if I could leave zero stars I would. I have a brand new 2023 Honda only has had two oil changes done and both were done here. there was oil all over the undercarridge of my car and the oil filter was more than extremely loose. Whoever did this clearly had no idea what they're doing. But for what I paid it was only a couple of dollars more to have it done by Mobil one. There competitor charges me a substantial amount more for a service that I usually need to double check. Not sure what to think. I've been here 3 times. First 2 times, no problem. Good, fast service. Today, I got the same package that I got the other 2 times, but this time they tell me (on the sticker and paperwork) that service will be due in 3k instead of the 7k before. I get home and look up the oil type (super synthetic 020) and mobil summarizes the product as good for 7,500 miles. So, why are they telling me it's good for half that? I can guess why and I'm really disappointed. I thought the place was honest but apparently they are not above lying in order to double their business. read more

They failed to tighten my car's oil plug completely and several weeks later it came out while I was driving across the country. The towing, repair, and delays in my travel ended up costing a few hundred dollars but it could have been much much worse. I was sick of spending 2 hours at the dealer to get my oil changed, so finally decided to try a quick oil change place. Went to a different spot down the road and my car bottomed out trying to get it in, so I had to leave (my car is really not that low to the ground), so decided to try Mobil 1 Lube Express instead. I was glad I did! I pulled up only a few minutes before their stated closing time, but they took me in anyway (and someone behind me too). I was really appreciative of that. You don't wait in your car here like you do at other places. They have you get out, drive your car into the bay for you, and you go into the waiting room. There is a nice leather couch and several chairs, 2 tvs, and a wide selection of magazines. The waiting room is super clean and smells good! It smelled like Yankee Candle Sun and Sand. I spent only about 10 - 15 minutes in that waiting room though, they had my car done very quickly. They do an inspection of your car, top off your fluids, put air in your tires, the works. A basic oil change is $29.99 plus disposal fee and tax. Quick, easy and not too expensive...an overall win for me! I will definitely be back. read more

My husband went last night for an oil change and a headlight bulb replacement. He kept texting me saying "they are having trouble with the headlight ill be home soon" when he got home he said it was all set. this morning when he left for work the HEADLIGHT WAS NOT SECURED TO THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHATEVER PROBLEM THEY HAD, THEY BROKE THE TAB THAT HOLDS IT IN PLACE, AND JUST SENT HIM ON HIS WAY WITHOUT TELLING HIM! It fell out of the car. the headlight whole thing popped out. my husband said they asked him "was this car in an accident?" No, he told them it wasn't, why? "oh just wondering." so, now that we know why they asked that, it means they KNEW they broke it and didn't tell him. it was not in any accident, they broke the tab - i looked in and you can see the freshly broken plastic pieces that broke off last night! Currently the best along Washington Street, not pushing wipers and air filters like others. No long wait, only 2 techs, but moved vehicles in and out. Will use again, prices not to bad. Bought an air filter for 19.99 which is 15.99 up the street at Advance Auto. Knew we needed it and was worth the extra cost to have it done. read more

I pulled into the Mobil Lube Express parking area today about 4:45 pm today intending to go inside to see about making an appointment to get oil changes for my two BMW's. I didn't make it out of my car when one of the Mobil 1 Lube Express employees, came up in a car directly in front of me. He started yelling at me that I came into the parking area in the wrong direction and to look at the "painted arrows" on the driveway. I had pulled into a parking spot, but he continued to yell and demand that I "turn the car around". I did see that I entered the driveway from the wrong direction, but backed out and left. He was still yelling. I have never been so verbally abused and berated by any employee of any business for entering the parking area the wrong way. I have been working in Middletown for 16 years and know a few of the town government officials including the head of the Chamber of Commerce. I intend to report this unacceptable behavior to these people. I will also be reporting this intolerable bad business behavior to the Better Business Bureau. I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone, and will continue to alert everyone I know to take your auto lube and oil business elsewhere. read more

I was in a hurry to get a quick oil change after realizing I had exceeded the recommended miles. My usual place was booking out 12 days ahead and I couldn't wait that long so decided to go to Valvoline. On my way there I saw Mobil 1 and decided to try them. I pulled around and one of the guys was standing outside and helped me immediately. He took knew exactly which oil I needed off the top of his head (I checked before leaving home to be sure they used the right stuff) and gave me a price. He told me he'd have me to go in about 10 minutes and directed me to the waiting room. The waiting area is nice, clean, and comfortable. A short while later he returned, added my info into the computer and checked me out and I was on my way. Checked my phone for the time when I got into my car - and it was under 10 minutes. There was a 19 point checklist for fluids on my receipt as well. He didn't mention it so I can only assume they did check the fluids - it would have been nice to have verbal confirmation - but that's my only complaint. read more

Took my GMC Acadia here for an oil change and had oil leaking all over my garage floor! Took my car to the dealer thinking there was a leak not related to the oil change... boy was I wrong. Undercarriage was "a mess" and they had not used correct parts/oil. Had to pay for another oil change within 2 weeks of paying Mobil 1 $80! When we called to tell Mobil 1 about the problem, they refused to refund my money for the oil change that was not done properly. After waiting in line for ten minutes at another oil change facility on Washington St I decided to jump out of line and try another place. I drove by Mobil1 and there was only one car in front of me so I pulled in. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The staff made me feel very comfortable and greeted me with smiles at every communication. I mentioned to Erick that I have 6 vehicles so he suggested that I join a Fleet membership. John, the manager enrolled me in the program that saves me 10% and does direct billing so I can send my guys in without having to hand over my charge card every time.
