I was very impressed with Matt and his crew when I met them up at bike week in Laconia June 2019. I had already upgraded my '18 Street Glide's sound system to a Rockford system the year earlier, but I had been wanting better sound performance. They installed an Arc amp, a dsp, and Hertz speakers in the fairing and lids, and they packed up the Rockford stuff nicely so I could sell it on eBay. The sound was improved quite a bit, but after a few weeks, I was looking for a bit more volume. I emailed Matt for suggestions, and he had me come in to switch out the fairing speakers for a different type of Hertz speakers, which did the trick. He did not charge me for the new speakers, and wouldn't even take a nickel for his time! Later last summer, I was getting some cutting out on my sound. When I brought it to Matt, he couldn't replicate the issue, so he installed a small led warning light, which could show what the issue is if it ever happened again. The cutting out thing got worse this summer, and he had me come by, even though he was buried with work, and through the sequence of the led indicator that he had installed last year, was able to easily diagnose a speaker wire that had been run incorrectly by the shop who did my old Rockford system. Matt repaired the wire in about five minutes, and ran it correctly so it would stay safe, and all was well with my system. Again, he would not take my money. This guy and this shop are incredible. So someone reached out to me about my review. So maybe there was a misunderstanding. I'll leave up my original review but I'll update the stars since someone took the time to reach out to me. So I wanted to get a remote starter before winter hit on my new car. Made the appointment no problems. Dropped off the car at 9 am when they opened. They told me to call at noon to see if it was done. I did that and it was done, great. I go with hubby to pick up my car. I go in. No one comes to greet me. I wait, I wait a good 5 min before calling out hello twice. A man comes out and says what do you want. I tell him I'm here to get my car. I pay. I ask how this remote stater works. He shows me. Cool. I think the people working in the shop need to be listening for customers coming in. They had one of those chime bells for when some one enters but they did not come out. The guy was a bit rude when I tried to get there attention after no one came out. read more

Highly recommend Matt Shay and his crew at Audiowerks. I recently had a checklist of work to be completed on my bagger and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Professionally - You will not find better work. I am thrilled at the work that was done on my bike. The overhaul of the sound system on my bike came out better than I could have expected and it sounds amazing! It is loud and clear and I will never again struggle with enjoying my favorite playlist while cruising on my bike, regardless if i'm on the back roads or highways! It didn't stop with the audio work, Matt and his crew installed a sissy bar so my son will feel safe riding with me. Added red LED lights that look great at night and pop with the color of the bike. Relocated the switch for my air ride suspension and installed a pressure gauge into the instrument cluster to make the finished look perfect. The new LED headlamp and directions look add great finishing touches that fit the look of the bike perfectly. My bike left there looking and sounding better than ever before and I couldn't be happier. Personally/Customer Service - The quality work and craftsmanship was one thing, what I didn't expect was the above and beyond level of service I received from Matt personally. I first met Matt earlier this year when he came to my house to troubleshoot why my air ride suspension wasn't working and I couldn't raise the back of the bike off of the ground. Turns out to be a simple fuse fix and Matt wouldn't let me pay him for the visit. Then yesterday Matt agreed to stay late after hours to accommodate my busy work schedule so that I could pick up my finished bike. On the way to his shop we blew out a tire on road construction that was being done down the street. Matt helped me change the tire (I was in a suit from work) loaned us a spare to avoid a tow to NTB and the extra expense, then followed us there to make sure the car made it and to save us a return trip to bring back the spare tired he lent us. All of this after hours and cutting into his time with his family. I won't be taking my bike, truck, or cars anywhere else but to Matt at Audiowerks. That kind of customer service is very rare these days, and it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. Matt won a loyal customer for life through his exceptional service and quality of work.
