Absolutely the worst when I order a sandwich with no cheese because I hate cheese only to arrive home and the sandwich has melted cheese on it. I even asked the cashier again "you put NO CHEESE" right. Oh yes she replied. And who serves a Ruben on a bun? Gross what happened to this place. Dont they have bread anymore? Was fresh bread so much harder than buns? And skimping on pickles? It like you took and pickle spear and sliced it in half the rolled it in a napkin? This isn't deli. read more

Good Food, friendly service. For the price, my meal was great. I had a fresh sandwich and chips.

Two attempts to eat at this location a week apart and both times it had to be at least 90 degrees in the restaurant. When we asked why their AC hadn't been fixed in the week since we were there last, we were told that the owner had just been there and said it would be fixed soon. Terrible job on the part of the owner and the management. Horrible environment for the customer and must be illegal working conditions for the employees. Do better - it's really not that hard!! read more

My wife and I went here to try out their sandwiches, we got a sandwiches off the menu. They were both very tasty and filling. We also got two orders of chips and two drinks. The staff was very friendly and the order didn't take long. I'll be back read more

Unbelievable. Seriously Schlotsky's: you have a big problem. My order was $36. This is a lot for fast food so I expect it to be right. EMPLOYEES SMOKING IN THE KITCHEN NOT CIGARETTES!!!! There was no salami on my turkey original. Drive through lady told me to park and wait for it to be remade. Fine. Some brain dead employee brings it out to me and it's hard as a rock and burned. I went in the store and told them it was unacceptable; to please use new bread. In that process, the employee began SMOKING in the kitchen when he took the sandwich back!!!!!! There was another male employee in the kitchen as well. Brought me try 2 which was also burned and had no extra mozzarella. Employee who brought the sandwich to my car but didn't take the order told me I 'never said nothin' about extra cheese' and it's not on the ticket'. He was swaying from side to side and kept saying 'ya, I got ya' and did not allow to tell him what was on the sandwich before taking it back to kitchen and arguing with me.I asked several times to speak to the girl who took my order but he told me he was the only one there and 'she must be on a bathroom break'. In the meantime, the girl who took my order returned from her break and brought me again, a barely passable sandwich. Bread was still burned. Apparently, they kept reheating the same sandwich 3 times. I eat here about once a week so I know what the bread is supposed to be like. My sandwich order was the turkey original with nothing else but the meat, adding extra cheese and extra olives. You'd think that would be an easy order. I got 10 bags of the chips because I love them and you can't buy them anywhere but Schlotsky's making my order $36. I told her they were smoking in the kitchen and of course 'she doesn't know what they do'. I am calling the health department immediately. Who the hell is managing there!! This happened at 4:15 Monday February 2 so you can check your camera footage for yourself. read more

I love their food but they constantly get the orders wrong through the drive through. Of course I didn't check today when I ordered a club sandwich. Got all the way home and it's a turkey & avocado. This is not the first time they've gotten this exact order messed up. I don't understand since the receipt is correct. I absolutely DESPISE avocado. I'd throw the whole thing away if I wasn't so hungry. Excuse me, I need to go scrape this disgusting green goop off my lunch read more

Decide to give it another chance came In Wednesday night was helped by young guy name Nathan I believe it was his name on the receipt let me tell you the young guy had very good customer service and had tons of patience AWSOME JOB we were told by the manager KIMBERLY he's new but he did great job also Kimberly store manager did a great job, food was great better then other times tasted fresh!!! This location is always so clean and it's great that the quality of the food never changes it is always outstanding

Apparently the manager had a personal vendetta against customers requesting a refund. There was a Hair in sandwich, he claimed they wear hair nets so nothing he could do about it read more

The sandwich was completely terrible. The food was good and fresh, but this is not what I ordered. Also didn't expect the service of the restaurant to have a round sub sandwich but this definitely doesn't look like a sourdough and it's definitely not in a sub bread. I can't speak on ambience, but I can tell you it's like eight dollars for a very small 4 ounces of soup 4 dollars soda that's average. My sandwich is soggy. I got it delivered and paid extra for priority and it came in a Cinnabon bag. No utensils as requested. I definitely want this remade or a refund preferably a remade one day with the correct bread and my pickle and just make it right. read more

This is hands down my favorite sandwich place! The staff is always super friendly, and I really appreciate how welcoming the vibe is every time I visit. Their rewards program is awesome almost every other visit ends up being discounted or free, which makes it even better. The sandwiches are a great size for the price. My favorite is the Turkey Original, the black olives are the perfect touch and take an already delicious sandwich to the next level. Highly recommend! read more

Schlotzsky's - My lunch! - Sandwiches Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

I stopped in this store on Thursday 9/26/2025 around 4:15 p.m. I hadn't had a Schlotzsky's meal in a few years and thought I'd get an order to go. I went inside to place my order. There were no other customers inside or in the drive thru...it was empty. I ordered two regular original sandwiches and a side of macaroni and cheese and a medium soft drink. I got my order to go. I got home after a 20 minute drive only to find out the side of macaroni and cheese was missing from my to go order and both sandwiches were soaking wet...the bread was soaking wet and disgusting. I called the store and put on hold. Finally a store rep answered my complaint and asked me to drive back for the missing side of Mac and cheese. No thank you. Not worth it. The Mac and cheese was $5.49 and my entire order came to more than $25.00. ridiculous.... I will never return to Schlotzsky's again. The food and service at this store was terrible. No wonder this place was empty...not another customer in sight during my visit. The food is way overpriced and the sandwiches were soggy and lacking any flavor. The service was awful. Avoid this place and go someplace else. There are plenty of competing fast food joints nearby that are far better in quality and service. read more

After a LOOOONG break from this establishment due to horrible service and ridiculous wait times, wow what a difference. The food was hot, fresh and quick. Sure today's inflation has put a cramp on affordability but the improvement and new speed of service certainly makes up for it. Not much better than the thin, light, fluffy, crunch of Schlotzsky's original sourdough bread. So happy to have come by today. read more

Ugh. Really upset that this meal was a dub because I spent $25 on it. I was initially excited, because the sandwiches were huge, but was quickly disappointed when I began to eat mine. I ordered the Veggie Burger without checking it's contents. I assumed it would contain avocado or something else as a base, but the "meat" was just replaced with black olives covered in melted cheese. Yuck. It was like someone melted cheese onto a salad and put it between buns. While I'm on the subject, the buns were subpar as well. The Bacon Beef Cheeseburger or whatever it's called was okay. Decent enough for me to give Schlotzskys two stars instead of one. My spouse and I most definitely will not be returning. read more

Love this place! I'm always greeted with kindness. Sandwiches are delicious and fresh, Pricey but worth it. Come check this place out!!

Pizza wasn't too bad for $10. Better than the competition in my opinion. Got a 'Meaty' 10 inch and an unsweetened iced tea. After taxes and tip it was $16 and change. Pizza was flavorful and a good amount of sauce. Really like the crust. Staff seemed friendly and my food was out of the oven pretty quick. read more

The only reason why I couldn't get five stars because I was so upset that I ordered a Cinnabon and it's the same price as if you were to purchase at a mall location yet the actual cinnamon bun is half of the size. That's neither here nor there, just me being greedy LOL, but the taste was great and I got a breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. I didn't even know they had breakfast I just wanted a Cinnabon. I didn't care for the onions, peppers and potatoes, but that's was my oversight and I'll ask them to leave those off next time. Finally, I wanted to point out the service that I received. I am a huge stickler for a good customer service, but with Covid so much has gone downhill. The young lady that was working the drive-through this morning was amazing. She was super sweet very friendly and nothing changed when I arrived at the window ...the same attitude and it really put me in a good mood. I didn't catch her name, but I really wish I could commend her directly because she was awesome and sometimes it's so easy to complain about poor service we forget to applaud great service. I'm Not exaggerating I know her attitude will take her far in life. I'll definitely return on my next cheat day! read more

Dr. Brown As Maurice approached the register, he greeted me with a smile and was very nice. I was very impressed with Maurice professionalism and his customer service presence was fantastic . I was so pleased with the friendly service I received from Maurice as he went above and beyond to help me find the perfect meals for my family. His attention to detail made a difference for me as he took his time and repeated my order back to me to ensure the order was correct. Because of Maurice smile and friendliness, today I had an excellent experience and I am a happy and highly satisfied customer that will be sure to return to this location. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The ambiance was peaceful and unhurried which created the right atmosphere to help make me feel comfortable. I would like to leave a 5-star review for Maurice performance as a team member/worker. read more

Very slow service. I ordered a veggie sandwich and there were no olives on it. Pretty expensive for a couple pieces of bread, lettuce, onion, small chunks of cucumber and virtually no tomatoes. It's been years since I've been to a Schlotsky's and I was reminded why today. read more

I use to love this restaurant... I go in today for the smoky avacado veggie... It's no longer available. Then it takes 10 minutes to explain to the girl behind the counter I don't want meat and I come in for the smokey a avacado sandwich. So I ordered a smokey veggie and I don't get smokey and the person making the sandwich ask if they can do a veggie in size large. OMG... In short the was the worst sandwich I have ever had anywhere, and I didn't get all the veggies it said it came with. So disappointing. That was my LAST trip to the restaurant forever.... And I'm going to tell my entire family about it. I got bread I even think they forgot the cheese with lettuce cucumber and what look like a few black olives... They forgot the dressing and they forgot the onion.... But I did get one extra pickle woohoo. NEVER AGAIN. Shame on you schlotzsky's deli. read more

Schlotzsky's - The worst sandwich in The last 5 years of going to this restaurant. - Sandwiches Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

To me, this is the best hot sandwich anywhere! As a native Texan, I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with Schlotzsky's. From there, I moved to California for 30 years for employment. Schlotzsky's was my most missed Texas restaurant! NOooooo! Every visit home included a visit to Schlotzsky's. While in California I even created a copycat recipe using English muffins. It got me through the darkest Schlotzsky's drought of my life! I now live in Arizona, and now enjoy them regularly, especially during the COVID shutdown. I appreciate their dedication and safety practices. Okay, If you have not had a Schlotzsky, It has a toasted sour dough bun with ham, salami, melted cheddar, black olives, onion, tomato and lettuce. It comes together like no other sandwich that I've had. You must try the original! Schlotzsky's is not like any other deli. The last time I was in, the Franchise owner greeted me and checked on my order. We had a very nice conversation while I was waiting. He took the time to tell me how appreciative he was of my business. That is rare... This owner does care and I appreciate his dedication to our community. Thanks to the whole crew! I'm glad you're here! read more

Great food! Amazing staff! BOGO Pizza Wednesdays and Cinnabon!! Personal favorite is the Pastrami Stacker it has amazing 1000 island dressing that just send your taste buds to the moon!! And if you don't like the sauerkraut and 1000 they have it with just swiss and dijon mustard! Second choice would be the original it reminds me of an Italian sandwich. My third would the the Tuscan Sandwich.... it is made on a Ciabatta bread and has chipotle mayo, avocados, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, a hand carved turkey and bacon it is a beautiful sandwich and very filling! And the broccoli and cheddar soup is perfect!! They have a pick 2 and you can get half and half of anything on the menu!!!! I visit a lot!!! read more

Got there 10 min. Before closing. Person at window was friendly and professional. Felt like they appreciated my business. We got cinnabons from here about a year ago and they were old and dry. Today we thought we would give them a 2nd chance as its the closest Cinnabon location to us. We told them about our experience last time and so this time the cinnabons were fresh but they were definitely lacking that cream cheese flavor that makes it a "cinnabon". Taste like an imitation version. I would recommend driving to a Cinnabon only location whereas this location is part deli part cinnabon read more

We came here because of a recommendation from a friend and my sister got a hair in her sandwich. And the staff laughed at her. The guy making the sandwiches is not wearing a hair net. This place deserves no more than 2 out of 5 stars at most! The food was edible, but MEDIOCRE at best! I wish they put more effort in how the food tastes, like they do with the packaging of the food. Very weird! Lol -Yesterday my friend & I ordered the Original with no mustard & no Parmesan! Unfortunately, they decided to run with the 2 things we wanted to omit & leave out a lot more other items, that belonged on the sandwich! Smh ‍ -We ordered a Caesar salad as well & it came with no dressing & parts of chicken on the salad, were either not fully cooked or just starting to go bad. -I added my OWN condiments because they added none as well as a few other items that they chose to leave off! The average comments & ratings on Yelp for this establishment are the truth, the ones on DoorDash, are not! Patrons, please save your hard earned money. Go dine elsewhere or order to go from somewhere better! The ppl who eat here & leave 4 to 5 stars must be sick or think mayonnaise is spicy! This place, isn't it! read more
