We really enjoyed NYPD pizzas location in Phoenix so we came to give this location a try. We arrived or a pretty empty lunch time which was great because we were seated right away. We started with salad and zucchini as an appetizer while we decided on why pizza to get. Our server was quick to bring our drinks over. Once we ordered our pizza it took quite a while and that's when we were informed they made it wrong so they were remaking it. While I appreciate that they told us we were literally starving at that point. While the pizza was good it was a big doughy like they were in a rush to get the second one out. Service was good and we left so full. Inside is pretty nice. I loved the large mirrors it makes the place feel larger when the light hits them. Even with the mishap we'd come again. read more

First time here and I don't think u will go back. I tried the margarita pizza and it had no flavor. I had to put salt on my pizza who does that well I had to because that's how bad it didn't have flavor. I did enjoy there honey hot wings but other then that I don't think I will go back. read more

This was my first visit to the establishment. I was greeted by the staff with unprofessional jokes directed at me, even made the cashier feel uncomfortable. The individuals preparing the pizzas clearly lacked basic skills in pizza-making. I specifically requested that both pies be cooked well done. Unfortunately, the cheese pizza and the Margherita pizza were both bland and flavorless. The Margherita, in particular, was severely undercooked, with raw dough in the center. This left me with no confidence that the food had been prepared in good faith or with proper care. I did not feel comfortable bringing the pizzas home. Instead, I went to Barros to provide my family with a proper meal and to avoid any potential cross-contamination risks from the original order. The overall experience reflected a clear lack of attention to quality, food safety, and customer service. I brought my concerns to the manager; however, witnessing how unhinged and unprofessional his staff behaved in his immediate presence gave me serious concerns about his lack of control. We went to NYPD on Saturday for lunch and this is no ordinary lunch I haven't seen my nephew in about a year and we wanted to spend some quality time together and have a really nice lunch so I thought NYPD would be good since he's never eaten there before. When we got our large pepperoni pizza it was so hard couldn't even cut it with a knife and a fork. It was very disappointing especially the first time he's eating there. And then I got a 10 inch gluten free vegan pizza which of course was only good the first two slices when it was hot. Then after that it wasn't edible just like the pepperoni pizza.. Very disappointing he got chicken wings which that was the only thing that everybody ate all of. Needless to say there was pepperoni pizza and vegan pizza and it was four people eating with lots of leftovers. The bad thing is I gave him a couple options to places to eat and he picked NYPD cuz she's never eaten there. Bad bad experience. And nobody there smiles not sure if they are happy at their jobs or not it'd be nice to see somebody smile the atmosphere I guess didn't feel happy or pleasant. Went to NYPD on Sunday afternoon. I don't have the name of our waitress. I'm sorry I don't have it because she paid no attention to my complaints about the cleanliness of the floor around our table, the chairs and the table top. She was completely disinterested in making our discomfort better. If there hadn't been 9 of us, we would have left. If I had paid the ticket, I wouldn't have given her any tip. Sadly, this place used to be really good; but it's gone downhill the past couple of years. The pizza and wings were good - the salad wasn't fresh or plentiful. It's hard to find good pizza that is consistent and NYPD always is good. They have a menu with a variety of options and everything is good. Tonight we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and boneless wings. The large pepperoni pizza is cooked to perfection and not all greasy. You can tell some love was put into this pizza. The wings were lacking a little tonight. They usually come a lot saucier and I asked for saucy, but they came really dry. This is like the only time these have disappointed. I finally found my go-to pizza place in the far west valley!! Our friends picked up some pizza on Pie day so lots of places were pretty busy but you'd never know with the attitude of the staff at NYPD. We also had no idea they closed at 8 and called a little before to order they said no problem and were happy to make it. The customer service was awesome and the pizza was so good!! My husband is a bbq chicken pizza connoisseur & he loved it! It was loaded too, every piece had plenty of chicken & onions. The pepperoni was perfect, not too greasy, not too thin, good amount of sauce, flavor, even the crust, I added some crushed red pepper to mine. The counter lady which I later found out her name was Natalie, bought my food after my card declined. She was so sweet also so well spoken for a young lady and the next day I came in and gave her a nice tip. And the food was really good too. Pizza coming out undercooked, food being served out of order, and tonight was the last straw. Soda was flat. Food took over 40 minutes to arrive; my baked zitii was bordering on cold, meatballs hard & dry (old?), and the plating / presentation looked miserable. (See my photo!) This place used to be a really good value. I've been getting the large antipasto salad for years and it used to be have so much more in it. Now it's just a chopped romaine salad with some tomatoes, olives, some small pieces of salami, chunks of cheese and a few mushrooms, not at all worth the $15.99 they charge. New Yorker /Brooklyn . This is the real deal in Arizona.Excellent my style pizza tried them all. Best round pizzas any variety in Arizona. Crust cheeses on point as are all specialty pizzas. Excellent boneless wing with a perfect sauce. Don't need to look for better or spend for high end pizza. You might find as good but you will never find any better. Honestly a tough review to leave. Used to be one of my family's favorite pizza spots in AZ. Haven't been in years maybe 10 and to come back and try it and be somewhat let down was a bummer. Brooklyn family is what we used to order. They changed the type of sausage put on it. The ingredients and even the crust of it just aren't the same. Very Disappointing Tonight, we decided to have pizza for for dinner and headed to NYPD to pick up a few pies. On this visit we ordered (1) medium pepperoni, (1) medium Margarita, and an order of San Gennaro Zeppolis with Rasberry and Chocolate sauce. When we called in our order we were given a 30 minute pick up time, perfect. Arrived at the store within 25 minutes, grabbed our order, the girl working the counter showed us our pies and I have to be honest I wasn't happy with they way the margarita looked. I was offered a replacement but didn't want to wait another 25 minutes and have the other pie get cold. The manager then gave me a $15 discount, appreciated. When I got home noticied that the rasberry and chocolate sauce were missing. Called the store and was offered a replacement on my next visit, again, appreciated. Now for the pizza. I really do enjoy NYPD but this visit was very disappointing. First, the pizza, one pie was cold and the other barely warm and to be honest we threw most of both pies out, after eating a slice each. Both pizza's lacked flavor which I haven't experienced before at NYPD. We paid $40.50 after the discount just to toss the pizza's. Just a disappointing expeirence. read more
