Been to around 30 highly rated poke restaurants and this was one of my least favorite. The fish was not fresh and the shades were just ok. Thought the toppings were good and fresh, however. So many better options but if in the area and want poke, ita not a bad option. Also the server was helping the person behind me at the same time as me which I found an unnecessary delay and a bit annoying. What's more convenient for the server is less convenient for the customers. read more

Tastes like some of the ingredients aren't the highest quality though and they also seem to try to skimp you on your sides, loading up the cheap salad where a higher quality and more expensive side should be. The poke and poke bombs were pretty good and didn't taste low quality. The Mac salad is kinda weird and it's hard not to like a Mac salad. The chicken has a good taste from the sauce but also seems on the lower end of quality and freshness. Give this place a shot, stick to the poke, but 4.5 stars is obscenely overrated for the service and quality of this resturaunt. read more

Pokeworks is a super solid go-to when you just want a quick, fresh poke bowl. We grabbed a few bowls to go and took them down to the beach for a picnic, which was the perfect call. The fish quality is always fresh, and they give you really good portions. Building your own bowl is definitely the move since you can load up on all the toppings you want. The spicy tuna mixed with sriracha aioli hits the spot every time if you like a little kick, and the salmon with yuzu ponzu is great if you want something cleaner. Also, don't sleep on the Garlic Spam Musubi. It's warm, savory, and the perfect little side snack to throw in the bag. Service at the counter is fast, so you're in and out in a few minutes. Parking in that lot can be a pain depending on the hour, but the food is always consistent and makes for a great meal. read more

One of my favorite places to eat & to get some delicious & great quality protein in! I've always gotten the spicy salmon & it has always been so fresh & delicious, never fishy! Perfectly seasoned. Love all the fresh toppings including soft tofu. Multiple yummy gluten free sauce options - I love the Hawaiian Salt & Chili sauce which is sesame oil, salt & chili flakes, & also the Black Garlic Umami (but it's not gluten free). 50 cents extra for masago. I only wish they had avocado & maybe some more musubi options for people who don't eat spam & want to grab something easy to eat on the way to the beach. (Like most poke places they only have spam musubi, although it is a garlic spam musubi). I think a chicken or beef musubi option would be great. Highly recommend overall! A regular size bowl (2 protein scoops) is perfectly filling for me & cost ~$18, although a small size wpuld probably be enough. read more

I've only been here twice but staff seem pretty friendly & welcoming! This plaza has a lot of other shops, restaurants, and businesses, so it can get busy after work hours but parking hasn't been an issue so far. Solid poké ofc but I think their bowls could be filled up a little more & have less rice at this location. Will continue to support Pokeworks as their no. 1 customer!! read more

My salmon was fresh, and all the toppings tasted fresh as well. They have many unique items such as poke bombs, chicken ramen miso soup, and tons of tempting drinks. My husband got their masubi and he said it was delicious. We both agreed we would come back next time we are in the area. I am tempted to venture out and try some of their other items. This is a good choice for a fresh poke bowl. I got the Half Ahi, Half Salmon bowl. The Portion: It's a perfectly sized meal for one person. The Flavor: They include a good variety of toppings, which adds a lot of texture and keeps the flavor profile interesting throughout the bowl. Good bowl for ~$15. Fresh fish and consistent quality ! It's nice that they have so many semi cooked and also chicken and tofu options for anyone who might not want raw. It's always very clean inside and there's ample parking in this shopping plaza. They give good portions for their price and are consistent. They have a lot of fun drink options and spam musubi as well. I also really enjoyed their Mac salad. The only thing is my personal experience with the staff has been very minimal as it's very few words and usually no greeting but everyone has off days :) read more

First time trying! Review isn't a super colorful painting. In short, does not fulfill full orders, under seasoned soup, wrong drink, and broken burritos. Go to poke tiki instead, it's what I've gone to for poke all my time in California. I regret trying this place. I was really excited too :( I did an online order for delivery. Got the combo, with a Diet Coke, poke burrito, and miso soup. I also added a side of edemame. Burrito was fine. Broke apart at the ends, but most burritos do. Coke wasn't diet as I selected, but that's fine. The miso soup was heavily watered down with only a few tofu and no seasoning, I'd bet no more than 5 pieces. Edamame was NOT delivered, and I had to get refunded through a 3rd party for it missing. Won't be trying again :) read more

Pokeworks is one of those place where every ingredient that can possibly go into a bowl is available. Decent price and decent poke. When we walked in it smelled DELICIOUS. They said you can have items torched and whatever they last torched smelled deliciioous. Not sure why I didn't try my food torched after making a fuss about the scents. Their chili oil topping is also a very good chili oil! Dim sum quality chili oil imo and very crispy. Doesn't belong in poke but I got it anyways haha. First time at a pokeworks and I went with the spicy ahi bowl over mixed greens. I also grabbed Spam musubi for the first time ever, which surprised me. The bowl comes loaded with ahi tuna, cucumber, sliced onion, edamame, masago, green onion, sesame seeds, onion crisps, and shredded nori, all tossed with their spicy sauce. Everything looks fresh right away. The tuna is clean and tender, the cucumbers add a cool crunch, and the onions give it just enough bite without overpowering anything. The masago and sesame seeds add texture, and the ginger i asked for tied everything together. The spicy sauce coats everything evenly and gives the bowl some heat without drowning it. Over mixed greens, it stays light but still filling. Each bite feels balanced, nothing overpowering, nothing missing. Last-minute decision, I also ordered Spam musubi. I've seen Spam my whole life and never had the urge to try it until today. It's a thick slice of grilled Spam over seasoned rice, wrapped with seaweed. The Spam is crisp on the outside and tender inside, salty in a good way, and it works really well with the rice. Simple, comforting, and way better than I expected. Everything was really good. I think I might have just come in on an off day, but I was disappointed with this poke. There is very little rice served and the fish serving was skimpy, but boy did they drench the bowl in sauce. You can see in the photo that the rice is swimming in sauce. I would say be very vocal about how you like your poke prepared at this location depending who is your server. I opted to build my own. There are many options for protein and toppings. I appreciated that. The Serrano aioli sauce was quite good as well. My salmon was a good texture and not fishy. I also ordered a jasmine milk tea. After a sip, it just tasted like milk. They were kind and added a little more tea, but it still tasted off. I ended up throwing it away.
