This was my second time to dine at Zara's and it was fantastic. I was pleasantly greeted by Noura and I had the pleasure of her serving me. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyed talking about the food and wanting to know what I was in the mood for. The dish I thoroughly enjoyed that she supported my decision in was the lamb chops and grilled veggies. The seasoning used was excellent and paired so nicely with the mint jam. Gum smacking. Wow!! What a great restaurant. We are visiting from Seattle and found this amazing place. Family owned. On first taste, I exclaimed "this food is made with love!" Walked into Zeta's Grill for dinner and immediately got hit with a triple "welcome!" -- not one, not two, but THREE staff members greeting us at the same time. Okay hospitality love that energy. Service was honestly the highlight of the night. Shoutout to Mark Sanchez -- hilarious, super charismatic, and just made the whole experience fun. 5 stars for him . Menu has a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, which I always appreciate. Everything's clearly labeled, and they're super easygoing about modifications -- just talk to your server and they've got you. Food landed around a solid 3.5/4 for me. The pita and olive oil had potential but came out a little stale and cold ..warmed up, that would've been perfect. My veggie entrée was good, just a bit heavy on the salt for my taste. Nothing bad by any means, and it wouldn't stop me from coming back. I'd definitely want to try something else on the menu next time. The owner serves as chef and his wife as hostess - a true family establishment filled with warmth and pride. This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly by multiple staff members and seated at a large, comfortable table. The ambiance was welcoming and inviting. One of the owners personally took care of us throughout the entire lunch, which made the experience feel even more special. As a thoughtful Valentine's Day touch, my wife and daughter were each given a rose and a Valentine's balloon as we left. We ate here A few months ago and we really did enjoy the food however that day we told our daughter that they were hiring and she got a job the same day. I'm giving a negative review because of the treatment of my daughter who's only 18 This was her first actual job so she had no idea how she should actually be treat treated. They ignored her schedule request multiple times never did the schedule that she needed for school The owner's wife physically took her phone out of her hand as she was walking into work one day she hadn't even clocked in, The owner's wife also smacked my daughter on the back multiple occasions because her back skin was showing when she bent over. I will never step foot in this facility ever again and neither will any of my friends because they treat their employees like absolute garbage. And it was such a big review and I talked all the hype of this place and now the review is nowhere to be seen and I'm sad because there's no way I'm going to be able to be as detailed as I was when I went last July. When I say this is one of THE BEST Mediterranean restaurants I've ever been to, I cannot stress it enough. It was so good I was getting all emotional and teary eyed. No joke. The dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) reminded me of my family's. I almost can never find any that remind me of my family's. That fresh juice I had was AMAZING. The tabouleh was perfect. And this lamb and okra dish? Never had anything like it in my life and it's so good. I'm so sad that this place is so far from home because I want to go back all the time. The service was awesome. I ordered the same thing I did last time which was the beef kabobs with white rice and the meat this time did not have as much flavor and seemed slightly over cooked.The food was definitely edible, but just not as good. As soon as we were seated we were served fresh, warm pita with an excellent olive oil dipping sauce. For lunch I had the Shawarma on hummus. This was served in a bowl and, as the name suggested, was a nice base of excellent hummus with freshly carved shawarma meat served in the middle of the hummus. The garnish around the edge was a Pepperoncini pepper, a pickle and a tomato. The meat was full of flavor and nicely spiced. The hummus was as good as any I had and all of this was served with more fresh pita. When they delivered the food it did not appear to be enough but both my daughter and I took leftovers home. We finished the meal with baklava and would recommend the pistachio baklava in particular. read more
