A couple days go by and he gives the shop another call to tell them he didn't want any work done. He decided his old truck wasn't worth $4,000 worth of mods. They told him "hey that's cool, we'll just cancel your order." About a month later, my brother checks his bank account after getting notified that a $200 charge just hit his account. So Big Will - the owner, mind you - said to him while he was in the shop "if $4,000 is too much, why don't you fill out this application; it's a soft credit check that will see if you qualify for monthly payments". So my brother filled out the form - not 100% sure what happened after that, but something went wrong. At this point you might be thinking "ah, simple mistake" - that's what my brother first thought. So he called them up, and now all their friendly, helpful personas evaporated and they refused to cancel his order or refund his money. "We already ordered your stuff, so you've gotta pay for it." He refused and made sure to cancel that order with his card. So another month goes by and now the shop is blowing up his phone "we haven't gotten paid" - but they haven't done anything. So after spending quite a bit of time on the phone with the credit line he unwittingly opened, he managed to cancel the order... we still don't know if he's getting refunded the money he's already spent. I normally don't do this sorta thing, but money's been tight for my brother, this has really stressed him out and it's been painful to watch him suffer with this frustration. My takeaway? I refuse to do any business with these people, and I encourage you to avoid them likewise.

Auto ER's Negligence Cost Me Thousands in Repairs…read more If you care about your vehicle and your wallet, avoid Auto ER at all costs. Their careless mistake during a routine oil change has now cost me over $2,750 in diagnostics and repairs, and they have failed to take responsibility. On January 16, 2025, I took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to Auto ER for a simple oil change. Immediately after their service, my oil pressure warning light and check engine light (P06DD) came on--issues that were NOT present before. When I returned to Auto ER, they failed to resolve the issue, leaving me with a serious mechanical problem that they refused to take accountability for. After spending $2,750 at another repair shop, it was confirmed that Auto ER's technician failed to properly reinstall the O-ring in my oil filter housing, leaving a piece of the O-ring lodged inside my engine and causing severe oil flow issues. Despite being presented with proof of their negligence, Auto ER failed to respond by the deadline I provided, despite confirming the issue had been escalated to corporate. Key Reasons to Avoid Auto ER: - They performed an incompetent oil change that resulted in serious engine damage. - They refused to take responsibility even when presented with clear proof from another certified mechanic. - They failed to respond by the deadline after claiming corporate would address the issue. - I have now spent $2,750 in out-of-pocket costs because of their carelessness. I will be escalating this issue to the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and pursuing legal action to recover my damages. If you value your vehicle, stay far away from Auto ER. They do not stand behind their work, and their mistakes can cost you thousands in unnecessary repairs. Learn from our mistake--take your car elsewhere while it's still running. These people will leave it out of commission from something as simple as an oil change.

Thought perhaps it needed a condenser and evaporator, but was blowing cold...just not really blowing at all. Figured out all that was needed was the fan & motor (all one piece). Eric ordered that from the local dealership, sent back the other parts (Which for once, I didn't have to pay for!) and just installed it today within 5-10 minutes and it all cost less than $400, labor and parts, three visits and everything all buttoned up. Amazing! He was even willing to come to ME to install it. Couldn't ask for a kinder, more honest mechanic anywhere. You people that are going elsewhere are NUTS! He even came in last Sunday to work on it simply because it was my only day off! NOBODY does that! I'll be going back for everything from now on. Oil changes, brakes...even the little body parts for my jeep I want to change out. Best repair ever and I'm so lucky I found him! Thank you Eric!!
