Jay and his son, Jay, guided me through the whole process, which I greatly appreciated! It was clear from the beginning that he has been doing this for awhile (39 years) and knew what he was talking about. He knew exactly what my rights were, and how I should manage the insurance company. I cannot imagine how someone could have been of more help. I strongly recommend working with Jay if this is your first accident (or even if it's not). He is a great guy, tells it as it is, and is very friendly. If the unfortunate day comes where I am in another accident, I won't waste a second looking for another shop, and go straight to Jay's!

Took about 45 minutes (not sure how many other customers were they servicing at the same time, but it seemed quiet. I arrived around 9:20am, I paid by 10am and was in my car driving away by 10:20am. A bunch of other customers came in around 9:30-9:45am. The waiting area is large and comfortable, with lots of different seating options (various chairs with arm rests, comfy chairs, benches, a couch, ottoman, etc ) complete with a coffee station (Cafe Bustelo) & chocolates. There is a television where they play Netflix, feels like someone's living room. They also have a play area for children (lots of different toys good for infants and toddlers), a small table and a chalkboard. Perfect for keeping young children occupied for a lengthy wait if necessary- which was helpful as I had my 2.5 year old with me and she had a great time playing with the toys. I paid $60 for the swap, which was $20 more than I was quoted at some other places but honestly the convenience of the waiting area was well worth it. They checked to make sure that it wasn't my alternator causing any issues. They were very nice. I would come back again (but hopefully I don't need to!)

By Tuesday, both tires were completely flat, and Valvoline's equipment couldn't even register the PSI. I had unknowingly driven the car for two days, including to work, putting myself at unnecessary risk of a tire-related accident. I brought my car to VIP in Londonderry, NH, where Allison and the installer were extremely thorough and professional. They explained that the valves should have been inspected and tested as part of the installation and quality-control process and quickly corrected the problem. I appreciate that Joe at the Waterbury location apologized when I called, but I feel this situation should have been taken much more seriously. Driving two days and then potentially 2 1/2 hours home with improperly installed new tires could have resulted in a serious accident. I hope VIP Waterbury reviews its installation and quality-control procedures to make sure this doesn't happen to another customer.
