    3 meat sampler XL

I am from out of town and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I had the 3 meat plate with ham, pulled pork, and brisket (you can choose lean or "wet" on the brisket, I had the wet). They had staff wandering the dining room and even gifted me a peach cobbler on the house. The Georgia and North Carolina vinegar were my favorite sauces out of the 8 I had to choose from.

2 meat combo (jalapeno cheese sausage/brisket) with cornbread and side of mac and cheese

Stopped in for a quick bite on my way through PA. The staff is super nice and welcoming here and enjoyed the food overall. I got a 2 meat combo with jalapeno cheese sausage and brisket which comes with cornbread, along with a side of mac and cheese. Tried the pulled pork, turkey and fries that my husband ordered and they were all solid too. Love the huge variety of bbq sauce - 6 different ones at the table and a white Alabama bbq that they gave with our order. Would stop back if I am in the area or at another location. They play and stand up for the national anthem at noon everyday and honor our veterans. They do have a veterans discount.

Some miscellaneous badges as shown in the previous picture, showing a small preview of the decoration in the restaurant

When me and my family walked in, it looked really patriotic, all kinds of medals, rank patches, and pictures of veterans all over the walls. On the table we sat at, there was different federal/military badges inside the table. The service up front was fast and direct, and it took about 1-2minutes to order for us 4, (excluding the time it took to decide what to get). Now, I got a pulled chicken sandwich with some fries, it tasted good by itself, but if you put the apple cider vinegar on the fries and try any one of the six sauces at the tables on your meat, I assure you that it'll really improve the taste. Some meals, like a brisket, come with a small side of whatever you pick and a block of cornbread. 10/10

Outstanding service, Outstanding BBQ and Outstanding pride for Military & First Responders!!!!! I'm visiting Allentown with my son for the Monster Jam Show tomorrow and we came by out of curiosity. It was sooooooo good! Worth it! Great food and even better staff!!

2 Meat Market Sampler (2 Meat) Turkey & Brisket Side of Collard Greens

Upbeat positive fast food BBQ. This is a place that has been getting better since I first went there. Six sauces at each table to try on the flavorful meat. Collard greens were lacking flavor. Service was great, with an attendant in the dining area making sure everything was right. Supports veterans and is decorated with that theme.

Mission BBQ is located in front of the Whitehall Mall. One tip before eating here: They do not have Hamburgers like most BBQ restaurants. Menu includes Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, and other meat options. I went with the Brisket and Fries for my side. Meat Market options come with a piece of Cornbread. Keep an eye on for what seasonal sides they are offering. Beverages include Pepsi fountain drinks and various glass bottle beverages. Dining room has a decent amount of seating and is currently open. Interior design is heavy on wood grain and decorated with military/police memorabilia. Mission BBQ does not have servers, but they did have some someone walking around checking if you needed anything and keeping the dining area clean. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. At the table they provide six different BBQ sauces as the meat is prepared in one style. I was impressed with the Memphis Belle and Smokey Mountain flavors as I'm not usually a sauce person. The Brisket is tasty enough to eat without sauce. My fries looked overdone, but were actually perfectly done and tasty. Mission BBQ does something...unusual at Noon every day: They play the National Anthem which I was not expecting. Overall, the prices are reasonable and the food is good, so I will be returning.

A place that honors our service men and women

Terrific place with great atmosphere, clean, spacious and moderate noise. Staff wonderful and friendly, our first time here and at Noon, we were pleasantly taken aback as the whole restaurant stood as the National Anthem played - amazing recognition of our service men and women. Great sides. Would like to come back and try them all - Definitely worth trying if you're in the mood for BBQ.

We dined in on a Wednesday night and it was wing night. You can get whole smoked wings for $1.25 each. It wasn't very busy when we arrive, but it's slowly started to fill up around us and by the time we left, the bar was pretty full. They have a nice mix of booths and tables. They have a nice draft list with a good variety. I would recommend having the draft list printed and available at the tables because it is little hard to see from some of the angles in the restaurant depending on where you are sitting.

They just refreshed their menu (don't worry, the fan favorites are still there) and added some seriously crave-worthy new options. We tried their wing board which consisted of their fired and smoked wings- all the flavors and sauces!!! Classic flavors, elevated in the best way. Also tried their cornbread- because how can you not try homemade cornbread!!! It was out of this world. Snagged some brisket rolls to go- unbelievable. They make all their own dough, use their smoked brisket and homemade BBQ sauce to deliver these delicious rolls. I can't wait to become a regular!

We went in the evening on Saturday, and it was not terribly crowded overall, nor at any of the vendor booths. One thing I liked about this vendor was that they were preparing a lot of the food on-site. Meaning, they were roasting and then carving the meat all right there. It was interesting to see and watch, as I feel a lot of the time that is not being done with vendor-style barbeques. We ordered the platter with One Meat and Two Sides, along with a Cornbread Muffin. For the meat, we chose Brisket, and our sides were the Mac & Cheese and the Campfire Beans. The platter also comes with a piece of bread to pair with the meat. The order came out pretty quickly, and was hot and prepared well. My favorite item out of everything was the cornbread. It was sweet, moist, and paired well with the other items. The other sides were not bad, but they were just alright. The Mac was not super saucy on its own, and the Beans were in a good amount of sauce. It is clear that this barbeque is cooked for competition. That being said, the meat is cooked well and likely is cooked with very specific techniques for those competitions, but it was somewhat lacking in flavor. But, this is simply the style of meat they sell, so it is more just an FYI. There were several sauces that were self-serve, so you can add as much flavor through those as your heart would desire. I enjoyed getting to try this style of Texas barbeque, as I do not believe I have ever had something quite like it. I would be interested to try some of the other meats if I have the chance to eat from Jim's in the future!
