Have serviced 4 and purchased 3 bikes over the last 9 years from moms Manchester. THey do make mistakes. Suggestion check invoice carefully before paying. Check actual work performed. If problems the management and some employees have been very good at resolving issues. During Covid and during Moms rapid expansion it appears to me that it has created internal problems within. My Son bought an Indian Scout there, lost the one key they gave him. Called and spoke to Brandon, super helpful. Was told the key code would be on the bill of sale and it would be easy to make a key with the code, it was not. Pulled the ignition and brought it to Moms to see what they could do, saw some guy in parts who was basically NO help. Bought a key blank for $32!!! ( $10 on Amazon ) so I could get a locksmith to make a key. In addition they set him up with some credit card financing at 26% interest, how does that even happen? I saw a used ATV for sale on the website. I communicated several times with the sales department and was told the lowest price they would accept. I went into the store, had my trade-in evaluated and wasted an entire hour. They came back and said they had to add $300 for a doc prep fee. Second time here for service. First time was an oil change. This time for a tire install and a sticker. No complaints. I returned a couple of weeks later and purchased a new ATV from them. I worked with Ken in finance and Paul in sales. Again, I have no complaints. I use to buy and service at Derry cycle. My loyalty to them for 4 plus years meant nothing to them. Use to be for a inspection sticker you could just get a quick visit and done, its now a service workorder and wait. The parts department is still good, and the bike sales is ok. I just had an on-line transaction (via eBay) with this dealer go south with no good reason! These 'clowns' took my order, took my money, gave me a ship date, and then cancelled my order 6 days later! I was ordering an Indian jacket for a Vet (disabled, sadly) as a welcome gift (from rehab) as a surprise. These guys at the dealer 'claimed' to have searched others dealers to fill the order but could not. After getting the cancellation email (and refund) I went on line and bought the jacket at another dealer in AZ. No thanks or help from MOMs!!! read more

I'm sort of surprised that I haven't reviewed this yet... Okay, if you've looked around Boston for a motorbike, you will notice something fast. GBMS, Riverside, and a bunch of the other cycle shops are owned by the same group. This group sucks in so many ways, that I'll just highlight a view choice issue:. bullshit add-on charges, bad service, and a not so friendly attitude. So, go to Mom's. No pressure Sales, good accessories department, and they sell a variety of new and used bikes at great prices. They let you test ride, too. I just saw a new Suzuki that I've been ogling for almost $1,500 less than other other places are selling it for. And there's no bullshit "Administrative" Fee here. Money Fairy, hit me up....Pleeeze? Mom's has most cycle brands in the house. Ducati? Harley? Victory? Of course, they have Hondas, Kawasaki's, and Suzuki's, too. Sometimes they get in some wicked older bikes, too. Sometimes they get some hilarious bikes in, too. I just peeped a Purple and White Gold Wing, decked out in American Eagles. It was awesomely tacky. They have complimentary coffee and donuts and popcorn, too. Good, because I get peckish. read more

I purchased a used Harley here a couple years ago and the experience is a complete 180 from what I experience in the average Harley Davidson branded stores. Buying anything Motorcycle related can be tough. Yes, all places will help you pull out your wallet, but, they don't care what you buy, only that YOU BUY! MoM's is different, they want to know: how long you've been riding, how you ride, where you ride, what your budget is, etc... Also, as riders themselves, they know what works and what doesn't- which is a real lifesaver all of the time. Buying a bike or gear should be fun too. Like a good bar, they should remember your name when you go in- even if you haven't been there in a while. Finally, you should be treated well- even if they are making fun of your bike. Well, MoM's has the best prices: new & used for bikes, and, for gear as well. Also, some gear sounds great, but, doesn't actually work the way it's made out too. MoM's will steer you clear of those things, and, direct you to what DOES work. Although it's a very big operation, it's really very personal. They seem to know everyone, and, only help when asked. You wanna stare at the pretty bikes? Don't worry, they get it! You're finally ready to pull the trigger on that used bike, but, want to trim the fat out of the deal? If there's room- they'll move, but, if not- they'll show you why not, take ego out of the deal and still try to make it happen in your favor. Really. Everyone rides, and, everyone is super knowledgeable, but, no one is afraid to admit to not knowing an awnser either. Great service operation, less expensive than other stores by far, and, everyone will go out of their way to make things work right for you and your budget. I recommend MoM's to every rider looking for anything motorcycle related, but, they are so good that they aren't exactly a secret. It's nice to be able to say great things about a place, without worry that someone will have a bad experience. I've done business there for years, and, never had a hiccup. Service has been outstanding - I even did a 'project bike' over the winter with MoM's- on a budget! As a new rider, they kept me on track, really kept me from making a couple of mistakes, put me in the right gear for my needs and (moderate) budget, and, helped me with bike recommendations. Hey, they even let me buy the wrong bike- on my own- and never once said "I told you so!" but, was right by my side when I realized that I got in over my head and helped me out with a better choice. MoM's is like having a friend "in the business" for everyone who walks through their doors. That is great for the new rider and the seasoned rider alike. Always fair, very honest, they are in business to make a profit. But, they don't need to make their year on any one customer, and, if something goes wrong they take care of it right away, without excuses, fair and square. MoM''s always finda a way to help a fellow rider. Those attributes put them head and shoulders above the competition. On more than 1 occasion, I seen service techs stay late for a customer with an emergency. And, more than once, I've had to be met early, before store hours, for a bike swap. No problem. They are truly service focused and deserve the awesome reputation they have built as the best place to do anything motorcycle in New England. read more

MOMs Sold me an "inspected" bike with a busted headlight wiring last year. I didn't know anything about bikes at the time. Went in this year for an inspection and they charged me $150 to fix it. Not to mention I overpaid when I bought the bike at their "dealer" markup. I wouldn't recommend buying from MOM's unless you want to overpay or get screwed. PS You need to bring your own lube or they'll overcharge you. read more

If there was an option to give zero stars, this business would definitely get zero. I brought my Hyosung GT 250 R that I bought brand new from these people out of the crate for a service. After two weeks of them having my bike, they call and state that the part that they needed to fix my bike was on back order and they would not have it for at least six months and I had two options: Trade the bike in or get my bike out of their shop ASAP. It's funny I was able to contact the manufacturer directly and get the parts that I needed in four days! It seems to me the employees of motorcycles of Manchester are a bunch of Lazy morons who just proved that if you want something done right you let a woman take care of it, losers! So not only did they get zero dollars out of me for the diagnostic work and everything else they had done to prepare the bike for the new part, but now they're getting a bad review and I'm giving my business to someone else because I wouldn't let them touch my bike ever again, even if it was my last option on earth. I would rather set it on fire and get a new one then let these scumbags ever get my business again! Take my word for it, do not ever bring your bike to these morons and definitely don't ever buy a bike from them because it seems as though they like to sell you a bike that they don't have the ability to get parts for or fix. Seems very shady and unethical practice to me. How's it feel to know that some girl who just rides a bike; Has no knowledge on how to fix the bike or what is needed to be fixed but was able to do the job that all you men are trained for and couldn't even perform, a bunch of pathetic bitch's if you ask me. Went in looking to complete my toy collection with an all-new Yamaha MT-10. Threw an email to MOMs and Michael Curreri got back to me very quickly. His no pressure sales approach was refreshing and his knowledge of the Yamaha Brand was impressive, as he is most known for his work with Indian cycles (the 'other' half of the MOMs Yamaha/ Indian dealership). We set up a time to walk around the shop that week. He was able to talk to me about the bike and inquired about overall use-case, drivability, and general interest. I mentioned I wanted something with torque, hence the MT line (Maters of Torque), but wouldn't be racing it and didn't need/ want to pay extra for all the bells and whistles that many bikes come with today, as I like to ride bikes that are a bit more aggressive, less tech-dependent, and naturally gritty. We walked through the MT line and eventually ended at the MT-09, a comparable bike to the MT-10, with a more wallet-friendly price tag. Mike was a super-friendly, confident, and well-established rider who took into consideration my desires on looks, feel, and overall use case. After hearing my responses to his questions, he was the first to admit there wasn't much value to the MT-10, relative to price, that I wouldn't get from the cheaper MT-09. He then shifted gears and explained the features and specs of the 09 model, which solidified my decision. Had he not noted his recommendation, based on my original response, I would have paid for features I didn't need and would never use, on a bike that was way more motor than I needed, that came at a higher cost. Honesty means a lot to me, from that point I was sold. Michael then took care of everything. He got me set up with info I needed for insurance on the spot, got my financing taken care of immediately with his team members (while sharing some laughs over his most-recent road trip from NH to Florida) and had everything set to go soon after. On pickup day he went over the ins-and-outs of the new ride with me and introduced me to the head of sales, head of accessories, and head of maintenance, so I knew who to ask for when I calling in the future. Overall this was the purchase of my 6th motorcycle, and it was, by far, the smoothest, refined, and most enjoyable of them all. 1st lie: Drop your bike off. You have an appointment. Only halfway true. They hadn't bothered to order the parts. Why the hell you'd ask somebody to drop off the bike when you're not ready to work on it, I can't imagine. 2nd lie: It will be ready Thursday. 3rd lie: It will be ready Friday. 4th lie: Saturday. Which is great since I let them know in advance I can't come get it on a Saturday. 5th lie?: On Day 7. "Can you come in right before closing? I had a mechanic not show up today and we're behind. I'll try to get someone on it." Now I don't know if this is 1 lie or 2. Could be zero. Doesn't matter. It's still abusive as hell. There are two things I can't do on my bike; inspection sticker (That's the law.) and tire install (The rig is expensive and large. Who needs it?). And dishonest abusive bullshit like this is why people like me learn to do everything else. I needed a tire put on. That's 30 minutes work. And they kept it 8 days. Go somewhere else. read more

If you want to overpay for a motorcycle, you've come to the right place. Quote from the salesman when told that the NADA value of the bike I was interested in purchasing was lower than the salesprice - "You can just throw that book out." This bike had over 20,000 miles on it already and was nearly 10 years old, with a missing brake light covering and other flaws and they wouldn't even budge. 4 months later, the same bike is still on their site waiting for some sucker to come and purchase it. Every bike at this place is overpriced and don't believe them when they've told you they've gone over the bike thoroughly before putting it up for sale. Guarantee they have not. Purchased another from them before trying this latest purchase and immediately on the road, it was clear, the clutch was completely gone - couldn't get it into neutral after it warmed up to save my life (literally). Any sane mechanic would have picked this out immediately and required it be fixed before sale. Luckily, their 'warrantee' kicked in and they had to eat the $800 it cost to replace it completely. Guess they were just hoping someone wouldn't notice I guess. Yup, overpaid for that one - so, my mistake. You are 100% better off with a private sale. Know what the bike is worth and what an insurance company would find to be it's value and don't pay a penny more. Then take it to a reputable mechanic (KT Cycles, Twisted Cycles, RPM in Nashua) to check it out. Just know, you buy a bike from this place and you are guaranteed paying too much for it and I guarantee that there will be problems down the road. read more

I must have spoken to 4 of the guys that work there. they all asked if I needed help as I walked around, answered my questions and did not pressure me. I learned about their rental program and plan to rent a few bikes from them. I have a Kawasaki but want to try out some others before I buy something different. One of the worst Motorcycle repair places ever, Tires on my bike were 4 months old (Dunlop), Mechanic said they were under the wear limit, What a joke. They said: We can replace for $575.00 are you kidding me? If you need business please treat riders with respect and not like an open wallet, maybe a beginner would fall for the trick. Ok I'm not one for trashing on local business, but people stay clear from motorcycles of Manchester MOMS... They tried to rip me off today. Brought my bike in for a new front tire and even though I don't need it until July a state inspection while i was there. The mechanic comes out and tells me i have bad fork seals, the same ones i replaced last fall maybe 2000 miles on them. I said ill replace them and come back but i noted to the mechanic they where fine when i left my house its kinda funny there's that much oil on the fork now. I wipe off the oil and for for a 50+ mile ride come home and the forks are bone dry. Being a former pump/hydraulic mechanic compression seals don't just stop or leaking or fix themselves BTW. The mechanic covered my fork in oil and tried to sell me new fork seals..... Assholes. When they noticed how skeptical I was on the mechanics word I wasn't charged for the Inspection. read more

Bought a bike from them in March at the bike show. After riding less then 500 miles computer fried on the bike. They told me bike had a 30 day guarantee but the bike was in storage for over 30 days because I bought it in the winter season. Called dealer was told i can bring bike in for service but they will not give me a break on any repairs not happy with dealership I guess the lesson i learned is not to buy a bike in the winter read more

Bought my ATV there six months ago. Went in last week because they wheel fell apart, nothing broken, just came apart. I was traveling downhill at under 15 mph. Service person comes out and starts spouting off all the things that were wrong with it....I tell him he is out of his mind because nothing is broken. Mechanic comes over and says it's only a few nuts and bolts, just fell apart. They call me a few days later to tell me I bent my drive shaft (less than a 1000 miles, under warranty). I don't believe them and do not get it fixed. I am selling my ATV because I feel like I am always going to screwed when I need service ESP there. Recently called around for another opinion n have to pay 85 dollars for someone to look at it...... Was fun while it lasted. read more

Just brought my bike to MOMs. Told me I needed rear brake pads so I had them change them. Well they left the inside rear pad off and now I have to replace the calipers, pad and disc. Thank God the bike didn't lock up on the highway on the way home. I, my family, have purchased 4 bikes over the last 3 years from Moms and I am very disappointed. Today I will call and ask for them to get me a new caliper, pads and disc. I'll repost to let you all now if they bone up. read more

The service department at this place is a joke! I initially brought my bike here to have it checked out and fixed. When I dropped it off I told the service manager Anthony to have them check it out and tell me what it needed. He called me later and told me that it was going to need about $1000 worth of repairs to make run good and he said, "it would be good for at least a couple years. We agreed on a price of $900 for all the work he described. I went to pick up the bike a week later. The bike stalled out 2 times in front of the mechanic. He then suggested that I take it around the block. I did and it stalled out twice in the short trip. I left the bike there so they could get it right. A week later they said it was ready again. I picked up the bike and brought it home. a couple days later I got a chance to take it out and put about 70 miles on it before it died and backfired when I tried to restart it. I called and dropped it back off. Anthony apologized and said that they would give me a loaner. He lied!! I asked about it and he said that the rental bikes weren't registered. My bike was there for another week. I picked it up again! this time the bike was spraying oil all over my back tire. I brought it back again. A week later I picked it up. It was still spraying oil and was leaking from the primary. At this point I refuse to let these people touch my Harley again. This place does shotty work and have no clue. I told Anthony last time I talked to him that I wanted the GM to call and talk to me. I never received a call. I called twice asking for him and was told he wasn't in both times by a woman that answered the phone. I held up my end of the deal and paid them. They couldn't hold up their end of the deal and fix my bike. I'm seriously considering a suit in small claims court. read more
