Okay sooooo, I don't know how to explain this place but this seems more of a "metro pho" type place. This isn't your typical Vietnamese place and what not. I'm gonna start with the shrimp summer rolls. I ordered that and i couldn't believe there were no vermicelli noodles in there. It was replaced with radish of some sort. I was shocked and maybe someone played a joke on me. I guess that's my bad for assuming and not reading the menu fully. I personally didn't like it. I give it a 1/5. I got a regular pho with brisket and rare meat. The broth didn't have that earth right broth feel to it. It was dark and to me it was super salty. I know it's suppose to be made with no msg, but with the amount of salt lines I tasted, might as well be. I couldn't finish it. I give it a 0/5. The saving grace is the server who was super attentive and she did an amazing job as a server. Once again I don't like writing bad reviews so as I write a bad one I try to end it on a positive note. read more

Been coming to this place for the last 2 years because it stayed out good and close to the house, but the portions are definitely becoming more and more inconsistent for the price you pay for a larger bowl or more Protein. If you get stuck coming here during dinner hour your going to be here a while, they just don't have the kitchen power and server competence to keep up with anything more than a few tables. It's defiantly becoming more of a worse experience each time! Time to find a new pho place. read more

Cozy little space, clean, easy free parking. Service is always friendly but attentiveness is hit or miss and inconsistent. Limited beer/wine selection. Prices are high considering the amount of meat that comes from n the bowl (in order rare steak bowl). Spring rolls were underwhelming. If there was a zero star, I would have used that. We were excited to eat here and when we got here, the server told us to wait as he was waiting to clean a table for two. There were only two tables empty and both for four people: one to be cleaned and one already cleaned. He went to the counter to give the to go orders and then four people showed up standing behind us waiting. He looked up and asked them how many people and they said four and he motioned for them to come to the clean table while ignoring us standing there for quite awhile waiting. Mind you there were several 2 people only sitting on the table for four there. I will never come to this place again. Please be mindful of your servers to at least be respectful for the people waiting because we don't know what disability those people have that isn't visible to the eyes. My fiancé and I are huge fans of Vietnamese food and pho, so we decided to try this place out after browsing for pho places on yelp. It's located in a big plaza with lots of parking and we came on a Thursday at noon. There wasn't many people at all but we figured it was because it was a weekday. The menu is very extensive with lots of options, but it was fairly expensive. Either way, we are willing to pay more for great quality food so it wasn't a problem for us. We got a beef pho and a chicken pho. The beef pho was a lot better tasting than the chicken pho and it had more flavor (which is expected). However, the chicken pho had close to no flavor at all. I needed to ask for fish sauce for it to have any flavor at all. We also ordered the fried egg rolls which were delicious. The service was fantastic and our server was very sweet. The decor was also really nice. I was just a bit disappointed with the food as it didn't taste very authentic at all and the prices were a bit high for what it was. I was a bit skeptical of this place since I always trust pho places such as pho 79 or phoholic. This place was walkable from where I lived and I was in the mood for pho without the drive. Although there weren't any viet workers, I have to say, this place serves some good authentic pho. I got brisket meatball pho and the broth was so flavorful and it wasn't too rich. They had two size options-- regular and large. The regular had a decent amount to fill someone up. We didn't get to try anything else on the menu since we were in a rush, but I gotta say this might be my new favorite pho place! The staff here is really nice as well and everything in the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. They'll definitely see me more often knowing this is walking distance for me! read more

New "Weekends in Paris" brunch is fabulous! I really appreciate Mo's dedication to organic and non-toxic ingredients. I've been on a low-carb diet thing and when I went yesterday she encouraged me to order the French toast item. I'm lactose intolerant and a no carb-er right now but I took it as a splurge. Sourcing the real French bakery baguettes made the difference! No carb coma after and I enjoyed the hand-made Vietnamese coffee/ chocolate ganache topping with no ill effects or horror afterwards. My friends tried the Jidori chicken/poached egg Benedict and it's was yummy too with no ill effects. If I ordered French toast at some chain or sloppy Joe joint I would have been sleepy and sick for days. It is like a weekend brunch in Paris. Eat what you want! Mo hits it out of the park again. If you don't know why organic sourcing is important, or why Jidori chicken is better, just ask one of the wait-staff. They'll fill you in happily. Place was packed! read more

First off I've been coming to this place a few years, they've never disappointed me or my guests. The ambience is so warm and inviting. The produce and meat they use is obviously fresh, and there is so much thought put into the recipes. To top it off, amazing service. Once They made a mistake on my order once and immediately apologized and offered me and my guest complimentary drinks, which also paired nicely with our meal. Sorry but when you pay top dollar for ingredients I expect highly from an establishment. I don't mind paying for quality but when the restaurant seems understaffed and the food coming out is luke warm at best is a no no for me. I ordered the chicken pho and complained that the mushrooms that were added and the soup itself wasn't hot. The mushrooms felt as they were thrown in raw. Then I bring it up to the server who said "oh I'll bring you more hot broth" I was expecting let me take it back and re make it for you but no. I'll never come back read more

First time trying Mo Pho Mi and it was good! We prefer a different pho shop, but wanted to try this place because of all the positive reviews. We ordered the special pho and steak pho, and they were good. Not a lot of meat but the broth was yummy. The service was okay, but we went at a busy time so it's understandable. Overall, good pho! Came on a Saturday for lunch and ordered the large beef pho with rare beef and brisket ($17) and the pork noodle salad ($16). They really do put the "mo" in Mo Pho Mi because the portion sizes here are massive. Broth was clear and flavorful - as it should be - but the real prize was the beef. This bowl had probably some of the most tender cuts of beef I've ever had in pho, and I'm not sure if it's the way they cut it or where they source it from but it was near perfect in every way. Safe to say there was nothing left in the bowl after I was done with it. My friend enjoyed his pork noodle salad, which was flavorful and had all the right toppings. Service was great. We were one of 3 parties in the restaurant at the time and had our own server, and he was able to change out the drink that another friend ordered and mistakenly received without hesitation. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in all of Orange County! My husband and I drive 30 minutes just to come eat here. Our favorite things to order are the shrimp summer rolls, the eggrolls, the chicken pho with a side of ginger sauce, and the beef with brisket. The summer rolls are insanely fresh and crunchy; I love the mixed vegetables within them. I also enjoy ordering a pot of decaf green tea will usually got here in the evening so I appreciate that there is a decaf option. The staff here is always very friendly and highly attentive. They make good recommendations when you ask for them and they bring you your food and drinks quick. I appreciate that they always refill your water. The restaurant is nice and they change their decorations seasonally. Outside they have a nice patio with a bunch of lights and plants. The restaurant, and the patio are both very clean. My favorite part of this restaurant is that they don't use MSG, and much of what they use is organic. Everything is super flavorful, and you can tell that it was made with love. If you're looking for a great soup or a Vietnamese meal, I highly recommend coming here! read more

My to go place is normally Happy Pho on Harbor, Costa Mesa for same price I get a large size with lots of meat, but they were closed so ended up having to order at Mo Pho. Mo Pho Mi barely give you meat here, and their mint leaves looks like it was a left over from another table. Broth is super salty, couldn't finished the small bow. What a waste of money. It has no aroma of authentic Pho broth at all. Taste like canned beef broth. Worst Pho I have ever eaten. 1 star for quick pick up. Yuk read more

It's close to my work so I walk over but there is a large parking lot and the owner is very nice and proud of her establishment. We happened to come across this spot one day when a different spot was closed but pho is one of my favorite foods and I have tried quite a few, but this is by far one of the best. From the service to the food it is 10/10. I would highly recommend the chicken wings, shrimp pho or Mary's chicken pho. In addition, the triple filtered water is a very nice touch. We didn't get checked on much, and it was hard to get server's attention because they were so far or not in sight (maybe in the kitchen). The noodles were perfection and the beef was one of the best I've had and even better than other restaurants that claimed to have filet mignon as their beef. Easily one of the best pho spots I've been to in a long time. The broth had that perfect balance of rich and flavorful but still super fresh and light. I got the beef pho and it was fire. You can really taste the quality ingredients; nothing artificial or overly salty like some places. The wings and egg rolls were also next-level! Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and could honestly be a meal on their own. What I loved most is that I didn't get that heavy, groggy feeling afterward. No additives or MSG overload, just clean, honest flavor that hits the spot. Vibe inside is also super nice with cool outdoor seating too! 10/10 would recommend. Paid 75$ for pho that tasted like chicken soup. The amount of food was for a small bowl of soup and stir fry had very little vegetables. Beef pho had small amount of beef. And the Chicken pho was 5 little slices. We did a pick up and was 5.50$ service fee charge. We will NEVER eat here again!!!!!!!!!! I give it one star because the two egg rolls were okay. I've been going here for years now. A very lowkey location for the locals. The Vietnamese food here is of high quality ingredients. They've got great pho here. The rice dishes are delicious as well. The service is also accommodating to the kids. We eat in and do take out all the time. It's a very clean shop and never too crazy busy. So it's easy to get in and out of here. I really enjoy coming to Mo Pho Mi because the food and service is always consistent. read more
