Ummmmm... AMAZING!! So happy I stopped by to try this new thai spot! So freakin' good!!! Very tasty and flavorful! Did not expect to be blown away. The cashier was super helpful in helping me choose from their food options. Staff is the sweetest, they even offered to help walk me out to the car with my food since I had my baby with me. Great service, great food! I will definitely be coming back!

Shrimp Pad Thai and ground beef kaphrao with duck egg- both delicious.

Call me basic but I will always order pad Thai when I get Thai food- and this place may just have the best one I've had in a long time. Theirs is what I imagine the pad Thai would be if I had it in the streets of BKK. Perfect balance of sweet & savory, not greasy, and they do not skimp on the portion. The restaurant itself is small but very clean and the owners are super friendly! Will def be coming back to try everything else on their menu.

Yummm. The ground beef kaphrao tasted delicious. Never had kaphrao before, but I'm a fan now! This is a little shop, but great service. Food is cooked fresh. Would come back.

I am Thai and very picky when it comes to Thai food. This place specializes in kaphrao this is a dish that we all grew up on. In Thailand this dish is more popular than Pad Thai. It is so hard to find a place that makes this authenticity and this place is it! We ordered the minced chicken and minced beef. Very tasty will be back.

Food was delicious and the serving size was quite big too. Look at the eggs in this picture. Definitely coming back again soon.

Couldn't give this place a higher rating! The owner Jacob was super kind and very nice to talk to over our meal. The inside is super clean and had great decor aswell. We got the number 1 level 2 spice, pad Thai level 2 spice, and the Pad see ew level 1 spice. Everything was FRESH and hot. The level two spice was perfect for spice lovers lol! I am amazed at the quality of food and will definitely return to try their steak pad Thai. Please come out and support them for some real Thai food!

Moo Crispy Fried Pork Belly Kaphrao Over Rice with Fried Egg

Ordered the Moo Crispy Fried Pork Belly Kaphrao Over Rice with Fried Egg. So tasty, fresh, delicious and well-done. Would absolutely try again and will order the other bowls as well! I was in Thailand last year and this food felt as authentic as the street food style with amazingly fresh ingredients and flavor. The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming. Highly recommend this place !!

Tried out a new Thai spot that just opened and wanted to share a quick review! Chicken Pad Thai (added shrimp): The shrimp were a 10/10 -- large pieces, cooked well, and very tasty. Unfortunately the chicken itself was not great. I'd rate the chicken about 1/5. It had very little flavor and the texture was a bit odd -- kind of slippery/almost slimy when you bite into it. They do give you a good amount of meat, but I'd personally skip the chicken next time and just stick with shrimp. The Pad Thai overall leaned more on the dry side, not super saucy, so I ended up squeezing extra lime on it which helped bring the flavors together. Spicy Basil Chicken (spice level 1): This one was good. The ground chicken had much better flavor and texture than the chicken in the Pad Thai. I ordered it with a fried egg on top and mixing the egg into the rice definitely made the dish better. Like the Pad Thai, it was also a little on the dryer side, but still enjoyable. Egg Rolls: Pretty basic egg rolls. They didn't come with a dipping sauce, so when I got home I dipped them in some sweet chili sauce and that definitely improved them. Service & Overall: The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd definitely go back again and try some of their other menu options!

    Beef Kaphrao (Basil) Fried Rice

Love the food!!! I ordered the beef kaphrao and chicken pad thai (haven't eaten this yet) but I had to leave a review. This is the best kaphrao I've had, and I will 100% be coming back if I'm ever in the area. The bowls are also a surprisingly decent size, as they fill it up with your choice of 3 veggies, your protein, rice, and an egg on top.

There were 20 parties in front of us and it was a bit confusing at first but I luckily quickly noticed the Yelp tablet out front. We ordered the papaya salad, morning glory with crispy pork belly, drunken noodles with beef, khao soi with braised beef, and Chu chee curry with fried catfish. Everything was delicious and authentic and a hit with our party! We left stuffed and with leftovers but I will note the morning glory with crispy pork belly portion was a bit smaller than we've had at other restaurants. Flavors though were all outstanding and my parents are excited to come back again next time! Dropped in solo, but ordered like I had someone with me. Service was great, very fast and attentive. Everyone I interacted with had a smile on their face. Inside was clean and modern. Ordered the Beef Khao Soi, the Papaya Salad, and the Crab Fried Rice. All of them were exceptional. The beef in the Khao Soi was sooo tender, the rich and creamy soup (broth?) with coconut milk was perfectly crafted. The Crab Fried Rice was delicious too. They have an option to go "super saiyan" on the crab for a hefty price... may be up your ally if you can spare the cash. Lastly, the papaya salad. A staple. A must order to gauge authenticity! Manaoo does their profiles right: the salad was super refreshing with a perfect balance of heat and umami. However my disappointment comes from the use of a shredder instead of hand-cutting. I know its for efficiency...but when I'm dropping close to $15 for this... I do expect a bit more refinement. Overall, Thai food is getting expensive, and Manaao is no exception. However Manaoo provides excellent quality and bold flavors with fresh ingredients; they make sure you want to come back for more. I'll be back in to try my other Thai favorites! Parking is abhorrent! Don't park in the adjacent lot. They do tow!

They also have lunch specials w an extensive menu. I read a review from someone who passed by everyday and was gushing about how amazing this was, me too I have passed by and was tempted to go in but my husband said why, we could go to Little Saigon closer to Huntington Beach. I was impressed by how beautiful the huge mural was in the parking lot which btw was ample, there was no need for a valet. I was surprised to be greeted by a Hispanic man and our server was also a Latina, the interior was so beautifully decorated like a shangrila, better than any Thai restaurant I went to in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. We ordered the beef satay, Penang chicken curry and drunken noodles, the portion was enough to feed an entire village! LOL! every entree came w rice, salad. Unfortunately everything was so sweet I thought I ate a dessert, I can't understand why everything is so sweet in 90% of Thai restaurants in USA, that is not the case in Thailand. The chicken in the Penang curry was so bland like coming out of the freezer not real chicken and the curry sauce was sweet so I could not eat it, the beef was chewy. The drunken noodle taste was Ok but it was also sweet. Over all it is 2 stars for me but I rate this 3 stars bc my husband needed to gain weight and he ate everything so the extra star came from him. I'm afraid the chef might also be a Hispanic man if all the help was so the food was not authentic, I don't think I will come back here. The pad see ew was also great, probably the second best I have in, first being Dean by Dean noodles in Rowland Heights! The ratio of tofu, broccoli, eggs and noodles was great, honestly I am still thinking about that pad see ew and am tempted to go later this week for a plate... Still on soft opening mode so the menu was somewhat limited. The lovely owner Bew is so sweet and we learned that several members of her family has been in the restaurant industry in SoCal for a long time (from San Diego to LA and now OC). We ordered the following: * Fish cakes for appetizer, love the sauce that came with it. * Holy Basil with Crispy Pork Belly. This was full of flavor, and really love the sauce and everything that came with it. Definitely scored high on craveability. The only request I had which I relayed to the owner is - the pork belly was a little on the tough side. I made suggestions for them to try to remedy that. * Pad Thai with Shrimp was on point. Hubs enjoyed and devoured it in no time. * Thai Tea and Green Tea were on point as well. They have desserts coming soon that we cannot wait to try. I forgot to take pics of the menu so I took screenshots of menu from their website. Would definitely be back to support Bew at Nai Tong. Go check them out!!!

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. While my food adventures in OC have largely been successful,…read moreit was inevitable that I'd end up coming across a place that so many folks like that just didn't hit the mark for me. However, I never would've thought that place was going to be Siam Station. After hearing good things about their spot in Cupertino/the Bay Area from several friends, it felt rather fortuitous when we randomly came across their original location - and with no line in sight! Inside, they've got a cozy sort of vibe and it's cool how they have some outdoor tables set-up as well. As for the menu, it didn't seem all that extensive at a glance, but it has all of the staples you'd expect to find among their appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried noodles, noodle soups, curry dishes, entrees, and desserts. -- ZESTY WINGS - Deep Fried Chicken Wings Topped with Crispy Basil and Served with Chili Sauce Easily our favorite dish of the night. The wings were really crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside. Even though there wasn't much of the sauce, which was flavorful but not that spicy, it was fine - the wings were still great without it. -- KHAO SOI with Chicken - Yellow Curry Broth with Egg Noodles and Chicken and Served with Red Onions, Lime, and Pickles Ehh...this was okay, I guess. On the plus side, the chicken was tender and I thought the broth was pretty good - not the best I've had, but better than most. That said, I didn't love the egg noodles, especially the crispy ones after they had soaked up the broth. -- PAD KEE MOW (Drunken Noodles) with Crispy Pork - Flat Rice Noodles Stir Fried with Spicy Basil Garlic Sauce, Bell Peppers, Tomato, Sweet Onion, and Thai Basil I was super excited for this, but it was disappointing. The first thing we noticed was how pale it was and, sadly, the taste matched. Whether it be their garlic sauce or some chilis, this needed more. As for the pork, it was definitely crispy, but a few pieces bordered on dry/burnt. -- MANGO STICKY RICE A little hit, a little miss. The mango was fine (decently sweet, soft), but the sticky rice left us a little wanting. Mainly, I didn't love the glob of coconut cream, was it was pretty thick and viscous, which gave the rice a weird texture/coating to it. As far as service goes, it was uneventfully good. Although there was one point where it was hard to hail someone, it was mostly because the restaurant got increasingly busy and one of the servers was trying to help a group sort something out with their order. Otherwise, our food came out relatively quick and the workers were rather efficient with everything. Despite how we left feeling bummed out by our experience, it had more to do with being underwhelmed than the food actually being "bad". Admittedly, we came in with high hopes/expectations from all of the hype we had heard and it probably didn't help that we had gone to Manaao the night before, which is one of my favorite Thai restaurants anywhere. What's more, I wonder if we just didn't get the best that Siam Station has to offer. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to coming back to find out (and potentially writing an update), but perhaps I'll just try my luck at their spot in Cupertino that my friends like so much.
