Nice healthy plant.

Lux Coffee Lounge is an excellent place to work or study. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming so are the baristas. They have a variety of seating arrangements to suit every day. In addition to excellent lattes, they have crazy looking and tasty desserts. However, if you want the best Dubai Chocolate Bar you are going to test in your life, this is the place for you. Parking could be a bit tricky , but it is worth it believe me.

the raspberry mousse desert

nice staff, desserts are gross, mango and raspberry are not from the display, the mousse is jello like, and there is no flavor. The raspberry and mango both are filled with vanilla, and tiny bits of jam that are firm and jelly. Nothing like mousse, 10.99 is crazy for such a gross dessert. Took one bite and was grossed out. The atmosphere is nice though, clean, smells nice comfy chairs maybe the coffee is good.

Great coffee shop off Division. They had a good variety on the menu, their food portions looked huge and the coffee was great. Great spot to study at or grab a bite to eat. And they have a parking lot which is great!

Cute little coffee shop with cozy vibes. Got a latte that was great! And got a pistachio "popsicle" which was a cake slice with a cute popsicle stick and bow on it. It had real pistachios in it, which was a first for me. I liked how the cake was not too sweet! Easy private parking lot. Clean bathroom. Lots of food and crepe options too, but they are on the relatively pricey side - they look gorgeous though! Loved the festive decorations they have for the holidays.

This is a little neighborhood gem. Great coffee and amazing desserts. They have a regular menu as well. We will be back

Lux stands true to its name. It's an indulgent experience that leaves you satisfied! The warm lighting is inviting and the ambiance is unique for the Portland area. Their fruit mousse cakes were delicate and creamy. We tried the tiramisu iced coffee was creamy and balanced. The avocado toast had a rich blend of feta that was perfect and the chocolate strawberry croissant was phenomenal! Highly recommend making this a bucket list for your next coffee experience.

Came in for a tea, and tried the pistachio bar. The service was excellent. The owner was here and told us all about the different desserts. They serve Tea Chai Te tea. The chairs and tables are so cute and comfy. The details are so cute. Would defiantly come again. There's parking. There's ambiance. So nice!

If you can't finish the croissants day of, make sure to retoast them in the toaster oven! It will still be buttery and flakey and delicious! I love getting their bon bons as gifts for others (too expensive to just get for myself ) and my favorite pastry is their snickers bar. Gosh, not much else to say because others have such a good job with their reviews. They're currently looking for a new location and I'm sad to see them leave their old spot on Williams.

It's clearly a popular spot, and from what I hear, getting there early is key if you want their famous croissants. Everything we ordered was amazing a rocky road cookie, a chocolate croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Even two days later, everything was still tasty. The flaky layers were especially impressive. I'm a big rocky road fan and had never tried it as a cookie before this one was a winner and tasted fresh, not processed at all. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time.

Come early because they do run out of pastries. Everything I've ordered has tasted great. The croissants are especially good. Very flavorful and buttery. Lots of unique flavors too, and in the macarons as well. The space itself is small with almost no seating and it's too crammed to form an appropriate line. You have to balance on small steps at some point. Not ideal. I would normally give this bakery 4-5 stars, but I think they deserve only two stars for my personal experiences. The staff has never been all that friendly, and on my last visit (and last for a while or ever) one woman was so rude to me I was so shocked I just stood there with my jaw hanging open until I finally regained my wits and just stepped away. I don't even know what caused her attitude, I had ordered and paid, but she didn't like how I was waiting for my bag of food, I guess. I don't know. But I won't be going back anytime soon even if I lived in Portland. Bummer because it's very tasty.

Sunday morning at 11am my husband and I got a seat at the bar. It was pretty busy. As usual the fresh croissant was amazing, flakey, and buttery. I had the chefs omelette for the first time. It was exactly as I wanted it and the hash browns were nice and crunchy. My husband had the corned beef hash and it was so flavorful and delicious. I will order that next time. Ambiance is great and service was fast and friendly.

I was treated crappily by staff who I observed saying my order was not their responsibility. Not everyone there was bad. The initial service I got was good, but my coffee was so poorly slapped together because I spoke up. My sandwich was also slapped together missing ingredients I paid for, so enjoy the extra money I guess. Here's how the interaction went. I was assured my mocha would be ready in a few minutes, before my food, from a really nice staff person who too my to-go order. They instructed me where to stand. I watched the person put together my mocha. All that was needed was ice. My food came out quickly and I took it while waiting for my drink. 15 minutes passed. Two staff members looked at my drink and one said "who put this here " and another person said "I don't know, not my problem". I spoke up and said "hey that's my drink and if you put ice in it, I promise I'll get out of your way" - it was busy and packed. I was trying to be understanding. One of them made a disgusted face at me and said "I was gonna put ice in it!!!" ... wow. Eventually they did. And did it so sloppily that there was mocha all over the drink. The top was put on poorly and the drink spilled all over me. I tried to tell another server who was greeting and seating people but they kept saying "oh it's okay! It's totally fine" - no, it actually isn't. I get it. You don't want my business of 15+ years, but there are nicer ways of conveying that. I was ripped off and treated in a way I don't treat my enemies. But just like my order, that's "not your problem", right?
