We ordered 2 brisket sandwiches-lean. One looked chopped, so we told our server; Cole and he immediately apologized and brought us another sandwich and a free sandwich coupon for our next visit. Great customer service! The brisket was very tender and tasty. The Mac & cheese tasted homemade and the beans were pretty good. We were brought a free order of their Freedom Fries which were a little spicy and very tasty. I love the armed service, veteran decor. And if you buy a souvenir cup you can bring it back and $ off your drink. Definitely a recommend!

3 Meat Sampler - Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Sausage. Mac-N-Cheese on the side

Really solid first impression at Mission BBQ! My friends and I went for dinner on a Friday evening around 7pm. The restaurant was busy but we had no issues getting a table. We don't eat BBQ frequently & were excited when this place was announced. The restaurant is counter service, so you order your food at the counter, find a table, and they call your name when it's ready. The employee taking our order was very helpful. He explained the menu and answered our questions. The food was ready extremely quickly! I'd say we were waiting no longer 5 minutes. It was all hot & fresh. We each got a Meat Sampler plate with 2-3 meats. We also upgraded to combos for the sides & drink. The 3 meat sampler & XXL combo (which comes with 2 sides) is going to set you back about $30. This sounds like a lot, but for me it was so worth it. I got the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Jalapeño & Cheese Sausage. For sides I got the Fresh Cut Fries and the Mac-N-Cheese. Our group also tried the Collard Greens, Green Beans, and Blueberry Cobbler. All the food was excellent. My favorite meats were the brisket and the pulled pork. I probably wouldn't get the sausage again - just wasn't for me. For the Brisket you can choose either moist or lean cuts. The moist is more fatty, but so flavorful. All the sides were delicious. The only side which received slight criticism were the Collard Greens - reportedly under-seasoned. The fries are excellent, especially if you get them seasoned! Portion size is very good. The photos look deceiving because of the trays, but there is a lot of food. No one in our group left hungry. The customer service was probably some of the best I've experienced for a counter-service restaurant. Throughout the entire meal, staff checked up on us, seeing if needed anything, even bringing us samples to try of other menu items. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Great first experience. Already looking forward to returning to try something else off the menu!

Barbecue brisket sandwiches with Mac n cheese and their sauces!

Went to have dinner her while in town on vacation and this is an awesome place and very big on supporting our veterans! I ordered 2 moist brisket sandwiches with a side of Mac n cheese and it's was amazingly delicious and flavorful! It was also pretty busy so we got our order to go! I highly recommend stopping in and giving this place a try when you're in the area and especially if you like barbecue you won't be disappointed! They had an awesome menu selection and they also cater events as well! I know I will definitely be back again as everything from the service to the quality, flavor and freshness of the food was amazing! The ambience was very casual and noisy but what barbecue place isn't loud and casual!

Love the mission, and the observance of National Anthem everyday at noon. Food, service, and friendly staff all fantastic! Highly recommend!

We ordered to go from here and there was a missing item but when I called the General Manager handled it and all is good. The best part though....... THE FOOD! It was amazing! I had pulled chicken and the moist brisket with a side of seasonal cheesy potatoes and cornbread. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese and it was gone before I could get a picture! We tried 2 sauces the Smoky Mountain and Memphis Belle! They were both delicious! We will definitely be back!

The place was busy for 4:00pm on a Thursday. I got the brisket plate with two sides. Truthfully, the brisket was on the dry side. The baked beans and mac and cheese were very good. Temperature of meat and sides could have been much hotter. It was lukewarm at best. The cornbread was cold. Would think the cornbread would be kept in a warming drawer before serving. Staff were very friendly!

Wildflower has been a favorite for a while. I'm so sad they no longer carry the sweet potato…read moresandwich though! But I met up with friends for 10am breakfast. There was a steady flow of customers, but not over crowded. Not too bad for a Super Bowl Sunday mid morning get together. I selected the Everything Smoked Salmon sandwich with a side of home fries. The presentation was colorful and inviting. Anytime you can see flavors, you know you're in for a fulfilling treat. I was asked if I would like the bread toasted and of course I affirmed that I did. It was a nice crunch in contrast to a heaping serving of beefy tomato and salmon. The home fries were a nice side dish choice and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tangy blackberry orange lemonade is always a top choice for beverage. All served in good time with a smile. Outdoor seating was plentiful for a great day like today when the weather is perfect.

We've spent a lot here over the years and have always supported and recommended this location. That's why my son's recent experience was so disappointing. He stopped in to get some work done, something he's done many times during slow hours. Sometimes he buys something, sometimes he doesn't, and it has never been an issue. This has always been a welcoming place. This time, a staff member told him he couldn't sit and work unless he purchased something. What made it worse was the explanation: a table of eight older gentlemen "didn't like" that he was sitting there working, and that was the reason he needed to leave or buy something. It wasn't busy, it wasn't about space, and it wasn't about a policy. It was simply another group of customers not liking his presence, and the staff acting on that. After years of loyalty, that was incredibly disappointing. If there's a new policy, that's fine, just communicate it clearly and apply it consistently. Asking a long‑time customer to leave because another table "didn't like" them is not acceptable. This experience genuinely made us rethink continuing to support this location.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a craving for a good burger. You know what I mean: that juicy one that…read moreyou bite into and you immediately need a napkin. The cheese isn't so thin and nonexistent it fairly evaporates into the meat. You taste it because it's good sharp cheddar or thick government cheese. The lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are meaty, and the onions are just there in their aromatic essence - I'm not going to need a breath mint to make it through this date. And, come on, how did I forget about the beef? It can't just be salt and peppered but at least slightly seasoned. Not grisly, dry and not so much meat that it blows out everything else on the bun. Oh, and the sauce. Big stars for not just being thousand island or ranch but some concoction a chef took the time to craft. And why be a scratch kitchen if you are going to slather it with mayo? I won't even order that. Because I hate mayo and I don't want to have to ask for mustard or ketchup or some kind of bottled dressing to make up for the insult of straight mayo. Enter into my life Bubba's 33. I had forgotten about that craving but my husband remembered and found this place for a Friday night date. You walk in and it is so happy. We got there in the sweet spot between super early diners and people who just got off work. I got the burger I just described. To a T. Offered in a comforting, fresh warm bun that was worthy of all it contained. And my husband immediately reached for his napkin. Served with a side of seasoned fries and I asked for ranch for dipping, because I will judge you on your ranch, too. Much respect, Bubba. You did it. As we waited, I had to use the ladies' and happened to see the kitchen on my way. Everyone seems happy to work there, like friends, and maybe that is why the service and food were both top tier. Left happy. Comforted. With a coupon for a free appetizer because the sweet host asks you if it's your first time and then a manager - or some random guy in street clothes rather than a black top like everyone else - comes over and greets you and hands you one. I need to stop writing this because it's only 8:46 am and I want a burger and I have a long day of thrifting and errands in Phoenix that precludes a journey to Bubbas. But, we'll be back! Without even reading this but knowing I am writing this, my husband said he's craving one, too. He said, "That was a goooood burger." lol

Thank you to our server Priscilla for being helpful and checking in on us to see if we needed anything! We ordered Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings and everything was hot and so good. Absolutely loved the Bread that comes with the Spinach & Artichoke. I ordered a Strawberry Margarita which was good and ONLY $5! I got the Crispy Chicken Salad and it was good, but it was huge.
