I don't usually make comments. Unfortunately there has been a plethora of mistakes from this firestone. Not just on my wife's vehicle but also mine. They also don't value the Customers wait time. I have worked with Firestone all my life and wouldn't recommend this firestone. I get it business gets busy. This review is based off of the continued stellar customer service given to my mother the past 5 years. The staff treats her with such kindness from the conversations to repairs made on her car. I brought my 2 SUV's here 4 yrs ago for tires and my service advisor was awesome and really did a good job getting me in and out. Fast forward and only have my wife's car now and her tires needed to be replaced the dealership told me. So I go to the glove compartment take the receipt out and say hmm only32000 put on them. I call the store and amazing my advisor is still there and tells me come down will take a look. I brought the car in today and sure enough tell we'll there. 4 yrs old but they are wearing faster than expected and say he can replace them under warranty. I m very happy with this place they put my wife's safety before money and for that they have me as a customer as long as I live here. read more

Had my car towed here after it overheated a mile down the road. Original quote was 700-1000 to fix a broken clutch. Once they found out we were from Out of state they suddenly found more things wrong with the car. And charging an extra 1800 for a cracked flywheel. We told them that we found parts 500+ cheaper than they had given us and we will tow the car back to jersey. They charged a little less than 450 for "taking the car apart". I had gone to the bathroom while my bf paid. When I got out I overheard the manager and two of his worker laughing about how they tried to screw us over with "finding parts" from "different states" and how they couldn't believe that we "actually paid for that service. ". One of the workers finally saw me standing there listening and elbowed the other guy to STFU. read more

I brought my car to have a simple oil change and tire change. I leave with my check engine light and traction control lights now on! I spoke with the manager and he said it was my fault! He said he would offer me a discounted diagnostics test fee for $100! The next day my tire was also flat! I took my car to another mechanic down the street. Apparently Firestone put my directional tires on backward and put a valve stem wrong on one of the tires. Don't waste your time going to Firestone first. read more

I was told by Matt, one of the managers at Firestone, that my car needed new engine bearings installed at a cost of $3,900.00 I believed him and started looking around for a new engine since it would be cheaper than having the bearing problem repaired. A few weeks later, I started loosing power steering fluid and so I brought my car to another repair facility. It turned out that the problem was not the power steering pump but, the metal tube that was rubbing against the engine and finally split. After the tubing was replaced, I notice the knocking sound that Matt told me was the bearings was gone. The engine runs like new again. Firestone was going to charge me $3,900.00 for a problem that didn't exist. Needless to write, I won't be returning to their facility. read more

I brought my car in to get the summer tires put back on. I was told by Matt that the price was 140 because they are low profile tires. I looked over my previous transactions with firestone and I paid 67 dollars. When I tried to discuss it with Matt, he said he discussed it with his "manager"- when he never did. He explained it was a promotion when you buy the tires. I explained that I had them changed twice and I was charged the same. He explained " it was a pricing error". A few minutes later Matt came back and said his low profile tire machine was not working. He gave me my keys and did not offer to reschedule my appointment. Surprising the machine stopped working right when I brought my car in. I noticed him talking to other clients who did not have the same skin color, and he seemed friendly with them. My wife had two flat tires on her car at work so we had AAA tow the car to Firestone. They uphold her to four tires instead of fixing the two. Normally I would have an issue with this, but I figured that it would just be done, so I didn't complain. After work she returned to Firestone to pick up her car (after hours). They indicated that they would leave the keys in the car... which they did, but they locked the doors so she couldn't get them. So now she had to convince the coworker that drove her the five minutes to Firestone, to now drive her the 30 minutes home (and 30 minutes back since the coworker lives in the area). And now we have to make another trip out in the morning to pick up her car. One thoughtless mistake by a worker has turned into three hours of wasted time for me, my wife, and her coworker. And as I said, I wouldn't have complained if the whole thing was just "taken care of", but this isn't good customer service. I won't be frequenting this, or any other Firestone again. read more

Stay away charged me for a quote and quoted 15% higher than nearest competitor. CHARGING FOR A QUOTE SUCKS

I would love to give them 2.5 stars because their employee, Andre definitely makes this place better. Initially, my experience here was good. Oil changes, brakes, suspension, fuel line flush, tire repair... no issues. Then, things started getting sloppy, no grease put on my brakes (hello grinding noises!), headlight replaced but shroud not correctly replaced (which, flew off four days later while we were on the high way) - they are replacing it, but only after a fuss and being accused of causing the problem. Constantly feeling nickled and dimed. My husband or I would go in and suddenly the "required work" would jump significantly. Not to mention how slow they are, no matter if you're early, on time or late, you can expect to spend several hours in their waiting room. Sure, you could go here, but expect to wait a long time for basic services (I've waited over two hours for a basic oil change that was scheduled). They are a very average company with average services, their coupons are alright, and their staff are so-so. All of this culminates in my husband and I finding somewhere else to service our vehicles because sloppy service is unacceptable. read more

These guys are the best!!! Would not take my vehicles anywhere else. Not only are they fast but they really set the standard of how to generate repeat business. They call when they say they are going to do only the work you request and reach out if something comes up and they need your approval. This is the only place I take my vehicles and you should to! Plus it doesn't hurt that 80% of the guys that work there are eye candy :) read more

The only reason why I'm rating and sharing information, because I feel obligated to report my experience to others. I went to the Bristol Firestone a couple of weeks ago, for something quick and simple. I counted 3 bulbs that needed to be changed (back upper brake lights on a Honda CRV) No biggie. I was quoted approximately $16.00/bulb; including the labor. Since I was not looking to take on the project myself, I agreed. After paying for the 3 bulbs, I headed home. Once home, I noticed that the small plastic coverings where the bolts were located were missing. So I returned back to Firestone shortly thereafter to retrieve the small plastic coverings (2). I was told that when they were removed, they were "brittle" and cracked. So I thought to myself--"Wow, thanks for not letting me know and initially offering to replace them." The employee in the garage offered to order replacement parts and stated he would call me that Monday (two weeks later and still waiting for a phone call). But this was not the issue. Here it comes...So the next evening I had one of my friends press my brakes because I wanted to make sure they were working. I'm embarrassed to say, the Honda CRV did not have light bulbs at the top of the brake lights as I initially thought. So you see my good people of Bristol, because I thought 3 bulbs were out, the Manager at the Bristol Firestone decided to charge for all 3, even though it was only one simple bulb that they replaced. I did go back to the Bristol Firestone and they refunded me for the cost of the 2 lightbulbs THEY DID NOT CHANGE! I'm wondering how many others they have taken advantage of. I'm super thankful I only went to them for replacement bulbs. I'm super embarrassed to have people working like this in Bristol. read more

I went here at the last minute to get a tire patched. I was quoted at $21 for the repair. When I got there, they brought my car right in. The wait was very short, about 10 minutes or so but the staff was friendly and helpful. When they told me it was done, I went up to pay and they said it was on the house!! I was so pleasantly surprised especially considering that I had never been there before, and I will definitely be back :) read more

Horrible, Horrible management!!!!!!!!!!!! They're policy states 30 days warranty no matter what...well don't be fooled!!! Discrimination of high maintenance...I was told they can no longer assist me...To go get service at another Firestone location. Very poor customer service! Management should be trained to deal with different customer's requests. I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

Went to a Monroe next store to get my brakes looked at and they quoted me a price that was in the ball park of what other service providers such as Sear and Meineke had quoted over the phone. Firestone came up with the same work assessment as Monroe for $100 less and that was before the $25 rebate special on the pads. The Firestone staff was upbeat, knowledgable and provided additional service options without any pressure to comply. The waiting room was spotless, stocked with current magazines and had the Sox playing their season opener on the TV. As opposed to Monroe whose staff was also knowledgeable and attentive but had a dirty waiting room with a few torn up magazines and a stack of DVDs next to a small tv turned off. If your like me your very attentive listening for how the mechanic in front of you is going to screw you but I trust these guys and Andre's upbeat customer service made them a joy to do business with. They way they operate is smart business as it has won mine. read more
