This is not a review of Graham's actual work but rather a review of how his lack of professionalism lost him a job. The contractor we hired (Geoff Copeland) for a basic bath remodel assured us his "bathtub buddy" would be able to take care of us. We should have known the hive we were heading into simply based on the outcome of our remodel. (On a separate note, I would never hire Geoff Copeland again as he "over promised" on basic skills he was "unable to deliver", leaving our bath mediocre at best). Our contractor told us Graham would be a few weeks out when it was time to schedule the bath glaze. Turns out a few weeks means nothing short of five. Graham was completely unflexible or willing to understand the situation and false information our contractor gave us. Ok. If that was the case, then so be it. When we asked dates available we could book, Graham responded with two dates. Not four hours later when we responded, we were told that the slot had been booked. Seriously? He couldn't give us four hours to read our email and respond before filling it up? So we scheduled for another time-- yes, even after that. Turns out I had a conflict the day I scheduled and asked if we could push the job back 3 hours as I could not be back home. His response was simply no. Nothing else. At that point I took matters into my own hands and called The Bathtub Guy, who ultimately got back to me that day and scheduled my job within the week! Graham clearly had no interest in accomodating or even being nice enough to pretend. Like I said, I should've known just by the connection of the referral but when you aren't the expert, you fall short knowing what's acceptable and what is not because you feel desperate just to get the job done. We found Graham to be unprofessional and amateur-ish. In a service industry where I look for trust and help, it's good to remember to be kind and professional. read more
