I took a basic welding class to make a barn star at the Garrison Speed Shop in Mendon,…read moreMassachusetts. I have never welded before or used some of the tools and equipment required. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !

I was very impressed with Matt and his crew when I met them up at bike week in Laconia June 2019. I…read morehad already upgraded my '18 Street Glide's sound system to a Rockford system the year earlier, but I had been wanting better sound performance. They installed an Arc amp, a dsp, and Hertz speakers in the fairing and lids, and they packed up the Rockford stuff nicely so I could sell it on eBay. The sound was improved quite a bit, but after a few weeks, I was looking for a bit more volume. I emailed Matt for suggestions, and he had me come in to switch out the fairing speakers for a different type of Hertz speakers, which did the trick. He did not charge me for the new speakers, and wouldn't even take a nickel for his time! Later last summer, I was getting some cutting out on my sound. When I brought it to Matt, he couldn't replicate the issue, so he installed a small led warning light, which could show what the issue is if it ever happened again. The cutting out thing got worse this summer, and he had me come by, even though he was buried with work, and through the sequence of the led indicator that he had installed last year, was able to easily diagnose a speaker wire that had been run incorrectly by the shop who did my old Rockford system. Matt repaired the wire in about five minutes, and ran it correctly so it would stay safe, and all was well with my system. Again, he would not take my money. This guy and this shop are incredible. In a day and age where few stand behind their work, Audiowerks deserves the five star reputation they have earned. Work with Audiowerks and you will not be disappointed.

I was told the engine would work for my bike by Sara, and I purchased the engine direct without going through eBay (big mistake). Once I received the engine, I delivered it to my mechanic who immediately pulled the spark plugs and found they were severely oil fouled. I contacted Sara and was told by owner (Bill) to run a compression test. My mechanic ran a compression test and leak down and the engine failed both tests. I contacted them and even sent video of leak down test; you could easily hear air blowing out the crankcase in the video. I was then told to prep engine for return, which I did promptly. That was early June 2024. Engine sat in my driveway awaiting freight carrier and now its end of September. I kept calling and leaving messages over several months and nobody returned my calls. In my last brief conversation with Sara in August 2024, she told me they have been trying to switch freight carriers and this is why nobody has been in touch. It's been more than a month since my last conversation and I have tried to call them several more times with no response. Engine is now at the junk yard where it belongs.
