Ordered a medium pepperoni mushroom and tomato pizza. Great crust, slightly crunchy, thin in the middle with a slight crunch. Delicious full flavored sauce, toppings were perfect. Slices are huge in the medium box, you could easily cut slices in half to make the pizza go further. Excellent customer service. read more

For the west valley it's a good pizza. I would like it a little crispier next time so I will ask them to cook it just a bit longer. It had a little too much flop for my liking for a NY style pizza. I got a cheese pizza. We enjoyed it. Prompt and friendly service. It also reheated nicely the next day when we had leftovers. We'll be back. read more

I didn't realize just how much time had passed since our last stop here. We used to frequent the location in Glendale years and years ago, but when we moved unfortunately we don't make it that way often. When we walked in we were greeted right away and decided to order the medium special with 10 wings. We added pepperoni, ham and black olives. We asked for extra crispy crust so it didn't get so soggy after sitting. Everything came out fairly quick and perfectly cooked. It was all really good. Service was friendly . My only drawback was it was so hot inside and hard to get comfortable. Other than that a pretty good visit. read more

Nice little pizza spot. It's not something I would travel out of my way for but if I'm in the area and want some really good pizza at a fantastic price this is definitely where I'll be going. The pizza sauce was not too sweet. The crust was perfect. For the size of the slices they weren't too floppy either. The pepperoni was a little sweet which was a nice surprise. I absolutely love Lucky's pizza they are from New York as I am and they make the best pizza regardless of their size. It's always a pizza you can fold and awesome double bite their wings are also the best I get the honey barbecue wings and I also get a salad that's just lettuce and mozzarella cheese and Italian dressing and then you know it's me plus I always call and order a pizza pie and they know I'm automatically from New York once I say pizza pie so this is definitely my go to place read more

Not bad but not great either. I am originally from NY so I might be a harsher critic about pizza than most. Sauce was very intense and they use alot of it and the dough was a bit thick compared to what I'm used to back in NY. People seemed nice and the pie came out quick with minimal waiting, which was great. I'm not familiar with what's around the area yet but both me and my wife gave it a 6 1/2 out of 10 on our rating scale. read more

We were visiting family in Sun City West and had pizza for dinner one night at the recommendation of my in-laws. My favorite pizza is pepperoni and jalapeño. Lucky's totally delivered! My first time here. I ordered the meat calzone. A very generous fresh tasting crust, and tasty meat and cheese, but not very much of it. 3 stars for the calzone. I ordered 10 wings. They were dry, hard to chew, and had no flavor at all. I struggled with the first 3, then threw out the rest. Not going to waste my time or calories with this. 1 star for the wings. read more

Yesterday I called and ordered one item. A large pizza. When my family member arrived to pick it up they handed him a pizza and a paper bag of wings. The guy at the counter insisted that was indeed my order. Well, it wasn't. Turned out to be a crappy large cheese only pizza and a bag of extremely fiery hot wings totaling $45. We live about 15 miles away so I wasn't about get in my car and go back. Dinner went in the trash. I'm NEVER going back. read more

Today we decided to try another pizzeria. Lucky's is in our neighborhood and had decent reviews. The service was friendly and we received our hot fresh pizza in a timely manner. The last two times I ordered from here through slice my order has been wrong this last time when I called the restaurant and Tony was so rude and told me just don't order from Lucky Pizza again and hung up on me. I have never experienced this kind of customer service from Luckys. This will be the last time I buy pizza from there. read more

I'm giving 4 instead of 5 because I ate here twice and the pizza was inconsistent. The first time I loved how it felt light and doughy without the crust having to be too thick to feel doughy. The last time I went it wasn't the same, thinner and chewier aka harder to bite...but even though the pizzas were inconsistent...the cannolis hit both times. Fire! I dont even like cannolis and now I crave theirs lol. Super casual place but not trashy, have the games on, friendly service, clean. I usually do takeout and it's very quick for pizza! read more

So I called to place an order and asked for the total . The guy said I don't know 20 minutes order 1. Rude!!!! I get there in 12 minutes and my food is already sitting on top of the over done . I asked the lady at the register for an itemized receipt and she swipes my card and says we don't do itemized receipts. I wanted to walk out and get my money back considering I need an itemized receipt for my expense report. Rude!!!! I tried a slice of pizza as soon as I got in the care and it just flopped . Surprised since it just came out of the oven . Pizza was good once I cooked it for 10 minutes when I got home . It was average at best . They must have new owners. read more

The pizza was excellent and took only about 20 fro the time I ordered online. The problem was that I ordered online and my wife wanted some toppings and I wanted others. The Ordering site allowed me to divide the pie in half for choosing toppings. The price for each topping is $2. My thinking was that just ordering topping for half the pie would cut the price per topping to $1. As it turned out, I was charged full price even if the topping was for just one half the pie. The guys at the shop couldn't do anything because I paid online. Not a major deal; but I was overcharged $8. Not happy. read more

First timers here at Lucky's Pizza and it did not disappoint! We ordered fried zucchini, medium wings and a large pizza. The food was amazingly delicious! Wings were spot on and served steaming hot, crispy with a good amount of sauce. The zucchini was crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked..and oh so tasty! The pizza.. well it was on a different level compared to others we have tried. I'm a Chicago pizza fan, Lucky's is not. So I'm not a fan of this place but the ingredients were good, the crust was okay. the sauce needs brightness. The veggie pizza was supposed to come with extra cheese, but there was no sign of it. Good food, but not our style. The service was great. Nice folks. Decent size dining area. read more

I like their pizza have been coming here for more than 8 years. The costumer service is great. I love the white pizza here, the wings are also delicious. My husband might called him an expert in pizza and loves it here. We have taken many family members here and become loyal customers also. They have never made a mistake on my order. Pizza has gone way downhill and I don't see any chance to return to decency. Very bland slices with no spices in sight except for the ones in shakers which you must add to get any flavor. We got: - Large Barros Special with Original Crust - 12 Wings Traditional Medium with Ranch Dressing. Hubs disappointed there were 11 drumettes and 1 flat in his order - 1 Large Veggie Salad with Italian Dressing. Custom made at counter when I went in to pick up order. Very good in all. Some of the Spring Mix was a little old. Added croutons, shredded mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, bell peppers, pepperocinis, chick peas/garbanzo beans. Long benches near counter for to-go orders. Table and booth seating for dine in. Closed caption TVs with football when I stopped in.
