It was there, but not intrusive. It was a great combination of eclectic without that mainstream pablum that you hear in every Starbucks, every elevator, every doctors office, everywhere. They had a wonderful selection of coffee and all of it was very reasonably priced. The staff was lovely; greeted me immediately and went out of their way to be kind. We found a great table and we were able to play and never felt like we were taking up too much space. Other people found their tables and everybody was very friendly. The decor was funky and just what I want from a café. They had food and pastries that I didn't get a chance to try, but my mocha with oat milk was fantastic. We live in Connecticut, but we might travel to go here, just because. Just because.

The setup was easy enough to find, but the overall vibe felt a little limited. I ordered a sourdough bagel with cream cheese and a plain croissant. Both were okay -- fresh, toasted, and crispy (maybe a little too toasted). The croissant was huge, which was a nice surprise, but it wasn't buttered, which I definitely prefer. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. I might give it another try someday, but it's not at the top of my list.
