First, we had high expectations because we've enjoyed the location in buckeye. This time, however, was not great. We got here at noon on a Saturday - and expected it to be busy. Not so. Unfortunately, every table was dirty and it seemed to take an unnecessary amount of time to get our lunch. Hubby and I both ordered the Turkey Salsa Verde. Neither sandwich had any salsa at all. He actually asked for a side so we could add a little flavor. He was given one thimble sized cup for us to share. My daughter had the kids meatball. Her sandwich was the tastiest of the three, but she did not get the fire hat or dessert that is supposed to come with kid meals. Employees were disinterested and clearly lacking in the details associated with their product. We will avoid returning here and continue making Jersey Mike's our sandwich place of choice. read more

Went in here and got totally ripped off two medium subs $26.80!!!! I asked for a cheesesteak no papers and the girl says but mushrooms are ok so I said sure then she charged me $1!!! My daughter orders a ham and pepperoni sandwich and they charged $2 for pepperoni this place sucks and they try to up sell as they have their tip jar out!!! I have always had good service at the Firehouse Subs, and really enjoy being able to order through their app and run in to get it.

My husband and I decided last minute last night to visit this location. We are are so happy we did because the service provided by Joe (whom I believe is the manager there) was absolutely exceptional!! He went above and beyond in helping me decide on a sandwich and his overall friendly, outgoing engagement made a for a wonderful customer experience. Food is still good. BUT price is a little high now. I paid $11 for a medium sandwhich, chips, and a drink. Then, like many places, they ask for donations and to round up. I'm really tired of businesses asking for donations. I'm retired and live on a fixed income as well as helping family members that are having financial challenges right now. Unbelievable. Just sat in here waiting for an order to go for 40+ minutes. They apparently lost my order. Attention to detail is ridiculous, how do you lose an order?!? Great food! The sandwiches have great flavor and taste. Given that America now is a fast paced country and we want things fast, at a restaurant such a this it should have a positive vibe to the shop. Long wait for one salad. Dining room was not full so was expecting a short wait. Girls behind line kept asking how to make each sandwich. Employee out on the floor cleaning with gloves on would handle food with the same gloves. I was able to talk to one of the managers. The manager corrected the behavior right away. Great turkey bacon ranch, always fresh, great friendly service, for me fresh bread makes the sub, and I never have had stale bread there. I just wish they were a little cheaper, but they do have a rewards program, so with that it makes it a little more affordable. read more

The ordering process was tedious enough but when I went to pick up our food it was a disaster. There were 2 signs on one girl. One was for orders one was for pickups. I went to the pickup side. I had to wait for two families with six kids to order before the girl would acknowledge me. My order was sitting on top of a microwave getting cold the whole time. Tried Firehouse Subs again since a new location opened up by my house. I ordered and Italian and all it had was a sweet taste and was soggy. I was not expecting a sweet sandwich and could not finish it because it was way too sweet. I looked at the ingredients to try and figure out what is sweet on the thing and the only possible thing is the Italian Dressing which I'm not used to being sweet. read more

Came here just before noon on Christmas Eve and glad it was open. There was a couple there and no line. I was given the time to decide on my order and the server/cashier was quick and pleasant. Enjoyed the Firehouse Subs in Buckeye so decided to try the new Goodyear location. Disappointed in the slow service at this location. Engineer Sub was okay. Nothing special. Took way too long to have my order taken and then just as long to have it prepared. It's clean and new which is nice. TV'S with the Olympics on was also nice. Just let down by the service. read more

So, I'm gonna start off by saying the food is good and that's the only reason they are getting more than 1 star. So why only 2 stars? Im glad you asked. They push the fact that they donate soooooo much to life saving fire equipment and I believe that to be false. They do donate but their contribution is minuscule. I'll break it down for you. Firehouse donates a whopping .11 percent (that's .0011 if you're multiplying) of every sale made. If every firehouse subs location averaged 250 sales a day at an average of $40 a sale, each location would raise $4k a year. Not too bad? Wrong! If you break that down a bit further that would equal about $80 a year to each fire station in the U.S. At that rate, it would take almost 23 years to purchase 1 SCBA air bottle. It seems to me that the overwhelming majority of money donated comes from our donations at the register, to which they claim as the companies donation. I say booooo to them and their misleading advertisements! Now, the only true number in this scenario is the .11%. The rest is made up by me to give you an idea of what's going on. The actual numbers could be more or even less than those. read more

I do love me some Firehouse! I usually eat at this location once a week, or at least once every two weeks. I prefer the italian, but others are also good. I always eat at the location because I am peculiar about my sub getting soggy. read more

I really loved the theme of this restaurant! The floor plan is good, its very clean and the staff was great! However, the subs were just ok and on the small side. I could only order a salad because Im gluten intolerant. They should offer gf bread for an up charge..pretty simple solution. Anyways, my salad was small too. It would not cost that much to put more lettuce in there! I probably wont go back unless they literally beef up th samwiches! read more

For the first time ever I have found a delicious and healthy wheat bun! I tried the Hook & laddder light and it was delicious. The meat in the sub was very juicy, not like your typical subway sub. When it comes to this place I do believe you pay for the quality and taste.The customer service was also great! read more

It was nice to be greeted coming in. I have never been before. The man working the registrar seemed clueless. I ordered two cheese steak subs. No peppers ... no onions. Produce doesn't come in until Monday. The young lady and man behind the counter seemed out of sorts. But nice. Hire more employees.
