We had the deep dish for the first time and it was delicious! But I wanted to comment on the customer service. We ordered delivery thru a 3rd party app and there was a miscommunication on whether payment was received, so we ended up paying twice. I called the store and spoke with the manager on duty who remedied the mistake efficiently. It was a simple and honest mistake, accountability was taken professionally and politely, and I appreciated their willingness to fix the situation directly with the store so I didn't need to go thru the 3rd party. Haven't been here in quite some time and now we know why. I ordered boneless wings with honey BBQ sauce and the sauce was terrible, no honey flavor at all and the BBQ tasted very tangy and not good. When asked how everything was I told the waitress that the BBQ sauce was terrible, a manager came to talk with us and she said she loves honey bbq but she did not like this one, my first thought was " Why don't you fix it then" but I held my tongue. She never asked if she could make it right, just shrugged it off and went her merry way. The calzone was ok, had better. Service was good but not enough to make us come back. We tried Rosati's for the first time. Lately we have been mostly been picking up our food but we decided to treat ourselves to delivery. It was so easy! We placed the order through Yelp and was delivered by Grubhub. The young man showed up early while the food was still warm. He left the order at the front door and rang the doorbell. What a great delivery experience! The food selection is very good. We threw in a salad, wings and fried mushrooms. Oh the fried mushrooms! Soooo good! The supreme pizza was good. The vegetables were under the cheese which I think would come through better on top of the cheese. Still a solid pie with satisfying ingredients. Pizza was great and I was just glad they had anchovies as it's a lost topping. They cut the pizza a lil wacky maybe that's the Chicago style lol but I got it for carry out and upon pick up the order was handled with warmth. I had been here for a lunch special previously and that was great as well plus they have 3 amigos margaritas on draft!!! Yes thank you!!! I live a quarter of mile from this place but never go. I'm from Chicago, love Chicago pizza but burnt corn meal is unacceptable. I hadn't eaten there in a long time for this reason and figured I'd try it again to see if they fixed it. Burnt corn meal is gross and changes the flavor. Came here for lunch on thanksgiving for work and the food was so good. The kids enjOyed them selves and the staff was friendly and kind. The pizza was cooked good and I enjoyed the boneless wings. Our experience here was somewhat good but the waits were long even though the place was completely empty except for 2 men at the bar who at this point left and I understand your supposed to enjoy working and being at your job but goofing off in the back and making us wait is honestly unacceptable especially since this place used to be good but it's honestly not the same. My bf picked this place last night for us to try on the fly. Its pretty small inside but it was clean. We had to enter through the patio door which was kind of odd. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive the entire visit. Unfortunately the food did not impress. We used the yelp check in and got free dough nuggets to sample. They were ok (for my ranch lovers, they charge 99 cents for a side of ranch). The salad was fresh and tasted fine but it was equivalent to store bought. The pizza...meh...the sauce was terrible.
