Don't let the minimal working scare you, The pie Spot is a delicious pastry/ brunch/coffee spot with absolutely delicious mini pies! There's art on the walls, games you can play and lots of seating. Absolutely, incredible. My mother makes amazing pies, and even she said, this was one of the best she's ever had. For a recent birthday, we got a whole banana cream. A mountain of whip, drizzle of salted caramel and the custard is so fresh and tasty. Crust on all pies is thick, flaky and buttery. Chocolate peanut butter, also got a whole, is what a dark chocolate peanut butter cup could only aspire to be. Sinful, in a good way. Though, I believe $32 or so for each may seem steep, but we found that the 9 inch could easily feed 10 people, and with the quality, I'd say a bargain. A real seasonal star is also their sweet corn pie. Totally unique with that fresh corn milk flavor, piled high with cream and a little seasoning dust on top. Outstanding! I love the Pie Spot! My go-to's are the pie crust cinnamon roll & the breakfast sandwich. The Pie Spot take on the cinnamon roll is just pure flaky goodness, and something you can only get here! I get the hype about why everyone raves about this place having the best breakfast sandwich in PDX, despite their name highlighting the pies. It's the best one I've had in my life! The English muffin they apparently make in-house is so, so soft. Whatever sauce they put inside is like crack. I got the mushroom pot pie which was so delicious and well seasoned. It came with big chunks of mushroom which I loved. The crust was flaky and it was everything I could want! My friends each got breakfast sandwiches and they loved theirs. You can customize it with the add-on options like bacon and spam. I also had the lemon curd pie which was tasty, and everyone liked their drinks. The folks working the counter were so nice. There's WiFi and tables to work at, with fresh flowers in vases. Such a cool, cute and tasty place for pie! It was so fun to go inside and check out the building. Outside there is a painted flamingo mural which I loved so much! Inside is decorated with more works of are and the colors and decor were fun too! The main attraction is all the lies of course. However, it does make you think, oh, I can have two more because they are so tiny. Kinda like the Halloween candies. You think portion control, but then you end up eating 30 pieces of candy. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere and neighborhood, and the gentleman was super friendly. Tried the marionberry since it's special for OR and I was the tourist back in June 2023. Brown butter pecan, and smores for the kid. I am not a pie expert since I mostly love the crust of the pie, more than the fillings. All the pies had great crusts, so I enjoyed it for sure. Flavorwise the brown butter pecan was my favorite, since I am not much a fan of fruit pies. But the marionberry was still good. Borderline perfect pot pie! The top crust is salty, flaky, and exactly what I want in a pot pie. The inside is a classic chicken pot pie--comforting and hearty. I was initially concerned about it having both dark and white meat, but each time I've ordered it, it's mostly white meat, which I prefer. Occasionally, the meat can be a little overcooked or chewy, but that's rare. I do wish the sauce inside was a bit thicker--it can be slightly watery for my taste. As for the mini pies, the flavor options aren't my favorite since I only really like chocolatey pies. I tried the peanut butter one, and the filling was extremely dense, and the crust was overcooked and too thick for my liking. On the other hand, the chocolate chip cookie was a pleasant surprise--crispy on the outside and gooey/slightly underbaked on the inside, just how I like it! The drink options are also great, in my opinion. Overall, The Pie Spot is definitely worth trying. Despite the minor critiques, it's still one of my favorite spots for pot pie. read more

The marionberry pie was pretty good it was a really chunky filling and not very sweet. I also tried their marionberry pie shake on another occasion which I didn't really care for.
