Had a tunami based on Yelp reviews. It was tasty but a few things made it less pleasant. First the brown rice was not thoroughly soft. Many bites had rice bits that were rock solid. The nori wrap was soggy and falling apart and there was actually too much rice. I think softer rice, higher quality nori, and less rice would make it a great dish and move it up to 4 stars. read more

We are big fans of MiSo. The food is fresh and healthy, so many different options and it's fun to try the different sauces. The Tsunami bowl is just about perfection and the kids meal is a good deal. I would like to give this place more stars, because it was really fresh & tasted great, but first of all, they didn't have the noodles I saw online that I wanted. The guy said, not at this location. I got a salad instead. I told him I didn't like spicy dressing, so he told me the milder choices. I ordered 2 of them, as I wasn't sure what I would like. Got home to eat it & they had put both of the dressings right on the salad. It was saturated. I could only eat like half of it. I usually would order them on the side, but thought it was pretty obvious. The mochi was excellent. read more

This place was good a year ago, I went here again today to get a rice bowl. The rice was good and the toppings but oh my god, the Bulgogi was literally just a mass of meat that was ridden with fat. It wasn't edible and wasn't shaved, very disgusting, that one thing ruined it for me, won't be coming back. Edit: Owner contacted me and told me that the meat was the same that it was 2 years ago. First of all, don't tell the customer they're WRONG, secondly, it wasn't the same, it was fatty, stringy, and was all matted together. Unprofessional and rude. read more

This is one of my go-to places in Lacey (as a vegetarian) for fast, big portioned, budget friendly and healthy food. The staff is very fast and friendly and it's very clean inside. The first time I came I was sick and could barely speak but the staff were friendly and patient as I ordered. I got the Evergreen bowl with chipotle mayo, cucumber wasabi and sweet chili sauce, the MiSo soup and the Mochi Ice Cream. The bowl was super fresh and the sauces made my tastebuds sing. I'm super picky about my miso soups as I've lived and traveled a lot to Japan and I have to say, their miso soup is AMAZING. You have to order it and it just might change your life. read more

We were at Cabelas and wanted to find some place close for lunch. Saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It's sort of like Subway or Chipotle but with an Asian flavor. You pick a bowl, salad, seaweed wrap, or tortilla, then your ingredients and sauce. The young lady that helped us was very friendly and helpful for is first time guests. We went for a couple of the "stock" combos for our first time. They were both delicious! I had the "classic " which was a little spicy due to the kimchi, which she mentioned. It was great. I was in a craving for some fresh food and came across Miso. I called in an order for pick up 15 minutes before they closed and accidentally drove in to a different Miso location. When I arrived the gal told me that I had put the order in the other location where they had my food ready. I drove to the location where I had originally placed my order and they waited for me to arrive. My daughter and I went there last wednesday for dinner. I understand that they were busy because 1 person was working the drive thru while the other was working the line inside. My daughter and I was 2nd in line and we waited for a good 25 minutes. I was really excited to try this place because I love ahi bowl. Buuuttttt... it was a disappointment. My daughter ordered the curry bowl, she said the chicken was really dry and over cooked. I got the ahi bowl with crab salad and avocado. The avocado tasted old. So good. New employee didn't quite fold the wrap very well. The manager saw this and made a new one letting us keep the other one at no charge! She was quick, we only had to wait a couple minutes. MiSo was a great place to have lunch. It's the Asian Fusion equivalent of Chipotle. Make a bowl or Nori wrap and choose your toppings. The bowls and portion size are great and they put together their bowl in the design of a flower. Not a jumbled mess. I feel like they have healthier options compared to their counterparts. I typically go for traditional Korean restaurants, so I wasn't sure about how a fusion Chipotle-style restaurant would measure up. I ordered a bowl with white rice, steak, kimchi, greens, radish, carrots, cucumber, corn slaw, seeds, and bibimbap sauce... It was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing about it. The Korean flavors were all there, and the food tasted clean, bright, and of great quality. I was ashamed that I had my doubts. The amount of food I received easily turned into 2 meals for me (with the potential of being 3), so at $10, I got my money's worth. I'm definitely going to be back! read more

I was a little worried being that this place just opened and it didn't have many reviews but I am thrilled that my husband and I were able to stop by for lunch. The menu is simple enough that it's not a struggle to pick out what you want but enough variety to get a delicious bowl or wrap. The workers were patient with us in picking out what we wanted and even did some suggestions for us that gave the meal a really nice taste. We loved that the Miso soup was a big enough size to enjoy with your entire entree and it stayed hot the whole time! Definitely going to be back! read more

I have been to Miso multiple times and always have had delicious, quick, extremely fresh food. I generally order the same thing - the Classic steak bowl. This time I ordered the Tunami Ahi bowl with avocado. Unbelievably delicious!! The tuna was perfect and all the veg was fresh, clean and yummy. Enough food for at least 2 meals. New favorite for a favorite restaurant. I can eat something healthy in less time than traditional fast food that tastes 1000x better. read more

New favorite spot! Its a customizable style restaurant where you start with a bowl, seaweed wrap, tortilla, etc and pick your toppings. Everything is fresh and delicious. I didn't realize there are two different locations. This past Sunday I yelped Miso and it said they were open, so I drove down to the one on Lacey Blvd. They were closed! So I looked on yelp again, and realized there was another location on Marvin Rd. So, I made my way over and it was open! Yayyy. Cute location, everything is clean. There were only two gentlemen working and a few people in front of my son and I. But they worked fast and we were out within 5 minutes! There were two families coming in after us, about 10 people total! Looks like a busy location. The food was fresh and delicious and I am already craving another roll. My 8 year old son said, "It's so satisfying watching them make my food" as they rolled his "sushi burrito". This location is farther away from my house than the other location, and they are both delicious, so I prolly will only come here when I have Sunday cravings and the other location isn't open. read more
