For several weeks we stop by and one thing or another is not available. Usually the Spuds Today was the last straw, hubby has not been well and spuds are the only thing that sounds good enough to eat. But not today. Again. Not sure why this store does this. Is it management that fails on ordering supplies? Is it the kitchen for not cooking items? Management here has been dicey for a few months now to be honest in Goodyear. When your food comes out cold and mushy and you complain the last thing you expect is a snicker from the " manager" on site. We're done with this location. I'll try the one closer to Tempe just to see if it's this store or all of them. But for my money to be spent on lunch, I'll take it elsewhere. They have a selection of menus at the front so you can figure out what you want before getting in line. For food I ordered the Jalapeño Turkey Crunch sandwich and Kickin Crab Chowder. My Bf ordered the Horseradish Roast Beef & Cheddar sandwich and the Savannah Chopped Salad. We really enjoyed what we got. No complaints. My soup was really flavorful. I was so excited when I seen McAlisters as we don't have one here in Vegas. I got turned on to them when I was in Montgomery Alabama for school. And let me tell you this location did not disappoint. Parking was plentiful and clean not trash etc outside. We walked in and the restaurant was impeccable. Not one dirty table or piece of floor. The staff greeted use very warmly and with smiles. They offered assistance making a decision but not pushy. After a few minutes we order. I got a bowl of the kicking crab chowder and king club. The hubs ordered the black Angus king club and country potatoe soup. So we sit down and wait for our order to be ready. I run off to the girls room and there too was spotless , aways a plus in my book. I head back to the hubs and out food is ready. Less than 10 mins from the time we ordered. I was impressed. Again the staff were super friendly and honestly it felt genuine. When we got back to our hotel room it was time to get to eating. The chowder was amazing I highly recommend it. It was just a small bite to it nothing too spicy and loaded with crab. I do believe I have acquired a favorite. And by club was massive and oh so delicious. My hubs really liked his potatoe soup and he ate every last bite of his Angus sandwich. The roast beef was a beautiful mid rare and very flavorful. He said he would diffently order it again. I was fortunate enough to have leftovers so I know what I am having.g for breakfast tomorrow. I can't wait to go back to AZ in a few days as I am headed back to this location straight away to pig out again. I was excited to try out a new sandwich shop. The place was super clean. The menu was super confusing though. We ordered a sandwich and were told to pick a side, so I picked a salad but that was a $4 up charge. My daughter picked a sandwich and got a side which was fruit which was another up charge. My sister got a sandwich and ordered a soup and that was another upcharge. Everything was an upcharge so it was seriously confusing. Even on the menu the items we did not think were upcharges were. I just got paid and so I was going to place an online order through the app to get the you choose 2 - half of a reuben sandwich and a mac and cheese, but that option was not available. I called their number and waited on hold for 5 minutes to speak to a worker. I then stated what I wanted to order and was told with a big attitude as I was still talking, "NOPE, THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE." The employee from Jamba Juice came over to the McAllister's side to ask for help so she could use the restroom.
