After troubleshooting myself and phone calls with Apple, I still couldn't get my iPhone 6 to power on. The soonest appointment that Apple had just to look at the phone was over a week out. I stopped by Mobile Kangaroo, and they diagnosed the problem very quick (needed a new battery). There is some loophole with Apple that they couldn't get around, so they couldn't sell me a new battery...they would have had to ship the phone out to Apple, and the process would have taken about a week, so I went somewhere else to get the battery replaced the same day. Although they didn't get my business (I tried!), I was very impressed with their helpfulness, and will be back with issues with any other devices that I have. read more

Went it last week because my iphone was not holding a charge. The gentleman who helped me fixed the problem in 5 minutes. He did not even charge me because the repair was so quick and easy. Now that is customer service! I am definitely bringing my other Apple products here in the future for repairs!! read more

I ruined the sim tray on brand new Moto G the day I got it. After 5 weeks of searching for a mobile tech that would install the new part I got from Motorola and finding no one, the Santa Cruz store said the tech in Pleasanton might be able to do the v. difficult solder. I drove over on Saturday and the two guys did it! This was a repair that no other shop even wanted to attempt. Super friendly, fast service. I recently was in a huge rush to go somewhere and left my phone on the trunk of the car. I know, I know. I discovered this when I heard a loud thud and saw a small black rectangle bouncing away in the distance (on a major road, no less). I saved it, and the cellphone gods left my front screen and camera completely intact, only the back glass of the phone (Iphone) was cracked to pieces. Quick turn around, replaced at very good price (69.99 for front glass iphone 4s). Can't complain with Yelp coupon rebate ($10 for $25 value). One star less is the place need tidying up and look more professional but again I don't complain since it does the job. read more

I had my iphone 4 screen assembly replaced after an unfortunate sun screen incident. The work was fast and reasonably priced. The shop had the parts and the work was complete within a couple of hours even though they seemed to be quite busy with a weekends worth of damages. A couple of days later my earphone speaker quit so I took it back. The tech checked it out while I waited and found a speaker full of sun screen, put a new one in and gave me back the phone. Very quick and convenient service. I had an iPhone screen repaired on a Saturday in under an hour. We did have a problem with the WiFi after that so I took it back and they were able to correct the WiFi problem at no extra charge (the WiFi antenna wire came loose when they repaired the screen). I took my Galaxy S4 in to get a shattered screen fixed. Got it back and the screen was slightly lifted in the top corner. Learned shortly after that the phone wouldn't vibrate and the back button rarely worked. Then it would randomly start working and go back as many times as I had previously tried to use it, randomly closing me out of tabs and text messages. I took it back a few weeks later, the guy who helped me was really cool (couldn't remember his name) and didn't charge or anything. Unfortunately the same issues came up again but didn't really think it was worth going back. read more
