I read several positive reviews on Nextdoor so I went Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1:30 in the afternoon. There wasn't one other person in the restaurant. The owner was behind the counter and I told him I was there because of the positive reviews on Nextdoor he just glared through me. He had a very negative attitude and energy. The Pizza was just OK. I will never go back, Fabio's on fire is MUCH better Fire Oven Pizza and the owner is from Italy and very friendly he imports all of his ingredients from Italy. Well worth the drive for me even though Luckys is much closer to the Grand where I live . I'll never go back to Lucky. He's lucky he has ANY customers with his negative attitude and energy. read more

Ordered a medium pepperoni mushroom and tomato pizza. Great crust, slightly crunchy, thin in the middle with a slight crunch. Delicious full flavored sauce, toppings were perfect. Slices are huge in the medium box, you could easily cut slices in half to make the pizza go further. Excellent customer service. read more

I didn't realize just how much time had passed since our last stop here. We used to frequent the location in Glendale years and years ago, but when we moved unfortunately we don't make it that way often. When we walked in we were greeted right away and decided to order the medium special with 10 wings. We added pepperoni, ham and black olives. We asked for extra crispy crust so it didn't get so soggy after sitting. Everything came out fairly quick and perfectly cooked. It was all really good. Service was friendly . My only drawback was it was so hot inside and hard to get comfortable. Other than that a pretty good visit. read more

For the west valley it's a good pizza. I would like it a little crispier next time so I will ask them to cook it just a bit longer. It had a little too much flop for my liking for a NY style pizza. We were visiting family in Sun City West and had pizza for dinner one night at the recommendation of my in-laws. My favorite pizza is pepperoni and jalapeño. Lucky's totally delivered! The amount of jalapeño on our pizza was perfect. The pizza itself was so tasty and also huge! We had a lot of pizza leftover. My in-laws loved the mushroom and jalapeño pizza. Not bad but not great either. I am originally from NY so I might be a harsher critic about pizza than most. Sauce was very intense and they use alot of it and the dough was a bit thick compared to what I'm used to back in NY. People seemed nice and the pie came out quick with minimal waiting, which was great. The last two times I ordered from here through slice my order has been wrong this last time when I called the restaurant and Tony was so rude and told me just don't order from Lucky Pizza again and hung up on me. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 because I ate here twice and the pizza was inconsistent. The first time I loved how it felt light and doughy without the crust having to be too thick to feel doughy. The last time I went it wasn't the same, thinner and chewier aka harder to bite...but even though the pizzas were inconsistent...the cannolis hit both times. Fire! So I called to place an order and asked for the total . The guy said I don't know 20 minutes order 1. Rude!!!! I get there in 12 minutes and my food is already sitting on top of the over done . I asked the lady at the register for an itemized receipt and she swipes my card and says we don't do itemized receipts. I wanted to walk out and get my money back considering I need an itemized receipt for my expense report. Rude!!!! I tried a slice of pizza as soon as I got in the care and it just flopped . First timers here at Lucky's Pizza and it did not disappoint! We ordered fried zucchini, medium wings and a large pizza. The food was amazingly delicious! Wings were spot on and served steaming hot, crispy with a good amount of sauce. The zucchini was crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked..and oh so tasty! The pizza.. well it was on a different level compared to others we have tried. The pizza was Noticeably made and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sauce, loads of fresh toppings and the crispy (not flimsy!) crust was amazing! The pizza was excellent and took only about 20 fro the time I ordered online. The problem was that I ordered online and my wife wanted some toppings and I wanted others. The Ordering site allowed me to divide the pie in half for choosing toppings. The price for each topping is $2. My thinking was that just ordering topping for half the pie would cut the price per topping to $1. As it turned out, I was charged full price even if the topping was for just one half the pie. The guys at the shop couldn't do anything because I paid online. Not a major deal; but I was overcharged $8. Not happy. read more

Pizza has gone way downhill and I don't see any chance to return to decency. Very bland slices with no spices in sight except for the ones in shakers which you must add to get any flavor. I'm a Chicago pizza fan, Lucky's is not. So I'm not a fan of this place but the ingredients were good, the crust was okay. the sauce needs brightness. The veggie pizza was supposed to come with extra cheese, but there was no sign of it. Good food, but not our style. The service was great. Nice folks. Decent size dining area. read more
