Went back to Zeta's Grill to satisfy Mediterranean food cravings. Wasn't disappointed! Ambiance was on point, and absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the service delivered by Ameen! He was polite, courteous, and displayed deep knowledge of the menu items and ingredients. His consistent table check-ins were pleasant and professional. The meal satisfied my cravings, and yes, as I mentioned before, I'll be back again. The food (freshness, taste, and amount), and the service, are well worth the money. Updating My Previous Review I'm incredibly disappointed to be updating my review because my previous visits here had been wonderful. This was my 4th visit, and I've recommended Zeta's Grill to others because they had always done such a great job accommodating my severe dairy allergy. Unfortunately, tonight was completely different. Food & Service Almost immediately I noticed things weren't the same. I even politely asked our waiter if the owners had changed because the food and service felt so different from my previous visits. I ordered my usual dinner platter, but: * The lamb came out plain with no onions or bell peppers, even though the menu photo shows both. * The baba ghanoush was missing the pomegranate seeds. * The hummus was much less seasoned than before. * My salad arrived covered in feta cheese despite my dairy allergy. * My grape leaves appetizer never came until I reminded them. * I never received the pita bread that normally comes with the meal and had to ask. * Halfway through dinner they remembered I had ordered saffron rice for the table. It felt like our table kept being forgotten all evening. Food Allergy I have a life-threatening dairy allergy, and I mentioned it multiple times while ordering because previous visits had always been handled so carefully. As we were leaving, my throat began swelling and my ears plugged up. I immediately asked if anything I had eaten contained dairy, including the pita bread. Our waiter went to ask the kitchen. The cook appeared visibly irritated about being questioned, retrieved the pita packaging, and read the ingredients aloud. The second ingredient was whey. By then I had already eaten about half the pita. I had to sit down by the register and use my EpiPen before I could leave. Our Waiter I want to give credit where it's due. Our waiter seemed genuinely concerned and apologized once he realized what had happened. He told me I wouldn't have to pay for my meal. I chose to pay anyway because I didn't feel this was his fault. My frustration is with the kitchen and management, not with him. Other Issues My friends were told their meals included one side, including Greek fries, but were later charged a $4 upcharge. Another friend paid $8 for only two pieces of baklava. When she politely questioned it, the employee became dismissive and insisted only the assorted version came with a full container. After we left, we checked the restaurant's own menu, which lists the assorted baklava for $7.95 for the full container, making the explanation even more confusing. Final Thoughts I brought three friends because I wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants with them. Instead, they watched me have an allergic reaction serious enough to require my EpiPen in the parking lot. I've always spoken highly of Zeta's Grill, which makes this even harder to write. I sincerely hope management reviews their allergy procedures. A food allergy isn't a preference--it can become a life-threatening emergency in minutes. read more

I initially wanted the okra stew but it wasn't available. Service was great... love the ambience! The alternative i ordered was good. Will def try other dishes next time we're in the area. read more

Walked into Zeta's Grill for dinner and immediately got hit with a triple "welcome!" -- not one, not two, but THREE staff members greeting us at the same time. Okay hospitality love that energy. Service was honestly the highlight of the night. Shoutout to Mark Sanchez -- hilarious, super charismatic, and just made the whole experience fun. 5 stars for him . Menu has a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, which I always appreciate. Everything's clearly labeled, and they're super easygoing about modifications -- just talk to your server and they've got you. Food landed around a solid 3.5/4 for me. The pita and olive oil had potential but came out a little stale and cold ..warmed up, that would've been perfect. My veggie entrée was good, just a bit heavy on the salt for my taste. Nothing bad by any means, and it wouldn't stop me from coming back. I'd definitely want to try something else on the menu next time. Also, small touch but worth mentioning -- our server held the door open for us on the way out. That kind of service sticks with you. Great service, good food, and a spot I'd come back to . read more

Zeta's is just fantastic! Under the same ownership, they have undergone some major changes: new decor, new staff, revised menu... and all of these changes seem for the better (not that there was anything wrong to begin with). We will continue to frequent them as one of our favorite lunch spots, and we do hope you give them a shot too. Good food, good people, who could ask for more? read more

I got a small lunch greek salad and 6 small Baklava for takeout for $29? Has about a 1/4 cup of feta.. No wonder the restaurant was empty. I had to get home and was starving so didn't complain. Im so sick of being ripped off by these restaurants. read more

It is always a delight to dine at Zeta's when I am in town visiting family. The quality of the grilled meat selection is always superb and the fresh baked pita from the oven, dipped in herbed olive oil is the perfect accompaniment to every meal . Our experience with wait staff is always pleasant, but today, the exceptional service and personable, engaging manner of our server, Mark inspired me to write a few well-deserved words of appreciation on behalf of this warm and flavorful local establishment! - JC read more

Very good! Very empty and quiet place, I'm surprised it doesn't have more patrons. Delicious food, server was constantly refilling drinks before we could ask for them. The warm bread they bring out is so good, and I really liked the salad dressing. read more

Ordered online and the Lunch menu is not accurate. they have a picture of fries and the Gyro for the lunch special and when i picked up my food, it did not come with fries. so you will pay 11.45 for just a gyro and then have to end up paying 8$ for a side of fries. On the lunch menu in store it says 11.45 for BOTH. this is my first visit and i'm frustrated and will never be coming back even if the food is good. this is how restaurants take advantage of people and there money. read more

Been coming here for years! The food is always so authentic. Our server Michaela was absolutely wonderful..she had a great helper who cleaned up also. Being the only waitress at that time was super impressive how patient, friendly and completely accommodating. Definitely returning! read more

Great chicken kabob and delicious grilled veggies, and our waiter Mark Sanchez was fun and so helpful!

First time here and the wife and I both tried something new for us. Her the grilled cauliflower wrap and myself the cut vegetables with chicken in spices which were described as Cajun. The food was very fresh the place was clean and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. The reason we did 4 rather than 5 was the Cajun flavor was very mild rather than bold and full of flavor. We will be back to try more of the menu although read more

The gyro combo + pistachio baklava was great. Mark was our server, really good service!

I honestly do not see a need to ever dine anywhere else! The best meal I've had in a while! Everything was so fresh and delicious! The service was incredible, very attentive and kind! They were so generous giving us tasty hummus, salad, and the best baklava and ice cream I have ever had just because it was my birthday! The ambiance was so calming and I loved looking at the different decor on the walls! Quite possibly the best falafel ever! The prices were amazing as well, especially for the fresh ingredients and overall quality of everything! I am Syrian, and the food reminded me of how my family used to make it! 10/10 recommend! read more

Order spicy gyro, had no spice or had no Tzatziki sauce. Waitress said it did so had to show her. And second order was a chicken Shawarma, look more like a burrito. Never seen a shawarma wrap toasted. read more

If you like Mediterranean/Lebanese food, this is the spot that absolutely wins hands-down. The servers, Mark and Makayla were fantastic. They treat you like family. The food is fresh, and tasty. Atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. Price Is 100% reasonable. read more

I normally order the lamb or beef shish kabob, based on reviews I thought I'd try the chicken shawarma. It was dry and hard to chew and minimal flavor, I tossed the leftovers after two small meals...I had no fulfillment eating this standby dish. read more

Another staple of the West Valley finest restaurants. Food and service is top notch. Every time my wife and I visit we feel like family. The food is so good; you will be satisfied and wanting more by the time you are finished. Definitely the best Mediterranean dining in the valley. read more

Lunch special chicken shawarma LITERALLY?!? We are right around the corner and it was cold when we got home. Dry dark meat seems it was leftovers from the previous week.. not sure it was even chicken it was so dry and tiny fat membranes in every other bite. 2-3 DROPS OF "Garlic sauce" that didn't taste like anything from a natural source. Almost tastes like whipped lard or vegetable shortening. First time trying this place in my neighborhood, but never again if they can serve "something" like this. read more

Owner gave the wrong order to someone else and had the person come back to the restaurant with the food. Immediately gave me the food. Bag was not secured and opened. I KNOW for a fact a wrote a review for this place! Like along time ago! And it was such a big review and I talked all the hype of this place and now the review is nowhere to be seen and I'm sad because there's no way I'm going to be able to be as detailed as I was when I went last July. When I say this is one of THE BEST Mediterranean restaurants I've ever been to, I cannot stress it enough. It was so good I was getting all emotional and teary eyed. No joke. The dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) reminded me of my family's. I almost can never find any that remind me of my family's. That fresh juice I had was AMAZING. The tabouleh was perfect. And this lamb and okra dish? Never had anything like it in my life and it's so good. I'm so sad that this place is so far from home because I want to go back all the time. The service was awesome. I complimented them on everything before I left and told them their food reminded me of home. It was such a homie feel inside. It had the perfect Mediterranean aesthetic going on. I'm ready, so ready to go back read more

Wow!! What a great restaurant. We are visiting from Seattle and found this amazing place. Family owned. On first taste, I exclaimed "this food is made with love!" We had the special lamb shank w saffron rice. And a combo plate with chicken skewer, hummus and baba ganosh. So good. Deep flavors. Chicken dine perfectly. Not dry. Owner came to say hello. Disappointed! We doordashed 2 - Ribeye kabobs, chicken shawarma and ended up with 2 Lamb kabob meals. We are not fans of lamb at all. It was inedible and we ended up not being able to eat. Zeta's Grill is something special. Our family went for lunch on Valentine's Day and had the most beautiful experience. The owner serves as chef and his wife as hostess - a true family establishment filled with warmth and pride. The food was extraordinary -- fresh, deeply flavorful, and wholly authentic Lebanese cuisine. The chef came to our table to introduce himself and ensure everything was perfect. Every detail felt intentional from the long-stem roses for the ladies to a balloon for our little girl. For a moment, it didn't feel like Arizona at all. It felt like travel, culture, and genuine hospitality wrapped into one meal. An unforgettable experience. read more

We have enjoyed this restaurant a great deal, however our last visit was disappointing. One table occupied yet we waited at length for service. Beer served was room temperature. They had only one varietal of wine and we were told they had no more when a second glass was requested. Food delivered to the table was lacking items listed on menu description. What food we received was very tasty. Disappointing experience, unsure if we will return. read more

. . . ( background dreamy music). . . "I'mmm, dreaming of a whiiiite -PITA- . . . unlike the ones, I use to knooooow. . ." SERIOUSLY, after eating here for the first time recently, I said to my friend; "All I want for Christmas are PITAS from ZETAS'!!!" They are moist, soft, and taste like sweet YEAST ROLLS! Addictive. I think of them often. So much so, I have looked up recipes to make my own at home. . . because I'm out of state. . . BOO-HOO. . . (sniff). But if YOU live in Arizona, you should give this place a visit! We have LOTS of Mediterranean restaurants where I come from, and I have my 'favorite'. Zeta's has BEAT it and ruined me. We ordered Vegetarian plates, and EVERYTHING on it, had its own distinct flavor. We each ordered an additional kebab on the side to check them out. One was chicken and the other was beef. They also offered a fillet mignon kebab. . . hmmmm. The freshest ingredients and BEST tasting hummus I have EVER had! They also have HOUSE MADE buttery baklava also! I DO want my Christmas wish granted . . . ;) read more

Always great food at Zeta's with a variety of dishes for anyone's tastes. We dined last Saturday night and the atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. We were also rewarded with Mark S. as our waiter. Great enthusiasm with humor as well as knowledge of the menu. read more

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly by multiple staff members and seated at a large, comfortable table. The ambiance was welcoming and inviting. One of the owners personally took care of us throughout the entire lunch, which made the experience feel even more special. The food was outstanding -- the vegetables were fresh and flavorful, and the meat was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. As a thoughtful Valentine's Day touch, my wife and daughter were each given a rose and a Valentine's balloon as we left. The owner and chef even came out to check on us and have a genuine conversation about our experience. It truly felt like the restaurants of old -- where hospitality, attention to detail, and personal connection really mattered. The time, effort, and attention to the little things were incredibly refreshing. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

We ate here A few months ago and we really did enjoy the food however that day we told our daughter that they were hiring and she got a job the same day. I'm giving a negative review because of the treatment of my daughter who's only 18 This was her first actual job so she had no idea how she should actually be treat treated. They ignored her schedule request multiple times never did the schedule that she needed for school The owner's wife physically took her phone out of her hand as she was walking into work one day she hadn't even clocked in, The owner's wife also smacked my daughter on the back multiple occasions because her back skin was showing when she bent over. I will never step foot in this facility ever again and neither will any of my friends because they treat their employees like absolute garbage. It is not OK to put your hands on anyone and if my daughter would've allowed me, I would've reported you to the state so here I am making this review have the day you deserve. read more
