    Incomplete coverage by the wash

I gotta say I was pretty surprised at having a less than thorough wash coming through here for the first time; I used the soft touch side. The cat vibrated quite a bit from the rollers batting against it, and I expected this meant it was doing a very thorough job. After going through the dryer stage I rolled out to my next destination. After parking, I looked at the back of the car and the wash had missed a large portion of the back of the car... see photo. Just very very surprised at this, I have never seen a car was miss any spots before. Totally happy to amend this review if the wash follows up with me. I would have brought it back for a proper cleaning if I had the time for it.

Payed $20 for the top level "Soft Wash", extremely disappointed!!!! Missed a 2 foot section on the back of the car completely. The hood, top and bottom of the windshield all still have road grime. The front looks mostly untouched. Don't waste your money, midsize sedan looks worse now than when we got there!

Damage from Mint Premium Carwash in Keene. It's much more noticeable in person.

I stopped by Mint today around 4:30 for a car wash on my Audi A4. I really only needed a basic wash as I have an unlimited wash pass with a car wash down in Florida and my car was covered in bugs and bird poop from my drive up from Florida. I got the basic touchfree wash and went on my way. However the gentleman at this location used a coarse brush on my car's paint while I was paying for the wash in line and ended up leaving large scratches and swirls across my trunk. You cannot use that type of brush on Audi paint, it will scratch! Then we moved on to the wash, again it was the basic $10 wash so I wasnt expecting a perfect wash, but when I got back home around the corner my car was still dirty! What's the point of paying for a car wash if your car is still dirty? What a scam!

Below is the post I wrote on FB to warn friends & family…read more tldr: $160 interior car wash was originally going to cost me $400 - $500 in repairs due to damage caused by the detailing company, ended up being declared a total loss after $3600 of repairs could not fix water damage. Stay away from Buffmaster Auto Detailing. I got lulled into a false sense of security based on all the positive reviews. I am convinced that they are either shill/friend reviews or people who ONLY got exterior details from him. Last Saturday I dropped my car off for an interior detail for $160. Sunday I picked it up and he let me know "I wasn't able to get the heat going in this thing so it's going to be a little bit before it dries". I thought "hmmm...the heat was working fine when I dropped it off". Picked it up and the A/C was stuck on high and only one of the climate control consoles was working. He tried to tell me that it would dry out, no problem. I won't make this story too long but the upshot is that it didn't resolve and I asked him for a refund. After first trying to blame me for having a dirty car (???) yep that's why I was paying for the detail) he said he would give me a refund if I would release him from any further liability. I *should* have realized at this point that he knew he did significant damage. I told him I would wait a few more days and when it didn't resolve I knew that a climate control panel costs $180 and that Nate could probably switch it out so, like an idiot, I agreed. Now my mechanic says that the body control module is completely shot and it's going to cost hundred to fix (at least $400 - $500). Oh and the speedometer isn't working either. So no climate control, no speedometer....My mechanic said it looks like somebody literally took a hose to the control panel. So I have no legal recourse because this guy ripped me off, he obviously knew he caused major damage and wanted to refund me the minimum and get out of liability as fast as he could. But the least I can do is let my friends, family and the general public stay away from these "pros". I also posted pictures in my FB post of the water damage, as well as screenshots of him repeatedly trying to get out of liability.

These defects will cause corrosion in the near future. And frankly do not look like a presentable factory like appearance. He wanted to see what he could do to"help" the situation however he didn't offer anything that was going to fix the problem. I admit I lost my cool with the guy but he just shut down and said he would not get into a "pissing contest" with me. I dropped off the keys, one of the workers dropped off my truck without saying a word and nobody checked in my rental. I took pictures of the rental as I dropped it off to cover myself. Totally unprofessional. I brought my truck immediately to another reputable body shop and asked them to look over the repairs. They were quick to point out several problems with the repair including a few I was unaware of. The only remedy to fix the truck is to repaint the whole area. Where Ryan denied his shop touched the inside of my fender the other body shop told me he could see where they used a dolly and hammer inside the fender to bang out the dent, they also did not get enough black paint (inside the fender lip) and he pointed out the primer showing thru. He also pointed out where they did not paint the entire surface and that it is now subject to corrosion. He showed me sand marks up near the top of the cap that stand out especially in the sun. When he fully went over the area he was not sure what he would be getting into because he found unstable area's in the clear coat that would need to be addressed. I made the mistake of paying for my truck deductible before inspecting the truck and now have to go thru stop payment proceedings. The shop had my truck from 9/3/19 until 9/18/19 More than enough time for a quality repair. I seriously question the integrity of this shop when the Production Manager lies about the work performed and caution anyone considering them for their repair needs. I now have to bring it to another shop to have the work done correctly, go through the rental process and be without my truck again. Quite a nightmare. Stay away from Key Collision of Keene.

I had a dash light go on that I thought indicated a transmission problem, so I called. Even though my transmission was not affected in the accident, they made me appointment at my earliest convenience. Turns out, it was a simple light bulb indicator. I would have completely understood if they were upset with me for having them take a mechanic off of another job to look at mine, all because I misread my manual. Instead, they were kind and generously replaced the bulb, even though it wasn't even on the side of the accident! From the receptionist to the manager to the mechanic, they were generous with their time, patience and expertise. As a person who knows nothing about cars, it's scary to put such an investment into the hands of strangers when my car was damaged. They made the experience more palatable with sending me the itemized estimate and communicating with me in a timely manner about my concerns and questions. They were also great about keeping me up to date on when my car was ready. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, I know I won't think twice about going to them!

I suspected that the wiper fluid reservoir had been cracked or punctured because when I went to fill the tank with gas, there was a large pool of blue fluid growing by my front left tire. I thought I had been clear that I was checking for damage specifically related to my accident. An appraiser from GEICO was going to meet them to look at my car. They sent me a list of things, including my front brakes that needed to be fixed, and I assumed that that had to do with damage from my accident since I had just had my rear brakes replaced and my front brakes brushed And cleaned. They apparently were going to do that again maybe everything got dirty from being in the ditch, but they're telling me that this had nothing to do with the damage from the accident. So I wound up with a huge bill and my insurance isn't gonna cover any of it. I'm disappointed. I found the service to be unclear and I'm not sure why my front brakes need to be cleaned again after I just did that about two weeks ago. They also did not replace my reservoir tank and they are assuring me. It is not cracked. I'm not a mechanic, but I am concerned because I watched a puddle grow, and it was bright blue which to me says wiper fluid. I may not return to them again for service. They've always been polite. No disrespect to the workers at Subaru, but I felt I was pretty clear about my reason and my intention for visiting Subaru and a text with a bunch of videos that I don't have time to watch with a long list of repairs did not give me the answers I needed. I'm marking them down not because their work is bad but because when I had an accident and I went to them, they were very unclear with me. And I feel like it got spun back on me because they had sent me video footage, which while teaching I didn't really have time to review.

My heel must have slid on that , and im not exaggerating probably only once i take care if my car. I can prove i maintained this car impeccably. Scratches lol so what? Your feet are down there and you don't expect incidental contact? He was like someone else must have done it lol. Noone but me drives this car other than service techs at the Mitsubishi dealership only. As if a scratch should void warranty? That is a big problem in the new england area with dealerships, they will find any petty excuse to avoid taking care of the car under warranty. I am not joking about writing to Mitsubishi to get it covered i have not used anyone but the dealership to maintain the car and i am careful. Mitsubishi needs to stand behind that. Its not like i trying to scam here or asking for tires or seats or wear and tear items, that runner should never have come loose. I dont think im going to hire a lawyer lol but im writing to Mitsubishi to fix that. You dont build relationships ducking out of warrantying when that is such a huge factor in building loyalty. 1) warranty length and service 2) price 3) reliability reputation of the brand The top factors in my choices. I am an active purchaser of cars too lol i have good credit. So i will go back across the country to buy my new car when i do so. Why? Because they are honest and take care of things and dont try to lawyer out warranty work. I was really worried about that too because i have uberred over 8,000 people in Massachusetts amd.know tons of stories with folks and issues like this. Mitsubishi is a lower price for what you get nit the vehicle did cost $42,000 so when you spend that kind of money i expect Mitsubishi will do the right thing and fix that for me under warranty after i write them and i can prove i only used Mitsubishi to maintain the car and never exceeded 4,000 miles without an oil change. Not only that, but someone without a mask basically sat in front of me in the lounge. The car was washed and no watermarks their washing the car was insane because my windows are covered in hard water- if the car is clean leave it and if you are going to rinse it with water that leaves behind visible markings. Im not a guy that craps on businesses but this was ridiculous. I went back after going into the lobby to take pictures and i dont see these scratches. Not that it should matter. I told him i don't stand on that and that the last dealer was going to do it next week but i had to travel. I had a sound that was weird a bit loud two months ago and i brought it to the dealer in California. They said it was the two bearings in the axle and they fixed it no problem. Today driving home i was so grateful i wasnt in Massachusetts because these dealers would have tried to screw me on that. Its not that the bearing issue made the car or the dealer bad , they won my business because they stood behind the car and did the right thing and fixed it. Its about being honest and professional, common sense should tell you that side runner should not have come loose and the car is under 60,000 miles. Instead he plays the dirtbag game so many dealers around here play. One other dealer around the area told me i needed brakes and i found out i still had 8mm on them. You cant trust half these dealerships Bottom line is the service department can either hurt a dealer or help them. After this experience why would i buy a car here? Not only that, they make Mitsubishi look bad. Mitsubishi trusts these folks because these experiences lose or gain customers
