My experience with Miracle Method of Tacoma was astonishing from the initial contact through the completed shower/tub refinishing process. I made an online request for an estimate in the evening, and by morning, I had a phone call and a return email from Cheyanne for a scheduled home visit. Tamera called the night before to confirm the appointment and inquired about any questions or possible concerns (other than the hard-water stains and scratches that we were unable to remove). She was punctual and presented respectfully to my home. She assessed the potential job and explained the process. She was genuine, making it easy for my wife and I to feel comfortable. She provided a clear and written detailed estimate with no pressure. Two days later we again contacted Tamera to secure their services. Our technician DJ showed up as scheduled and presented himself in a professional and friendly manner. He removed his outside shoes upon entering our home without prompting. He reevaluated the scheduled job and inquired if my wife or I had any questions or concerns regarding the job. He briefly educated us on the products and materials he was going to use and explained, in detail, what he was going to do and the approximate length of time for completion. He worked diligently and answered questions that I periodically posed when checking on the job's progress. Never showed up to property for estimate. I waiting 2 hours when they said they were running late. Never showed up. Called and they never apologized about wasting my time because the scheduler used the wrong address from a previous time I used them. Manager said he would call later in the week so I could decide if I wanted to do business with them still. He never called. I was actually ready to give them a second chance! HOWEVER... the original cracked part of he tub that I originally called this company for, is cracked again, so now I can't use my tub, yet again.... I have sent them an email, so here is to hoping they can honor this 5 year warranty. This is getting ridiculous that I have to continually not be able to use my tub. We had Miracle Method come out to refinish our tub and install grab bars. We were able to get all the quote and preliminaries out of the way online and over the phone, which was very convenient. On the day of the appointment the technician was prompt and very professional. The grab bars were installed first and are very secure and setup very nicely for our application. The refinishing was done in a couple hours and turned out fantastic. What I really liked was all the little extras they did during the process, they added a texture to the bottom for safety and sealed the tub as the previous owner never did and we didn't think to check. We had mis-matched -different colored - countertops between the main kitchen and the island. Pieces were broken off and loose and taped together. I knew that my budget would not tolerate a full kitchen remodel but knew that the countertops needed to look better so I began to check out solutions. I found Miracle Method and did my research. 8 months ago we had a bathroom shower refinished and we're very pleased with the outcome. they had to come back and fix a couple spots that they identified. since then there have been 3 more repairs needed (under warranty) all in the same area. they schedule the repairs 3-4 weeks out so it's now been 8 months, the job isn't finished and we still haven't been made whole. they should be embarrassed and bending over backwards to fix an obvious problem and provide customer service on a long past due job. read more

I had Miracle Method refinish my old ugly tub. At first it looked good but then I started noticing flaws. A manager came out and said that while the process isn't flawless there were enough that he had the guy come back to redo it. While he was here I told him I thought there was a faint showing of a stained bathtub ring I had on the old tub. He just brushed right by it so I thought maybe it was my imagination. The guy came back to redo the tub and at first he was clearly not pleased to be there. He said that it wasn't a flawless process so I pointed out that it was his manager's decision to have him come back because of the number of flaws. He was fine by the time he left. I noticed that most of the flaws were fixed but there were new ones. Not a big deal but one of the flaws was a drip under the soap holder that was either not fixed or was a new one in the exact same place. My next door neighbor came over a couple of days ago and I asked him to look at the tub. At first he didn't see anything. I told him I thought I saw, very faintly, a stained bathtub ring but did not show him or tell him where. He took another look and put his finger right where the ring was. I decided not to follow up on the drip or the bathtub ring because the tub had already been done twice and because of covid and the smell I decided it wasn't worth it. The manager said that they do not sand or strip the old tub before applying their product. The whole reason I had the tub re-done was because it was scratched and badly stained. It makes no sense to me that in that case they wouldn't sand or strip the tub before beginning their process. However, having said that, I gave three stars because my tub looks soooooo much better than it did and the tech, the manager and especially Nancy in the office were very nice. read more

We have had Miracle Method guys out twice now. First was for a 40 year old almond-colored tub and shower enclosure that I wanted white. The result was fantastic! The procedure is a bit smelly, and to be honest the employee did not tell me ahead of time that he was venting out the bedroom window over our dog kennel directly below. Not a good scenario. And the guy had to come back a touch up because he was in a hurry and pulled off tape that stuck to the surface, pulling off the new white finish before it was set. But in the end I was very happy with the product. A few months later we had a new shower pan that our contractor put in, and it was white. We had ordered almond, so that needed to be re-done. Perfect! Looked great. And we will be using Miracle method in our new house within the next year to change out a tub color. Obviously we like this company! read more

No one else would contact us back and Tamara went so far as to send several color samples. I explained that a white sink would make my old corian countertop look yellow....Tamara send several samples that did not do this which was amazing! He taped up everything...painted and clear coated the counter tops and when he was done, he removed all the tape and paper, showed me the final job, asked if I was happy with the work. Miracle Method told me when they would be here to start the job...they showed up on time both days.....did a great job..and left my house cleaned up perfectly. I love my new bathroom, it is so beautiful. I also am very pleased with Armando, the young man who did the work. He was always kind, and considerate while working inside our home. There were a few unique issues that arose (because of open plumbing in the bathtub) that Ryan is working to correct. Also, after the work was done and when we were putting our new bathroom vanity together and moving it next to the wall the new floor got scratched, which frankly surprised me. We thought the refinished surface was meant to be durable. We waited two days before we built the new vanity on top of a drop cloth on the floor and then moved the heavy vanity to the wall, while still on the drop cloth. I prefer to think the best and give the benefit of doubt so I assumed the floor needed 72 hours to cure rather than 48, thus the problem was a result of the surface being so new it was more susceptible to scratching. However, after I discovered the scratches I became concerned that the toenails of my large dog may end up scratching the surface in the future--I will be certain to keep an eye on it this coming year (there is a warranty to cover such issues). I really hope it is as durable as we were told because it so beautiful and must less stressful then tearing out all the old tile and putting in new tile. As far as the current scratches Ryan assured us that when we were ready he would send Armando back out to repair the scratches. On a different note, when spraying on the new surface Armando had a large exhaust system on the bathroom window to minimize the fumes of the product from getting into the whole house. It certainly was helpful. However, for those sensitive to off-gassing of paint etc. this method may be too intense. Our adult pregnant daughter who rents the basement from us almost opted to spend a day away from the fumes. People with sensitivities may wish to take a short vacation away from their home. Overall, I am very satisfied with the process, the people, and the end product it is incredibly beautiful!! read more
