Extremely disappointed and disgusted by this interaction. I called Mobile Speed Screens for service and was asked where in San Diego County I was located. When I said San Ysidro, the female representative responded, "San Ysidro?! Is that Mexico?!" I found the comment insulting and racially offensive. San Ysidro is a community within the City of San Diego. If your company serves San Diego County, your representatives should know the communities within the area they serve--or simply look at a service-area map instead of making comments like this. The representative was also rude throughout the interaction. I would not do business with a company whose representative treats a potential customer this way. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

Oh my gosh. I am so beyond happy with the new screens for my apartment in Pacific Beach that Mobile Speed Screens did for me about a month ago. They were extremely helpful on the phone, very realistic about my expectations and hopes; and they were quick to get the job turned around. What's awesome is that the screens face out and you can just walk up to them, so I didn't even have to be home for them to do their work. And that was extremely convenient. My original screens were rusting and tore up. And you could see all the way through my apartment. If you were walking by the bathroom, you could see all of the bathroom, and you could see all the way down into the whole bedroom. Don't like that. I had "solar screens" installed. It was kind of something I wanted to try out to see if it would work... These are heavier mesh screens so you do lose a little bit of airflow, but that's OK for me. And they are a little bit darker than your normal screens. But once you're inside looking out through them, everything looks fine in my short view. The big benefit is the privacy that I'm getting because my living room window is right next to the first set of stairs and the main walkway to everybody's apartments. And privacy film on the windows is great, but if your windows are open, you can see right through most bug screens. Something that I noticed, is this only works basically during the day. Like when the sun's up in the sky. And it's bright outside. Once it gets darker or around sunset, and it's brighter inside the apartment that it is outside, you can see right through everything like nothing was different. So this definitely does not give you nighttime privacy. This is daytime privacy only. And I wouldn't change right behind these windows, this is mostly for like people just walking by and I'm sitting on the couch, and I don't want to make eye contact with them. I don't know, being single and living in a place that has a lot of foot traffic, I like having my privacy without losing my view or blocking the air. And these screens are doing exactly what I need them to. I have been referring people to Mobile Speed Screens for +5 years, but I haven't had a chance to experience their service for my own home. Very happy. Will use again. Will continue to refer them. read more

Amazing company! I had 2 things done at my house. They installed a retractable screen on my front door and replaced the screen mesh on my slider with a heavy duty dog screen. They were very responsive prior to coming out. They installed both items very quickly and efficiently they cleaned up didn't even notice. They were here. Great quality product before they left. They gave me instructions on how to use my retractable screen. Great job. I would use them again 100%! read more

On time, friendly, clean, and responds quickly. Definitely would work with them again.

We just had all of our dated screens replaced. From getting the estimate, booking the appointment and installation, every steps were painless and professionally handled. Carol was excellent in estimating the time required for installation, and Kelly (and Jose) worked efficiently in getting the installation done within the estimated timeframe. Work was of great quality. What a wonderful experience. read more

My husband and I give Mobile Speed Screens the highest of recommendations. We needed nearly all of our screens and screen doors replaced recently. After comparing a few companies, we decided on Mobile Speed Screens. Their proposal was fairly priced and we appreciated the care and time that Carol and Kelly took to understand our needs. Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options, which helped us to be completely satisfied with the results. On installation day, Kelly and Jose (installer) remained detail-oriented. They made sure we had the doors opening on the sides that we wanted, and made all the adjustments needed to make sure that the new sliding screen doors in our older home were fitted exactly and slid smoothly. The screen installations were smooth and fast, with attention to vacuuming up even the smallest amount of metal shavings at the end. Kelly even attached a bug strip to the only screen door that didn't need replacing to help keep bugs from entering the house, and made helpful recommendations for upkeep of our new doors. We appreciate both the quality of their work and their commitment to best outcomes. Thanks, Mobile Speed Screens!--we'll definitely use you again, and recommend you to friends and family. read more

I needed solar screens repaired high on a second story window. We had these screens installed before the solar screen industry had stabilized in San Diego so the screens were installed by a handyman using methods that are obsolete. Nonetheless Mobile Speed Screens agreed to take a look. The repair person arrived early and did a terrific job, checking other screens in the process and fixing another that was loose. Highly recommended. read more

Look no further! If you need screens repaired or replaced, call Carole and get Kelly to your home or business ASAP! Not only are they professional, courteous, on time, clean and efficient, but Kelly is extremely patient. I must've called him "Steve" six times that day (I apologize Kelly!). I highly recommend Mobile Speed Screens and I won't use anybody else but them in the future! read more

Very happy we chose Mobile Speed Screens to replace a bedroom window screen. They were very professional, communicative, and on-time. Highly recommend them for any of your screen needs. Thank you for a job well done! read more

Great experience! I used Yelp to have a few vendors respond. Mobile Speed Screens was quick to reply, and after reading their reviews I knew I wanted to work with them. They walked me through my options over phone & text, dropped off sample colors, and when I was ready they got me on the schedule. I had them do a quick re-screen of a single patio slider, but the bigger project was a new front screen door. I had previously purchased a DIY screen door from Home Depot many years ago, and it never fit perfect. Mobile Speed Screens came out to measure and show me designs & colors for different doors that they could install to replace my existing door. Not only were the options way better than Home Depot & Lowes - the door was going to be custom fit for me, so I wasn't going to need any weather stripping, or shim-style adjustments. The result? Amazing work! The quality of the door is 1000x better than what you will find at Home Depot or Lowes!! So worth the money. Highly recommend! Oh, and they're a local small business here in North County - so go support them :) read more

Great work, quick call back, good communication, and fair prices. Will definitely use again

The installer took time to explain how I can easily remove screens for cleaning plus he adapted a second handle on my patio screen door. I would recommend this company, they were friendly, efficient and knew their business. Please refer them! read more

Thank you to my home owning Yelpers who helped me find this place! Excellent service, great follow up and extremely professional. They did a wonderful job on our down stairs sliding door screen. The technician did extra effort to make sure our screen fit nicely with our crappy sliding door that a previous contractor messed up. He was very, very nice and offered some tips on how he could make the screen slide better. My husband reminded me that the upstairs sliding door needs repaired as well, guess who I will recall to replace that screen? Summertime is busy for obvious reasons so if you are willing to be patient, this company is the one to call. I saw lot's of comments about Carol and I couldn't agree more, very friendly and awesome customer service which is VERY rare in San Diego these days. read more

Trevor does an outstanding job fixing and repairing screens. They also have thicker material which works well for areas where there might be a chance of more tears due to plants. The screens and frames look amazing. It is such an efficient and easy service to use. Highly recommend for the quality and value. read more

I used mobile speed screens for my previous house and called them up again when I moved into my new house. I have 3 cats so it was important for me to have screens that were scratch proof for peace of mind. When I called I was put through voicemail, but Carol got back to me within a day through text and discussed pricing for our 3 sliding doors and 9 windows. It was so easy to schedule an appointment and they had a technician come out the coming week. For the pet screen it was between $50-$60 each depending on size. Door screens rescreened with pet mesh were $125 each. Because the white frames were backordered, Paul redid our sliding doors first within a few hours and they looked awesome and I was so happy to not have clunky sliding screens anymore. He put us on the waitlist for the windows and said they would call back when there was sufficient stock. We're told it could be another 2-3 months so we weren't optimistic. However, to our surprise Carol called about a month later to notify us that they received new material and they could schedule us in as early as the next morning, so we went ahead and had them come. Paul did an amazing job again, respecting our home by wearing the shoe booties I gave him for walking around the house and finished in no time. Love how simple updates like these make a home feel so much more refreshed! read more

From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Kelly! Of the companies I contacted for adding a sliding screen door to our Double French Doors, Kelly was the only one who asked for pictures to ensure there would be no surprises on the install. We are thrilled with the new screen doors, and if we decide to add another screen door Mobile Speed Screens will be our only call! read more

There's a reason why they have over 150 5 star reviews!!! This company is as top notch as they could get. My husband would worry that getting someone to build out a screen door for us would take weeks (most of the contractors we've been working with are so behind on work). But he was wrong. I called and left a message for Mobile Speed Screens Monday. Carol called back 10-15 mins later. Was super helpful in getting me a quote and scheduling me in. Someone was out the VERY NEXT DAY! Paul called to let me know he was on his way and got the job done in literally in an hour. He was super friendly with my kids and dog. The quality of work is top notch. Our screen door was beautiful! I am so happy to have a breeze coming through the house again. Also, they had the BEST quote that I got too. Another company was trying to charge me 1.5x MORE than what Mobile Speed Screens quoted me. It's so refreshing to work with a high quality AND honest company. read more

Just put our home on the market so needed to replace 4screens in office, two large screen door sets in master bedroom & one set in TV room. Hans, the conscientious field tech from MSS, went above and beyond the call of duty to not only do what was contracted, but to reconfigure the screen doors on their tracks so each rolled as smoothly as new by the end of service. This meant thinking out of the box and engineering a flipping of the screens (he called me to sign off on his idea with full transparency & I was reluctant to go with his idea because it meant that screws would be exposed to the marine layer conditions in our neighborhood, possibly rusting due to our lack of awning facing the ocean). He cheerfully acknowledged my concerns and sourced a rare wrench in order to make it work PERFECTLY despite the extra time and head scratching involved. Hans also found the cause for why our screens weren't rolling smoothly: a rubber runner originally placed by manufacturer had become lodged between the screens & the track, so he removed them for us. He educated me on California's new regulations requiring tabs on screens to allow for their easy removal, (our office screen tabs were long ago pulled off by errant window washers)... Hans is kind, intelligent, efficient and transparent! Go to MSS and request Hans for your window & screen needs! Five stars ! Thx, Hans!! read more

I called Mobile Speed Screens late in the afternoon and got the voicemail. I left a message expecting a call back the next morning, but I got a call only a few minutes later from Carol who was super helpful. Joaquin showed up right on time and was quick to replace the screen door that was badly in need of repair. I will definitely use this company again. read more

I saw Paul doing a job while out on a walk and picked up his card. Called to schedule and Carole immediately responded with an appt for next day. She is spot on with communication, by the way. Paul was meticulous in making sure my slider screen moved smoothly as well as replacing screens on 4 other windows. Highly recommend. read more

We had been looking for solutions to cool off a couple of bedroom windows while also minimizing the amount of heat that they reflected onto the artificial turf outside. We didn't like any of the specialized turf tint options, but luckily someone recommended that we contact Mobile Speed Screens. After talking to Carole and seeing a few pictures of their solar screen solutions, we were sold! They fit us into their very busy schedule and installed everything on-site without even having to come inside the house. After seeing how great the bedroom windows looked, we decided to have them do our two bathroom windows and re-screen our slider with solar mesh as well, and he was able to build and install those right then and there. Just a great, easy experience that has made a huge difference inside our home. read more

I am SO happy with the work Kelly provided. For starters, everything was done via yelp email. Do you know how convenient that is? It's impossible for me to be on the phone so anyone who emails me information and scheduling already won my vote. After determining how many screens I needed plus a new swinging screen door, Kelly gave me an estimate that was 160 dollar cheaper than the other estimate I received. Now, I don't know about you but that's a huge savings! Installation was a breeze. Kelly and his worker (sorry, I blanked on his name) were super fast. The screens looks good, door is solid, and Kelly even put in a few screens that were taken out by my cleaning team. Goodbye bugs in my house and hello fresh air! Highly recommend! read more

Mobile Speed Screens exceeded all my expectations! We have had the same screens for 12 years and we must have just gotten used to them being dirty and old because I didn't think anything was really wrong with them. Thank goodness my husband convinced me to have them all replaced, it made our house look 100% better! If you're in North County San Diego, especially in Encinitas, and need custom-made screens, this is the company to go with. Kelly and Carole were a delight to work with. Not only does Mobil Speed Screens live up to its name, but they are also excellent at what they do. We are renovating an older home that had been neglected for many years. Since it has a view of the ocean, we wanted to pay special attention to the windows. All the screens were either shredded by animals or rotted by the sun. Carol at Mobil Speed Screens, was very friendly and informative and helped me choose the best type of screen for each window. Jordan came to our home right away, ready to give a quote and do the job on the spot. He even removed rusted chicken wire from an outdoor patio and replaced it with large, framed pet mesh for a stunning picture window effect that transformed the upstairs. He framed each window of the home with several different types of screens quickly and expertly and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our requests for changes and additions. Carol and Jordan were a pleasure to work with and did the job for a very reasonable price. read more

Mobile Speed Screens - Our new screen door with lock- stainless steel! - Windows Installation Near Me

So my big GSD puppy decided to try to get my attention through the window whilst she was playing outside and ripped a giant hole in the screen with her monstrous paw. You know, puppy talons and all. Luckily, its been the buggiest bug season of all time, so that was awesome. Last year, I used to use another screen company who did a fine job, but didn't answer the phone this time (maybe the COVID thing) and in turn I found theses folks. Kelly came out and replaced the torn one and also its mate on the window. I asked him to build me knew frames and use the pet screen. Holy cow! I suppose I was used to service being 'just fine', because Kelly was great and the screens and frame are bitchen! The new frames fit super tight to keep those pesky 'sceeters out and pet screen looks great...I was afraid it might look industrial, but oh no, they look really nice. Surprisingly quick, right on time and the quoted price...No shenanigans. I also asked him about building a sliding screen door as mine has a 'special' size (that means no one on the planet has this size) and he can build it for a bit less than the other guy and with the same if not better hardware. Thanks again! Great job! DD. read more

Just want to say how pleased with Jordan's repair of my sliding screen door yesterday. He called ahead as requested and was right on time. He checked my door and had great trouble getting it to move, and we realized that someone had probably closed it way too aggressively and it just got seriously stuck. Normally, it glides very smoothly. So he had the idea to put some kind of stopper in the upright track, so the door couldn't ever get stuck again. He called in to get confirmation of the fix, and they agreed. Jordan put two screws in the upright track and the door works perfectly~!!! We were both quite pleased. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your company, Carol~! It feels like a family vibe and the work was impeccable ! Thanks so much, Jordan, Carol and Kelly!!!!! ~ maggie brown read more
