Let me be dramatic for a second, because this bathroom situation deserves it. The subs were good, the service was fine... but the bathroom? Oh. My. God. Why on Earth is there a giant, ridiculous lock on the door like it's protecting national secrets? And then--THEN--you have to go on a full adventure to get a key. Not a simple grab-and-go key, no. You stand there waiting in line because you can't just ask a regular employee for it--only the checkout person has the key behind the register. It's almost like you're trying to check out a library book just to use the restroom. I'm standing there thinking, "Is this really happening? Is this the Hunger Games of bathroom access?" No one should have to spiritually prepare themselves to pee. By the time I finally got the key, I felt like I had earned an achievement. I have never had an issue with Firehouse and they have the best Deli in my opinion, so it's 5-stars for me! Sometimes it may a little slow getting our meal, but I love their hot sandwich selections and am happy to wait. The dining area is large and have never had an issue with seating. This time I got the BBQ brisket and was not disappointed. It had a just a little BBQ sauce with mayo, which I thought it was a great combo. Also, I love the soda machine. I went in to Firehouse at around 10:15 today, I was the only one in the store, with two people behind the cook line. They took my order great they were polite, but then I get home to realize that part of what I ordered, and paid more for, is out of my order completely. I paid for extra salami on my salad which is damn near half the price of the salad itself, and it's nowhere in my salad, there's brown welts all over the tomatoes that they put in my salad. And then to top it all off, you can't get through to any of their phone numbers. I called the phone number for the parkway village firehouse, and a very polite lady named Alyssa picked up the phone and tried to help me twice because when I was transferred over to the actual store the first time they hung up on me. When you dial 3 to speak to a manager, your call rings until you're timed out and disconnected. And when you call their customer service line you're disconnected as well. There is absolutely no way to file a complaint or get my order fixed, without having to waste my gas going back down there, or filling out a stupid survey online. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and I will not WASTE my money on the below subpar food again. My husband and I haven't had Firehouse subs in a bit and went to this location for a late lunch. I ordered the Hook & Ladder that consisted of ham & turkey on wheat bread, and he ordered the Meatball sub with provolone. We both got combo's that included chips & drink. When we were getting our drinks, I noticed the drink counter hadn't been cleaned and the tea dispenser caddy was dirty. When we sat down, we noticed a few tables needed to be cleaned as well. Granted, I know there were only two employees behind the counter fixing orders and probably hadn't had time to stop to clean. I started to eat my sandwich and saw that there was a few pieces of wilted & brown lettuce. I mentioned to my husband that those who are making the sandwiches are moving in the fast lane and aren't paying attention to detail. A few minutes after that a gentleman was sitting his stuff on the table beside us and I saw that he prob was the manager so I asked if he was and conveyed my concerns. He was thankful for my input and indicated he doesn't like an unclean restaurant. He immediately started cleaning. Kudos to a manager who respects customer concerns and acts upon it. Also, when you're looking for the Suite number on Yelp it shows #110, but the number on their door is #111. I inquired about that with the manager and he said their address is actually both Suite's because they're complex is split. Just something to think about. read more

We just went for our second visit. The sub was delicious, but the service was not good. Another guest that came in after my husband was nicely greeted. He was ignored for 3-5 minutes. We placed our order online to be picked up at 1:15 pm. They did not start making the sub until we got there. The offer was for a free drink. The person at the front of assembly line was nasty & rude. He became involved when my husband asked for the free drink. He slammed a small glass down, said it was for water. My husband told him he was to get a free pop with the sandwich. He nastily said it had to be pre-ordered. No where on your site did it say that. His actions & attitude may have lost you a repeat customer. It's a relatively new fast casual restaurant that a friend told me about so we decided to try it. The service was not the best and the food well...my first thought was very underwhelming. You would think a place like this wiuld have more to offer than just a theme but no. I dont think I would come back to a place that has ten different types of hot sauce to go with your bland food. Firehouse Serves up good subs and salads. First, I have to say the service at Firehouse Subs is great! The staff welcomes you when you walk through the door. On this visit to Firehouse Subs. Upon arriving we were met by an employee handing out menus. My sister and I were asked if it was our first visit to Firehouse Subs. I said "no" however, my sister said "yes". Just came in on 2/22/22 and Dan was so wonderful. He was so nice when taking our order & checking to see if we needed anything during and after our meal. The food came out amazing. We asked for extra firehouse sauce and they gave us full sauce containers instead of just a tiny bit like other places. Their cookies are delicious too! I visited your store today at 5:15 and there was a girl cashier and one guy making sandwiches two other families came in after me. It wasn't the usual good experience I normally have at Firehouse. It took a total of 30 min from the time I ordered to the time I received my sandwiches I realize I ordered 6 sandwiches three small and three medium but only the one guy in a blue shirt was making sandwiches the girl who's name tag said manager did nothing at all. She stood there just watching the guy. Two more families ordered and they also waited a while. She also stood there and watched at one point he stoped making sandwiches and just talked to the girl then she left him and went to the back. Our sandwiches came out two at a time and the guy in the blue shirt who made them and brought them said he was sorry for the delay but was experiencing an emergency. He didn't say much else. We finally got our sandwiches and someone else in a red shirt got there to help out. The girl never returned. But again she was no help because she stood there and did nothing. If her role is truly manager she should have stepped in and helped out it's the right thing to do. read more

Worst sub we ever had. 2 hot subs. When we got them home to eat, the entire bottom buns were soaked. Slop. Here the steam trays left the meat wet and they just transferred the meat to buns. Disgusting. Never again. They forgot to turn the fire hose off!!!! Yuk read more

New to Goodyear. Have been to this location several times since "pandemic". Not consistent with their "policies" whatsoever and have employees who are clueless on how to even answer a simple question. Walked in, not a customer in site unlike last time, there were a few. Was asked where's my mask. I can not wear a mask and medically exempt. They refused service unless i stood outside while they make sandwiches but had no problem speaking to me while there without a customer in site. Two stars because my small Italian sub was not bad even though their toaster broke down when I arrived and they were unable to toast the sandwich. The worst part was the customer service. My greeting was " are you here for a pick up order?" With a very rude tone and demeanor and when I said no the person just walked away and that was that. I proceeded to go to the register and the woman behind it told me that the toaster had just broken down and if I still wanted to order and they said yes no problem and she proceeded to take my order without a thank you or is there anything else I can get you. The line that makes the sandwiches is extremely slow I waited for about 15 minutes before I got my sandwich. Needless to say I will not be back. My family loves Firehouse Subs and we are so glad to have a location now in Goodyear. We have stopped by twice and had great customer service and the food to go along with it. You can always trust Firehouse to be a step up on its competitors. Places like Subway and Jimmy Johns do not stand a chance against the quality Firehouse puts out. They have assortment of varying hot sauces nearby to try and taste. The place has a theme of a firehouse. Well, I'll start off by saying I've visited this Firehouse Sub location many times over the past month. Each time I've visited it's been a wonderful experience. All of the staff is great. But, I must say the GM Dan and A.D. stands out. Both are a pleasure to talk to. A.D. is new to the Firehouse team but she certainly is a + for this location team. Again, let me reiterate everyone at this location has been very nice and welcoming. Dan and A.D. are the two I've had the most encounter with. After observing everyone and realized that A.D. is a very hard working young lady, and she greets everyone. Constantly busy doing things. From cleaning and running the register and I'm sure making food. I have noticed that everyone ALWAYS wash their hands after doing anything other than making sandwiches. So, I HIGHLY recommend this Firehouse location. And thanks what ALL Firehouse Subs do for First Responders. That alone gives them 3 up! I thought this would be a good experience. I ordered two sandwiches and a side of chili to go. When I got home and started to eat the chili, the paper bowl fell apart at the bottom, burning my hand and dumping chili all over my rug as I ran to the sink to drop the bowl. Waste of $3.99. The sandwich I ate was soggy from the drive home and lacked any sort of veggies except for a tiny bit of lettuce. I had asked for the works, pickle, tomato, etc. The staff was friendly and the shop was clean. However, I feel this stop was a waste of $18.00.
