And they weren't wrong! I walked in to see if they could squeeze me in. There was a line with one person behind the desk on the phone. He kept talking and talking and talking, to the point where I was almost feeling frustrated that he was making us wait so long. But then, I listened to the conversation. He was speaking with the customer on the phone about what was wrong with their vehicle, going over best and worst case scenarios, and working with them to choose the best plan for taking action. He was incredibly patient, taking time to really explain what was going on, not just throwing car jargon at them and rushing to serve the next person in line. Realizing this, I was happy to wait, because I knew that if I were having a problem with my vehicle I would need someone to take the time to really help me, not just find ways to make money off me. This is when I knew I had chosen the right place. Getting the oil change and inspection went incredibly smooth. Everyone was friendly and respectful. My bill was a little higher than I expected, but I trusted the work that they did on the vehicle. This wasn't enough to get me to write a review for them though. A week later, I heard water and a sand like noise sloshing around in my vehicle. WHAT?? I was going out of town that same day and frantically called 30 min before they closed not knowing what to do and even if the car was safe to drive. My man at the counter, said to bring it over, never promised me that they could fix the problem, since they were closing, but said he'd look at it to see if it was safe to drive. Quickly his technician took it for a spin, knew what was wrong and was able to fix it. They explained what had happened, even taking me out to the vehicle to show me. They came in clutch as I was panicking during the holiday weekend with a car that wouldn't start consistently even though it's newer and regularly serviced at the dealership. All getting worse as I was preparing for the return drive from MA to VA in Thanksgiving traffic. I thought for sure we were doomed to get stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead car. Dealerships were slim staffed so no one could help but one suggested checking out a quicklane service and I'm glad they did. We popped over to this one as the closest one. As we arrive, I started wondering if it was the best option and saw they had 2.5 stars on yelp. Definitely had concerns but we decided to try and I'm glad we did. I had my partner run in so I could keep the car on in case they couldn't help and they came out to the car with him to see what was wrong. We were then asked to pull up after they decided they could help us and had a clear action plan. They worked quickly and together to juggle the existing customers with us and set us up to test our battery and promptly told us we definitely needed a new battery and not an alternator. Thank the holiday turkeys! These guys were patient in answering my questions as I wanted to understand my options and what things meant and assuring us they would help jump us if they couldn't fix the issue and the car wouldn't restart. The battery cost seemed comparable to other online costs so at least we were not getting ripped off as far as I could tell (not very far tbh). The whole process probably took less than 30min or even 20min. We were back on the road shortly after and my cat was starting back up as normal at the next rest stop. Anyways, I'll still take my car into confirm nothing else is going on but I think they fixed it and were really friendly about it. I know the other reviews were not great but my recent experience is definitely 5 stars for these guys. Thanks for saving us!

So I tell the mechanic about what was going on with the car and he tells me he knows what's wrong it's a battery, and needs spark plugs? Ok. Wants full payment up front. Ok. I also got used tires from him and paid cash for them. So he doesn't give me a estimate or anything and just does the work which took about a month to complete after I paid him in full first. Now I'm thinking he definitely did a diagnosis test to it first that told him it was the battery and plugs that was causing the issues right. I get the car back had it for 1 hour it broke down 3 times same issue and I finally get it back to him and he says well now I got to put the computer on it to see what the problem is and I said why didn't u do that first like your supposed to. He said I thought I knew what it was and goes to tell me the computer says it's running rich and he wants another 300.00 to do a smog test to find out the issue. Now he already charged me around 1200.00 for the prior work that he guessed at doesn't other a refund for putting parts I didn't need in my car and know wants to charge me more and it's just to see the issues with it. So I got upset this is 2 months now dealing with the back and forth then when I wanted a refund he told me if I'm not going to pay more money to fix it then he's charging me 35.00 a day for storage fees. Which is just not right. I paid him my card not fixed and he's now he won't give my car back to me. Even after he's paid for the wrong work done to my car. I'm in the middle of getting lawyers involved. He pretends to care about you until he gets paid and then he just tries to get as much money as he can out of you. Please don't not allow him to steal your car like he's trying to do from me. I can't work because of this mess he's doing to me. Please stay away from this place there scam artist. Thank you

Words aren't enough to describe how great Zeus is…read more When we lived in the area, we had struggled to find a decent mechanic. I know very little about cars -- but enough to price compare, and to understand what my mechanic is telling me or how to research it myself. Zeus has been a godsend that we've continued to travel to years after moving much closer to Boston. He takes pride in his work, and it shows! Most recently, our aging Mazda was making a grinding noise when braking (and/or slowing below 20mph). But the noise was not always present. We dropped the car off on a crazy Saturday morning -- and within an hour, got a call that it was all set and we could swing back in. They had done the oil change, but didn't have time for the "repair" needed for the noise. That said -- it was just gunk built up because the car sits around unused most of the time. He took pictures to show us, explained why it happened, why we hear the noise, and a few ways to help it prior to coming back in for a repair. When I asked for the repair price, expecting the worst -- I was dumbfounded. I don't know how he does it, but prices are always well below every mechanic we've been to. He doesn't push unnecessary work, loves explaining everything -- and makes sure you truly understand. Unless we no longer own cars, or move hours away, we'll continue to look to Zeus as our one-stop shop for anything car related.

My vehicle was left in their care from Thursday 22 until Wednesday 28, when I got it back at a plaza public parking lot, I noticed a scratch on my car. As soon as I arrived home and noticed the damage, I immediately told my husband to returned to address the issue. Rather than taking the time to investigate what happened, the owner immediately denied responsibility and claimed the scratch was already there because when he tried to wipe it off apparently it could not be removed (some of it did remove). When I called him, he of course got defensive and started yelling about how the scratch was already there and he tried to remove it, he couldn't. I was disappointed by the lack of willingness to look into the situation. I understand that accidents can happen, but what matters is how a business handles a customer's concerns. As a family own small business, where customer care and referrals matter, I was not expecting this behavior from him. But upon speaking with some of the friends we've sent to him over the years, they all had negative things to say.. one of them recently went there and said they forced a Volvo part into her Honda smh. I'm Pretty sure the positive ones are fakes. I wouldn't be surprise. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to thoroughly document their vehicle's condition before leaving it in this business's care.
