I received a welcome coupon in the mail when I got my new house, for a free large, one topping pizza. I got that and an order of wings, and I placed it for a pick up order to go. Walked in to pick up the order, and there was literally nobody in there, and the wait was at least 15 minutes past the time that they said the food will be ready. The pizza was fine, but nothing to write home about, and the wings were absolutely terrible. I asked for them well done with lemon pepper flavoring, and there was zero lemon and no pepper. Had a huge craving for chicken fettuccine Alfredo and although this is very easy to make after getting the groceries for one person would probably be $50. So I decided to look for an alternative..not only was the price here decent, the reviews on their fettuccine were fairly high and complementary. I decided to place an order. I added grilled chicken, which was one of the offerings of add-ons. Unfortunately I cannot agree with the reviews before me, this was definitely more like a lean cuisine and although the price was right, it is gonna go mostly uneaten and in the trash. Rosati's is a sports bar in need of at least one additional headcount for waiters. Service was fairly slow and lacking not due to incompetence, but due to not a lot of workers at the time. My crony and I decided to try out the deep dish pizza. Important to note that deep dish pizza takes 30-40 minutes to make so only order if you aren't famished. We got a 14 inch deep dish pizza with two toppings. It cost $33.40 (includes tax and tip). The menu lies about this serving 4-5 people... It has 8 slices and both of us finished a total of 6 slices really it serves 3 people; 4 at most. As for the deep dish novelty, I can say that it is a messy affair with the cheese and toppings all sliding off to the side; you'll need some utensils to avoid getting so much mess on your hands. Was always our to go to pizza place. Not anymore!! Received an online deal of a $5 small pizza. They either changed owners or gave us thee worst pizza I've ever had. Our friends raved about this place. We decided to go rather than driving across town to Lou manatis for a deep dish pizza. Personally, I would not return. The interior wasn't anything special and very 2000s. Service was great, but the food was subpar (I'm very picky about my pizza). It was watery and definitely not what I was hoping for. Visiting the area and needed to go to a Sprouts. Rosati's was across the street so decided to give it a try. Rosati's definitely feels like a neighborhood regulars bar -- most of the action is at the bar and you can tell it's a local hangout. The personal family photos on the walls are actually very charming and give the place a lot of heart. That said, there were a lot of misses during our visit. Right off the bat, my first wine glass had visible lip marks on it. It was replaced when pointed out, but that's not a great first impression. When we took our leftovers, we were also handed an empty pizza box and had to assemble it ourselves, which felt odd. Service was extremely slow. It was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was fairly full, but it appeared there was only one waitress covering everything. She was clearly overworked, and while she was trying her best, the wait times were long -- especially for our food. They are very proud of their thin crust, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The crust tasted more like a saltine cracker than pizza crust, and the sauce had virtually no flavor -- it came across as plain tomato sauce with no seasoning. It was very disappointing overall. The chicken wings were fine, but nothing memorable. One small decor note: the family photos were lovely, but the random Mexican beer decorations felt very out of place and a little confusing. A couple of our friends suggested this place and it didn't disappoint! We started out with dough nuggets.....I wasn't sure at first but they did not disappoint! Super soft, garlicky and delicious. We ordered the 1/2 size and it was enough for us four. We also tried the wings...they were amazing! (And to be honest...I'd go back for just the two apps!) We ordered the wings "naked" sauce on the side. EXTRA crispy and juicy on the inside. Some of the best wings around. The pizza was delicious as well. We had sausage and mushrooms - it came with lots of toppings, great amount of cheese and the crust had a great chew but still crispy. I'd definitely recommend. The one and only downside was my husband ordered his own small pizza, Canadian bacon, pineapple, mushrooms, onion and black olive.....only toppings that came on it were the Canadian bacon & mushrooms. He was very disappointed but we didn't say anything since the place was so packed. The restaurant itself was hopping. Definitely loved the TVs all over - great game watching! Awesome little sports bar. Tons of TVs, every table and every seat has a view. Friendly staff, fast food preparation and a wide variety on the menu. Daily drink specials too. We had wings, a sandwich and an appetizer. The wings were nice and crispy (as requested), and the sandwich had a ton of meat on it. We had fried mushrooms as the app...these were slightly overdone. Last visit deep dish pizza large was burnt to a crisp and swimming dripping of burnt oil. Whomever is making pizza there now is not good at what they do.burnt mush . Now ordered a deep dish cheese sausage and peppers and again it seems like it was covered in a glass of oil where the sauce was drowned out. Another drippy mushy oil pie. It was always perfect here for many years now. 2 times in a crow not good at all why would I continue to drive there and back when the quality is non existent now and the oil is like a lake covering the top of the pizza dripping all over being careful not to drip it on my clothes. It used to be 5 stars every time . Last 2 visit was 0 stars and 1 stars. Need to hire someone who knows what they are doing and cares about what they put in the box. My go to place is not worth the trip anymore. Once who puts 2 burnt meatball parm sandwiches in a bag to give to any. Customer and a burnt black dripping oil in a pizza box. Who had the nerve to pull that. Then the last pizza the sauce was more oil than tomato's covering the top. Sorry , why would I return a 3rd time and 40 minute round trip . Very aggravating. Whatever happened to this establishment to be this badly broken needs to be looked into and fixed and get it back to 5 stars. Here it is in a nutshell: Some of the worst service I've ever experienced coupled with a pizza that tasted like frozen. The sauce had too much oregano or something. The crust was fluffy and too thick, because the ratio of crust to topping was way off. The flavor of the toppings were ok, but the sauce killed it. Our crust was burned to where it was black all along the bottom. It was hard as a rock. Had to chase or server down 3 times. Waited 30 minutes for the check. No drink refills. Just weak on every front. I'm sympathetic toward restaurants because they're struggling in this post-Covid, economically-devastated world we are living in. But this was pretty bad. And not cheap. We ordered 3 12" thin crust simple pizzas and it took 45 minutes to get them and then they did not taste good at all. Not worth the $90 it cost 3 of us to eat at this place. It's family fun day and we went on a hunt for some pizza and wings. We wanted to get a little farther from home for something we don't typically have or something new and came across this location. We've had Rosati's quite a few times at other locations over the last decade, but today's was the best by far. Brenna our server was part of that the moment we walked in. She was all smiles, came right to our table to greet us and answered any and all questions we had in between taking our drink orders. I've been eating on the healthier side lately (sad I know lol) and while I did order a side salad I indulged in a few slices of the classic combo we ordered. My son chose the build your own pasta with penne, meat sauce with Italian sausage and it was phenomenal (I ate some of that too ha ha). Are you even living your best life if you don't try all the yummy things? We also ordered some hot wings and with a yelp check in with dine in purchase we received free dough nuggets as well. Score yet again! Everything came out quickly. Our salad and wings first. Dough bites soon followed. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the edges lightly crisped but not burnt. So many veggies and yummy sausage. The wings were good size, sauced well and good little kick. The dough nuggets were seasoned well and a huge portion. My son loves dipped them on his pasta sauce. He ate every single piece lol. I'd say that means the dough nuggets were a hit. He made a huge dent in the pasta, but had to take some home because the portion was huge. He's a teenage boy you eats so much so that says a lot. The vibe was sports bar type with high tops, booths and of course bar seating. The food was delicious and the staff were delight and kind. Our group tried the fried mushrooms, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks as our appetizer, and there were absolutely no complaints. The sticks were crunchy and had the perfect amount of cheese, the mushrooms were flavorful and not too mushy, and the garlic bread wasn't too greasy. For me personally I had the Alfredo pasta and it was AMAZING. The sauce was flavorful, the chicken was tender and the pasta was cooked perfectly. It was extremely hot in there felt like there was no air conditioning. We know what Rosati's pizza is supposed to be. This is not it. The pizza crust was more than twice as thick as it should have been, and not crunchy like a cracker at all. If only this was the worst of the problem. But no, the cheese was also very bad and off putting. The cheese was thick, chewy, and pliable much like plastic. We still aren't convinced that was actually cheese. We have been here many times before and had better experiences. We had the deep dish for the first time and it was delicious! But I wanted to comment on the customer service. We ordered delivery thru a 3rd party app and there was a miscommunication on whether payment was received, so we ended up paying twice. I called the store and spoke with the manager on duty who remedied the mistake efficiently. It was a simple and honest mistake, accountability was taken professionally and politely, and I appreciated their willingness to fix the situation directly with the store so I didn't need to go thru the 3rd party.
