They clearly explained the work needed..in my case a ck engine light was flashing on my daughters 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and while suspecting the catalytic converter they suggested a tuneup first hoping that would solve the problem w/o having to replace the converter. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.

They came in clutch as I was panicking during the holiday weekend with a car that wouldn't start consistently even though it's newer and regularly serviced at the dealership. All getting worse as I was preparing for the return drive from MA to VA in Thanksgiving traffic. I thought for sure we were doomed to get stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead car. Dealerships were slim staffed so no one could help but one suggested checking out a quicklane service and I'm glad they did. We popped over to this one as the closest one. As we arrive, I started wondering if it was the best option and saw they had 2.5 stars on yelp. Definitely had concerns but we decided to try and I'm glad we did. I had my partner run in so I could keep the car on in case they couldn't help and they came out to the car with him to see what was wrong. We were then asked to pull up after they decided they could help us and had a clear action plan. They worked quickly and together to juggle the existing customers with us and set us up to test our battery and promptly told us we definitely needed a new battery and not an alternator. Thank the holiday turkeys! These guys were patient in answering my questions as I wanted to understand my options and what things meant and assuring us they would help jump us if they couldn't fix the issue and the car wouldn't restart. The battery cost seemed comparable to other online costs so at least we were not getting ripped off as far as I could tell (not very far tbh). The whole process probably took less than 30min or even 20min. We were back on the road shortly after and my cat was starting back up as normal at the next rest stop. Anyways, I'll still take my car into confirm nothing else is going on but I think they fixed it and were really friendly about it. I know the other reviews were not great but my recent experience is definitely 5 stars for these guys. Thanks for saving us!

Words aren't enough to describe how great Zeus is…read more When we lived in the area, we had struggled to find a decent mechanic. I know very little about cars -- but enough to price compare, and to understand what my mechanic is telling me or how to research it myself. Zeus has been a godsend that we've continued to travel to years after moving much closer to Boston. He takes pride in his work, and it shows! Most recently, our aging Mazda was making a grinding noise when braking (and/or slowing below 20mph). But the noise was not always present. We dropped the car off on a crazy Saturday morning -- and within an hour, got a call that it was all set and we could swing back in. They had done the oil change, but didn't have time for the "repair" needed for the noise. That said -- it was just gunk built up because the car sits around unused most of the time. He took pictures to show us, explained why it happened, why we hear the noise, and a few ways to help it prior to coming back in for a repair. When I asked for the repair price, expecting the worst -- I was dumbfounded. I don't know how he does it, but prices are always well below every mechanic we've been to. He doesn't push unnecessary work, loves explaining everything -- and makes sure you truly understand. Unless we no longer own cars, or move hours away, we'll continue to look to Zeus as our one-stop shop for anything car related.
