During the initial diagnostic visit, the entire time the technician was more concerned about making…read moreYouTube videos on rv repairs than actually working to find the issues. The technician finished looking around and came to explain that he knew exactly what needed to be done in order to fix all of our issues. He explained that there would be a cheaper option and a very expensive option to get our AC units up and working again, he knew all the parts needed to get us back up and running again. So after All the diagnostic was done we were told that we would get our diagnostic bill and as soon as it was paid, we would get a list by end of day for parts that were needed to fix our issues and quote to do the work, at the time of deposit we would also get an idea of when to schedule for them to come out and finish with repairs. Then I had to reach out to them in the middle of the next day because I still had not heard from them, they threw together a parts list that was not completed compared to what the technician had explained to us. When I responded and said that parts were missing, I was told that additional diagnostic was needed. But would not be charged additional diagnostic, Neither would any additional service call fees for any additional visits. So I reluctantly paid the deposit for parts. I was sent a receipt for parts, but no additional communication on estimated time of arrival for parts or communication on when they would possibly be out depending on parts arrival, Nothing. In my history of dealing with contractors, that's sketchy, Not hearing from them at all after paying for parts. During this time I had reached out and informed them that I had a family member pass away and was working on funeral arrangements as well as needing to travel out of state for another dire family situation so I needed them to keep up with me so I knew what was going on and keep my schedule on track. And I was met with no communication until I called and left an irate voicemail about customer service and communication, and how I felt I was being scammed out of my money. Only then did I get response on an approximation on when parts would arrive, and it would be two weeks and a day later. They were 45 minutes late for appointment, showed up, no word to my wife or myself and just switch off our power. The propane part was incorrectly installed in 15 minutes, but the original technician that came during diagnostic visit was back STILL FOCUSED ON MAKING YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR the whole 30 mins he was here. Came in, told us EXACTLY what he told us the first time, packed up and left, still with no AC and 10 minutes later I got a labor bill sent to me for $500! At this point, I had had enough with the games. I reached out again and explained that I was not paying $500 for them to be 45 minutes late for a 30 minute job where, the communication sucked, and nothing was fixed properly, was just given the same information as the diagnostic visit, and yet they still needed extra parts that we're supposed to be ordered the first time around. I went back-and-forth with their customer service representative most of the day until they got snippy and said that they would reach out to the owner to figure out what they could do.... The next day I was told that what I signed for was completed and that I would need more parts in order to finish the job where I was then sent another quote for an additional $1200 in parts and labor service call fee. The best thing that they could do for us would be to credit us an hour of labor for all of our troubles. Which I still had to go in and have them change three times because the credit wasn't added on the quote properly.... The numbers just kept going up, after the third time of correcting them I noticed they were still trying to charge that service call fee even after saying they wouldn't for additional visits. Month and half later, I have had a different technician company Fix their mess with far better communication and customer service, and confirmed the parts ordered initially for our Ac unit was not needed, and if they would have done the repairs to our third ac unit that they planned on doing it would have caused a fire because the unit was in far worse condition than they lead us to believe!

I have been looking at Vans for awhile now. I found Sunshine RV online. I sent in a request for…read moreinformation on one of their Revel's. I got a call back from Shelley, she pretty fast started sending over pictures and getting me excited about the van. Answered all my questions through out the day. I put a deposit down and did all the credit stuff. I was approved and they were going to deliver the Van, but I got a bit nervous. They are on the other side of the United States. I am in California. So I ended up flying over there because it's a lot of money and you never know. To start off Sunshine's "Cole" picked me up with in 5 mins of landing. We had a nice ride over. When I got to their property everything was clean, washed, and in order. It looked like they had control of their RV's. Some lots have everything open and it's like Disneyland for family's kids. So I was very impressed. Cole took me in and introduced me to their Revel specialist "Corey". This guy knows everything about the rig. We started from one end and touched pretty much every part of the van in a very prepared way. It seemed like he really had a game plan on how to cover it so it made sense and stayed with you. He didn't bounce around. I then sat down with "Ritchie" I think he is the finance manager. Super nice guy. He got me a great price on a top to bottom warranty. Which I almost never buy, but when it makes sense it just does. Couple small touches, they knew my daughter would be riding with my wife and I so they had already bought us the luno bed for her to have a mattress to sleep on. Then they also gave us the surge protector for the van. A bunch of starter stuff as well. My favorite is the custom coffee cup which fits perfect in the cup holder. They didn't have to do any of the extra special things but it was very much appreciated. All in all an amazing experience. I really feel we went with the best dealer. They are honest and fair and take pride in the product they sell. The Van was seriously spotless. If you have the chance to go down and meet these great people it's awesome. If for some reason you buy online and have them deliver it. You are truly in good hands. Jeff from California

If you already know for sure which manufacturer:platform that you want to buy BEFORE you visit this…read morelocation, then this is the place for you. If you are totally unsure and need all of the valuable info and opportunities to drive the vehicles to get the feel, then this place is NOT for you. I drove down from PA because they supposedly had a lot of class B's. I couldn't decide which one I wanted. I had narrowed down that I required a Mercedes for comfort, but was trying to decide the manufacturer/platform. I was told that I could only test drive one RV because all Mercedes are the same even though they are on different manufacturers/platforms. This is a huge purchase and different platforms are not all the same even if they are on a Mercedes chassis. If I wanted to drive three different platforms then you should have allowed this. I was allowed to only drive literally 4 blocks around in the area without the opportunity to see what rattles if I drive faster and longer. This is why I left and did not make my purchase with you. The only good thing is that they did have a good example of different manufactures and this is why they are receiving a 3 instead of a 1 or 2 rating from me. However, had to wait for someone to unlock though so that's time consuming. Should have unlocked in the morning, and lockup at closing.

They have no concern over issues they put in writing they would fix and they owe us a tv which we cannot even get an answer about because they will not call you back. Had we known how awful this place was we could never have taken delivery.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! GO TO ANY OTHER RVOne LOCATION BUT THIS ONE. I wish we can speak highly about…read moreour experience at RVOne in Gainesville, unfortunately, we can't. For over three years, we were dreaming of purchasing a teardrop trailer, in July of this year, we finally went to RVOne in Gainesville to buy one. Everyone on the floor was nice, the receptionist had a face but once you spoke to her, she lightened up. Once there we sat down with the finance people while the service people gets our 2020 Outback and the teardrop ready to roll. I was happy to get a $100.00 gift card for their shopping center, it's usually only $30.00, I wasn't sure if Brad gave us the $100.00 gift card because I was a veteran or something else. By the time I went out to do the walk around, the service people stated I was required to purchase close to $300.00 worth of equipment and supplies, one is a remote braking attachment that applies the brakes for your Teardrop, A DEVICE THAT COST $249.99, A DEVICE THAT I REALLY DID NOT NEED (didn't know that until we got home). Obviously, they were trying to make their money back in regards to the gift card. WE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A BETTER LOOK IN THE WALK AROUND. We were tired, it was the end of the day and we drove from Deland, FL. When we finally got the Free Solo OG home, we found a bunch of things wrong with the trailer, Solar connect was not connected correctly, right interior speaker cracking, the adapter for the water hose and sink was not compatible, scratch marks throughout the interior walls, rust stains, the Free Solo Sticker on the passenger side was place crooked. After discovering all this, on July 14, we called RVOne in Gainesville to see what we can do and maybe speak to someone in service. She placed me on hold for about a minute or two and came back to the phone and stated that everyone is busy at the moment and that if she could get my callback number so service can call me back, they never did. I called again and was placed on hold forever, I never got to speak to a service person. They make it very clear to you that they have no responsibility regarding the trailer once it rolls off their lot and if I needed to fix a defective item, I would have to go to the manufacture. What happen to the Quality Care Control Inspection or customer service? On July 18th 2022, we wrote to RVOne explaining our concerns and kindly ask to return the remote braking system and to have RVOne pay for the sink adapter I had to replaced which cost $58.14. We got no reply. We understand that these trailers are parked in Florida hot weather and things are bond to happen but this is a little too much to accept. We had planned to make the Free Solo part of us so yes I replaced all four speakers added LED's and making it more us. So we are not asking for the money we spent on the speakers, etc, we were just asking to be refunded the amount of money we spent on a defective item and for a device that I never needed in the first place. As of Aug 15, 2022, we haven't heard from them. Please save yourself from some negative aggravation and go some where else. ALL THUMBS DOWN RVOne Gainesville!
