incredibly friendly. My drink was even delivered my table by the barista! The bathroom is clean and parking is available on the street. They have all the classics and then some. There were aromas of homemade chai permeating the space as I sipped my coffee. This is an experience that can't be boiled down to 'just coffee.' It's not just another errand when you're in NW either. It's the kind of place where a random stranger next to you says aloud that 'this is the best coffee in Portland' as you walk by. And they mean it. One of my favorite coffee experiences of the year so far. It's memorable on many levels, and the atmosphere aligns so well with the vibrancy of our city. You owe it to yourself, and to maintaining the true spirit of Portland, to stop in, stay and sip a while. There's no better way to identify with Sterling than through firsthand experience. See you there soon.
