The person in front of us finished his order and we were instantly tickled to see how they send the order to the kitchen. We asked the person behind the counter what was good, as we were visiting from California and had never been there before. He was great at explaining the menu and giving suggestions. Very friendly. We settled on sharing a swamp donkey burger, fries and a side of Cole slaw. We watched our order whiz away to the kitchen and went to get our drinks. We found a good table, sat down and talked for a few minutes. Before long our order had arrived. The person that brought it over asked if we needed anything else. , and we asked for an extra plate and a fork and knife. He quickly brought it all over, and we felt silly because we didn't see utensils were right next to the drink machine, and we should have gotten them ourselves. I apologized for missing it, but he was so polite and friendly and seemed like it was no big deal. We cut the burger in half, I started on the cold slaw (delicious), and then got to it. The burger was amazing. It was big, perfectly done, and completely hit the spot. The fries were also great. We didn't have long before we gad to get back to the hotel to get ready for the flight, and having already paid at the beginning, it was quick and easy heading out. I don't know if/when we will be back to Council Bluffs, but if we are, we will be back 100% for sure. Highly recommend!

Super crispy skin and juice inside. Reminds me a little of Korean fried chicken. The texas toast was yummy, the cole slaw was creamy (if you like creamy slaw), and the crispy tots were crispy delicious. My friend got a broasted chicken sammich and he loved it too. (High praise coming from him.) My friends and I have been wanting to go back and get more broasted chicken since we left. Delicate potsticker wrapper, with tons of filling, resting in a carrot-ginger dressing that complemented the potsticker fantastically. We were already so pleased, and didn't believe the entrees could top the starters, but they were just as awesome, which should be no surprise. It was easier to share two entrees, because we couldn't decide between two. Our first entree was the Faroe Island Salmon, and it was cooked to perfection, and served atop an indulgent bed of sweet corn risotto that I still dreeeeam about. And our second entree was the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which was a little lighter of a meal, so was great paired with the salmon dish which was a tad heavier. I would recommend either of these dishes! We were SO full at this point but we knew we had to get a dessert since this was a special occasion. We shared the chocolate torte and devoured it, even with our extreme fullness. It was so fluffy and chocolatey and DELISH. From start to finish, this was one of the best meals I've had in Omaha.
