Do Not Eat Here!!!! I came here with my family and no one was happy. So you know the bagged frozen Chinese food you get from places like Walmart? Just eat that, I promise you it's better. They also don't ever refresh the food, so while my teenager said the potstickers were actually edible, I was never able to try one. My first time will unfortunately be my last time. Went in for dinner and the food were all cold. Honestly, I think it's just old food from their lunch. The options are very very minimum too, not much to choose from like other buffets. The worse was the Sushi sections. Whatever happened to all the buffets in Fresno. Years ago (and I mean 8-10 years) they all were good, now they are all below par. I've eaten here a few times and it seems that their food and service has dwindled thru the years. When you walk in, you'll see like 3-5 fans mounted on dividers that separate the buffett which may indicate an AC problem or that customers have complained of the room temp. In fairness, the food that day were hits and misses. But it is obvious some entrees (especially the not as popular) were not fresh. Our party arrived during lunch so it was properly stocked but reviews of other Yelpers coming in close to closing indicate that they do not restock and pretty much choose from whatever is leftover. I would come back here if I had no choice and wanted a quick fix but only for lunch and not for dinner. read more

my husband and granddaughter and I came to this restaurant today. There is nowhere a place that tells you how much the Buffay is. I grew up on the Pacific Northwest and Puget Sound area. I love salmon but their salmon was in the water over cooked and soggy and tasted like the stinky fish that is not ripening. Their red barbecue pork some of the pieces tasted like shit like the meat was starting to spoil. Their service sucked totally. I will never come back to this place. I just hope to God we didn't get food poisoning here. I told them that I was a diabetic and I would like ice tea and they brought me sweet tea. I hate to give any businesses 1 star, but this type of behavior is unexceptable.. First of, my kids wanted to have some sushi but during the hour between 3-4:30pm, it's impossible, their all closed. We got there, and got seated right away with our drink orders.. Got up to get some food and everything was dry, as I last remember.. Thought in my head was that, we should have gone to Tsing Tao, Hunan, etc. and just order food that's cook to order and worth the money.. Well besides the food, the services is pretty much ur typical.. Come time to pay.. The server gave us our bill ( we knew what type of price to expect, no surprise at all).. We gave her a $100, then she came back with our change and it was short $10.. So my wife brought it to her attention right away.. She took it back to the older cashier lady( seems to be the owner) and came back within minutes and told us " We gave u correct change".. Immediately me and my other half felt insulted in front of our 2 young kids ( as though we're crooked peoples). And then she proceeded to tell us they have it on camera.. So my wife told her go look at ur camera and comeback to us or do u want us to watch it with u.. Normally we wouldn't even make it a big deal because we don't mind tipping $10 if we felt that the service deserves it.. But now it was more of a principle.. So she went back to the old cashier lady.. I can clearly see a screaming match between the two.. Me and my lady looked at eachother and said "forget it".. As we were walking out tho, the old cashier lady felt the need to call us a liar again.. So pissed off now, my lady told her where is the so called video, let's watch it together.. This is the first time I have ever written a review for food. It had to be done because it was the reviews that got me and a friend to check this place out. Not only did we have great service, clean tables, appealing atmosphere, and most importantly, incredible food.. the price wasn't too shabby either! We had a great time sampling all sorts of appetizing foods. Mind you, if you are a fan of "jumping chicken" (aka frog legs), you will flip out! They have that too! They had HUGE oysters steamed with black beans, red snapper(deep fried and smothered in yummy sauce), and a pretty good sushi bar - WITH SASHIMI. Not to mention the quick service at the Hibachi grill.. good combos of shrimp, octapus, meats, and fresh veggies with the right amount of sweet and spicy sauces. Lunch at Mitsui will definitely fill you up! Great price! Mostly awesome food. I love their sushi, the little crab things on the shell are to die for! Love the mushrooms and most of the other regular dishes are great. The side that's a salad bar is fantastic. The bananas with sweet sauce is a favorite of mine. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. Somebody in another review mentioned something about not so good staff. In the times that I've been there they have been great and today, even, they were rather slow in bringing the check. It appears to me that they are watching to make sure they don't bring the check until they are certain you are finished eating. Why not 5 stars, you ask? Well, the beautiful desserts - the little chocolate mousse-like squares and the pink squares - they were REALLY dried out. A few of the regular dishes are dried out - maybe due to lack of interest from the patrons, maybe they need to be replaced by something else. The bathroom could use a makeover.
