Pizza and wings were excellent and the staff very friendly! 5 out of 5. Where things go wrong is their charges. This was my first time visiting this establishment. We ordered online for takeout. Firstly, I saw a service charge added to the bill, I think it was the $1.99. Why? Just a money grab? Why not simply set your menu prices accordingly instead of sneaking an extra charge on the bottom line? Then I get prompted for a tip. For a takeout order? I'll tip if I want to, don't try to force it please! For those sneaky reasons, I will probably skip Ben's next time. Its unfortunate because I really liked the food but the, in my opinion, money grab is too unethical for me. Be upfront and don't try to nickel and dime your customers and you will get loyalty in return. If I feel valued as a customer and not seen as simply a dollar then you have a customer for life. read more

Pizza was pretty good. The crust seemed a little off - very crunchy on the outer edges and soft in the center of the pizza, and strangely, there was a lot of moisture under the pizza (not grease) that I thought was unusual. I placed my slices on a paper towel to soak it up before eating them. The one thing that I really disliked was how the vegetables were done. I love a good veggie pizza, but it seems like corner cutting when all the veggies are large chunks. I double checked the menu and it does say "diced tomatoes" not tomato wedges or slices. The onions were in strips and the green peppers were in chunks. Also the green peppers were more on the raw side, which is how I expect them in my salad but not on my pizza. Overall the pizza tasted good but wasn't amazing. Their meat lovers pizza is delicious - same issue with the crust but the toppings were excellent. read more

Tucked away in a commercial space. Man, I didn't realize Ben's Pizza was there. I always did the usual: Ray's, Lucky's, or occasionally Mario's. Depending on which direction I'm headed. So we discovered this place and ordered the combo special, which included fried mushrooms, fried jalapenos, fried zucchini, and fried mozzarella sticks (ALL SO GOOD). Fantastic New York-style pizza. Reminded of Sal's Famous Pizza I had in Babylon, New York. I know good pizza, especially the next day when the cheese is still cheese and not a milky goo like other pizza joints tend to turn into when you reheat the pizza the next day. Just saw this place driving by so had to try it out Small place, not a lot of dine in people, most were picking up their orders. Ordered their jumbo one item (pepperoni) pizza and wings(hot) special. Didn't take long probably because we were like the only ones there. The pizza was pretty good! Thin crust, crunchy outer crust, tasty sauce, and flavorful! A little greasy but most good pizzas are. The wings were well done, crispy with good sauce. A little mild but decent. I'll definitely come back even tho it's quite far from my place (20 miles). The restaurant was our first time going. We ordered the Sicilian or some similar name. The teen girl said " good choice". It cost $36. WTHeck! The pizza was done but all bread! The restaurant is not much to look at, with stacks of empty boxes along the side and kind of extremely low key, but they do a very brisk take out business, so it's obviously a popular local place. The food wasn't bad overall, but walking into the place felt odd, unlike a typical Pizzeria experience. It's strange not seeing them cook, especially coming from New York City where that's common. First time here. Good pizza. Generous toppings and cheese flavor is good. Only real negative was that the crust was kinda chewy. I like a chewy crust when it's also crispy. This crust seemed a little under done but all in all good pizza. Also ordered the garlic knots which again flavor good but they were definitely kinda stale. Probably wouldnt recommend these.
