The chicken was dry and over cooked and lacked any flavor that I'm used to. We ordered the pad Thai with Shrimp and it came out with tofu (no Shrimp), but all good, we just rolled with it and wasn't too bad, but I did have to toss in a bunch of chili flakes to add flavor to the bland noodles. It was very large and we had plenty left over. The Pad See Ew was my favorite and had the most flavor. I would recommend this if I ordered again or something totally different from what I ordered this time. The Thai fried rice was decent and as expected. What I was impressed with was the presentation of the food that was nice and clean and included very large portions. The Thai tea needed a little more milk but I could have just asked for some more to be fair. Service was nice and fast and inside was blasting some 90s pop music so it brought me back :) in fact, might have been the best part but to be decided, Boyz to Men always hits hard.

Definitely a top place that I go to since I live less than a mile away. Here's what you get for $17. You get a full plate loaded with flat noodles, chunks of chicken, egg mixed all through it, and a good amount of green onions. It's all coated in that classic pad Thai sauce, slightly sweet with a little tang to it. On the side they give you fresh bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, a little cabbage and carrot mix, and a lemon wedge so you can kind of mix it how you want. I usually throw everything on there and mix it up. Portion is big, flavors are always consistent, and it's one of those meals that just fills you up!

We really enjoyed the dishes and while the food here has always been good, it seemed like they tasted better than usual. One thing to note though is that this restaurant always takes their time to make the food so it can take 30 minutes to pick up your take out order. That said, it is worth the wait if they make the food fresh. All this dishes were flavorful. The Ka Pao is always delicious with lots of basil and garlic. The eggplant dish is also savory, but could be better with more eggplant. The Pad Thai was also better because the noodles weren't as dry and the Panang curry was tasty with a creamy flavor. Overall, we can always count on this place for solid Thai food.

This location is on the smaller side, which made the atmosphere feel more intimate and perfect for something like a date night, anniversaries, or just a friend hangout! We got an array of food but I really loved their Pad Kee Mao, it was so tasty and I loved how everything was seasoned perfectly. I genuinely have no notes other than I will be back to try more of their food and I also highly recommend trying their Mango Sticky Rice Beer to complement the food (it was citrusy, bright, and paired nicely with the food we ate + it also did have notes of Mango Sticky Rice which is crazy). It was my first time here but certainly won't be the last!

Still on soft opening mode so the menu was somewhat limited. The lovely owner Bew is so sweet and we learned that several members of her family has been in the restaurant industry in SoCal for a long time (from San Diego to LA and now OC). We ordered the following: * Fish cakes for appetizer, love the sauce that came with it. * Holy Basil with Crispy Pork Belly. This was full of flavor, and really love the sauce and everything that came with it. Definitely scored high on craveability. The only request I had which I relayed to the owner is - the pork belly was a little on the tough side. I made suggestions for them to try to remedy that. * Pad Thai with Shrimp was on point. Hubs enjoyed and devoured it in no time. * Thai Tea and Green Tea were on point as well. They have desserts coming soon that we cannot wait to try. I forgot to take pics of the menu so I took screenshots of menu from their website. Would definitely be back to support Bew at Nai Tong. Go check them out!!!

All the food came out relatively quick and service was also friendly and the staff were checking in regularly for water refills and to ensure we were having a good meal. The thai tea was creamy and rich and one of the better ones I've had compared to most thai spots in the area. The grilled pork neck was tender and juicy and the included dipping sauce added some extra sweetness. The portion size was also good and easy to share. The Kra Prao Crispy Duck was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite thai dishes I had. The crispy duck was crunchy and had good flavor and the sauce mixed with the peppers and the crispy fried egg on the side with the rice made for a filling plate! Overall, my friends and I had a great dinner here and I would highly recommend checking out Nai Tong if you are in the area and want some amazing Thai food! This Thai restaurant caught our eyes with its authentic-looking dishes, and it turned out to be an easy find with a little help from GPS. The restaurant isn't big, but it's clean and well kept. The wall decor is beautiful and actually gives you some interesting information about what they serve. There are a handful of tables, and it's a self-serve setup: you order at the counter, grab a table, and they bring the food over to you. There are quite a few choices on the menu, but we kept it simple with just two dishes since we're really not big eaters. We ordered the Pad See Ew and Chicken Satay (the appetizer, not the bowl). Both had distinctive Thai seasonings and plenty of flavor. The chicken satay was especially good: very tender and definitely not dry, which can sometimes be a gamble with chicken. After a long day of youth event, this was exactly the kind of refreshing meal option we were looking for. Authentic Thai flavors, reasonable prices, and a casual little space that gets the job done.
