These guys are great! I walked in with no appointment two days before Christmas asking for an oil change a headlight to be replaced and directional signal fixed no problem. They said they'll take great care of it. I got a phone call while I was at home waiting they noticed my serpentine belt was ready to go all dried and cracked. This is my fault. I had let that go and totally forgot about it. They replaced it. check the tensioners and pulleys to make sure they were OK and charged me reasonable money for all services rendered I have a new garage merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. read more

Been using Towne Line for years. Great. Service, reasonable prices, helpful. I've been there from oil changes to much harder stuff. Fully recommended. read more

Jimmy, Mike and the crew do a fantastic job at reasonable prices. I have been taking our cars there for well over a decade, and as we are "run'em till they die" folks, we see them regularly! read more

we are a busy service company, and its hard to find good garages to fix issues with our vans and trucks. They are great here, very respectful, they are telling us what is wrong and its going to cost so much to fix and they have great prices. The turn around is great! Thanks!! read more

These guys do great honest work. Highly recommend.

Until last week, I trusted these guys completely. Brought in my "new" used car for a noise complaint. Returned to me with a $2300 bill. Noise issue still there. Brought it back. Noise issue still persists. Have a new catalytic converter and pipe (which they had to adapt to fit) but was never contacted about the cost or extent of repairs. (They said I never would have passed inspection upcoming this July. That is now moot.) Am still in shock. And it was pointed out that I still need a muffler! Stay away if you're a senior and/or a woman. I was literally taken for a (noisy) ride. read more

Bill and Jim are fantastic. I've been a regular customer since I moved to Lowell 5 years ago. Both of them go out of their way to make sure your car is running well. They offer pickup and dropoff if you need and are always honest and upfront with what service your car needs. You can tell that customer service is very important to them. I cannot recommend this business any more highly. read more

They seem to do honest work here. I came in for a custom repair on my car and was quoted for $300-$375. They did the job same day even though it was busy for them. Came in and they said they were actually able to get the price down to $275. They even explained everything they did to my car. Great service, great price. read more

Great work, honest business. What more can you ask for. Treated me like a regular from day one.

Shady business being done at this place, my fiancée decided to come in to get his back brakes done and a oil change. They quoted him $641 to replace his right back passenger side rotor, caliper, and both back brakes. After he paid hours later he realized his oil sticker was never replaced nor was his oil percentage reset. He checked his oil to find out there was no oil in his car. When he calls Jim Charlton the shop manager tells him there was "some miscommunication with the technician yesterday to come in and they'll change the oil". After he goes in, he realizes only one side of his back brakes was replaced and worked on. He told me he'd just find a new mechanic from now on and won't use Towne Line. I told him to leave a negative google review but said he'd rather just stop doing business with them. I don't think what they did to him was fair nor were they transparent about only working on one brake pad after telling him they'd do his back brakes as a set. I will continue to speak to others in the community about what they did to him, and let's see how much more business they receive after this. We will be reaching out to the Lowell Sun and BBB. read more

Towne Line Tire - Tires Near Me - Lowell, Massachusetts

Awesome garage where I know I can always trust the people working on my car and always at a fair price. Bill always gives me an honest opinion and keeps me in the loop as to what my car may or may not need. read more

Wow, As a woman who knows very little about cars and car repairs, I was very happy when someone recommend these guys to me !! Jim and Mike in the office were great to deal with, told me exactly what needed to be done and what could wait ! I was in and out quickly and at the price that was quoted! Will be back and Thanks for the great service! read more

Bill and Jimmy at Towne Line are the best! They always tell me exactly what my car needs immediately and what can wait, and they are always trying to find ways to save me money (a pretty rare trait to find in an auto mechanic!) Yesterday I hit a huge pothole and my car suddenly got LOUD. Today I brought it in and they found that one of the pipes in my exhaust system had come loose. Instead of telling me I had to replace the whole system, which I think many mechanics would have, and which would have cost over $600, they were able to simply fix the piece of pipe that had broken. After only a couple hours and $150, I had my car back as good as new. This is the only place I will ever bring my car! read more

Towne Line Tire & Automotive Center has been servicing my automobiles since I moved to Lowell in 2003. The owner, Bill Bump, and his crew have always provided fast, reliable service. This is the only auto repair place I've ever been that I totally trust to recommend only what needs to be fixed, no exaggerating, no ripoff. And, they always take time to explain what needs to be repaired and why. Highly recommended. read more

An honest mechanic. Nuff said. I went here after getting ripped off by another one of the chain stores for the last time. The chains may advertise the lowest price but then the tell you that you need a lot of work that you dont need, specifically struts (ntb) or rotors (mineke). Bill is honest and you can trust him to do a good job. read more

What nice guys they are. I needed a new tire, which they ordered for me and put on the next morning when it arrived. They also answered my questions, and treated me really courteously. read more

Bill who works here is a great guy! He's very fair priced and helpful. He diagnosed a few things wrong with my car that I just bought. He printed up papers and helped me to get it fixed paid from the person I got it from. He works quick and sufficiently! I would 100% recommend this shop and Bill. read more

Honest, reliable and dependable. I have been going here for a decade....and STILL use them even though I have moved to Medford. I went in the other day and asked him what he thought about me getting a performance car and he said, "It'll cost you too much to mantain and repair," and gave me a list of cars that are cheaper to maintain and repair. Can you get any more honest than that? They can be more expensive than most, but you get what you pay for. read more

Bill and Jimmy are great guys and even better at getting your car fixed. When you go to a mechanic you think I must be crazy this will cost me an arm and a leg. Well the crew at Towne line tire was very easy to work with and helped me get back on the road many times with 3 different vehicles. They always do my oil changed and other general maintenance. Go see the Automotive Genius! read more

After a pretty big mistake done on my wife's car... I would give you 10 stars for what you did to fix the problem! Thank you Bill! You are a great business owner! read more

Finally I found a reliable and trustworthy place for auto service that charges fair prices! After recently being referred to Towne Line by another auto mechanic (good sign), I've had two of my cars serviced here and both cars were serviced professionally and the services were explained to me in all the detail I wanted. I didn't get the feeling that I was getting sold on services I didn't need which was comforting. Both Bill and Jim earned my business for all 4 of my cars going forward! My only wish for improvement would be to stay open a little later in the evening and maybe have Saturday service hours which is a big help to those of us that work M-F from 8 to 6 pm. read more

Did what I wanted done and kept me informed with all the work they were doing. First time there and won't be my last. Great costumer service and honest guys there! read more

Woke up to find a screw in my tire. Called Town Line Tire and they had me bring my vehicle over and had it fixed the same day. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend this place. read more

These guys really helped me out in a jiffy when I got a flat late in the day. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. Their cost on tires were very reasonable and I was in a desperate situation. I appreciated their quick and honest service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back here again. read more

Great place to get tires.... In and out of there in a few minutes every time. I don't miss valuable time in my work day because they are so quick. Truck runs smoother than ever..... read more

My wife took her car to the dealer for service, after telling her she needed brake pads, & rotars, she called me and asked me what to do. I told her to tell them no. I took her car to Towne Line Tire, who I have used for my car for years. After inspecting the car I did not need anything done to the brakes. The pads and rotars where fine. Bill & Jim do a great job and are honest and are not going to try and sell you something you don't need. read more
