This dealership contacted my 83 year old mother to sell her a new car she could not afford! That is elderly abuse!

The service department is awful. We could not get a call or email back but they had the car for over a month. In the end they denied the warranty, and then over charged us for a diagnostic that we already knew what was wrong. (and gave them the full report) Too bad the person with the brain cells didn't think to deny the warranty we paid for BEFORE they did a second diagnostic and found out the same thing. (and for $100 more) This dealership is rude, and will take your money through dishonest ways. BEWARE! We asked that a recall in which we got a notice for while they had it be taken care of, and they acted like we were crazy and they knew of no such recall. We had to go to Kia Corporate to demand it be fixed. read more

I have a 2022 Telluride SX. for some recalls .While I Was there I asked if the alarm could be shut off because my little dog sets off the alarm seating in the front seat.I asked on two visits.The service dept. They said there was not.Even asked a mechanic they said. I had to check myself and you can. You would think they would of known being a Kia dealer. read more

This place is horrendous. I had the worst car buying experience of my life here. The sales woman Jeanie admitted they were pressuring me, tried to have me drive a more expensive model "as a mix up" and told me it was the cheaper option which was a verifiable lie. Gave me sketchy Financials that didn't add up and as soon as the paperwork was done, all customer service went out the window. I started questioning some of the numbers and she called the finance guy over Kevin I believe, who led really aggressively and after stating my concerns, he told me I was wasting their time. This place is an absolute joke. Also the wanted to offer me $1000 less for my trade in and wanted to truck for free. If you have any respect for yourself, never come here. read more

I just moved back to Massachusetts from California my Mitsubishi had a small issue with the side runner and the California dealer was going to warranty it but needed to do it later in the week which didn't work because i was going to be on the road. My heel must have slid on that , and im not exaggerating probably only once i take care if my car. I can prove i maintained this car impeccably. Scratches lol so what? Your feet are down there and you don't expect incidental contact? He was like someone else must have done it lol. Noone but me drives this car other than service techs at the Mitsubishi dealership only. As if a scratch should void warranty? That is a big problem in the new england area with dealerships, they will find any petty excuse to avoid taking care of the car under warranty. I am not joking about writing to Mitsubishi to get it covered i have not used anyone but the dealership to maintain the car and i am careful. Mitsubishi needs to stand behind that. Its not like i trying to scam here or asking for tires or seats or wear and tear items, that runner should never have come loose. I dont think im going to hire a lawyer lol but im writing to Mitsubishi to fix that. You dont build relationships ducking out of warrantying when that is such a huge factor in building loyalty. 1) warranty length and service 2) price 3) reliability reputation of the brand The top factors in my choices. I am an active purchaser of cars too lol i have good credit. So i will go back across the country to buy my new car when i do so. Why? Because they are honest and take care of things and dont try to lawyer out warranty work. I was really worried about that too because i have uberred over 8,000 people in Massachusetts amd.know tons of stories with folks and issues like this. Mitsubishi is a lower price for what you get nit the vehicle did cost $42,000 so when you spend that kind of money i expect Mitsubishi will do the right thing and fix that for me under warranty after i write them and i can prove i only used Mitsubishi to maintain the car and never exceeded 4,000 miles without an oil change. Not only that, but someone without a mask basically sat in front of me in the lounge. The car was washed and no watermarks their washing the car was insane because my windows are covered in hard water- if the car is clean leave it and if you are going to rinse it with water that leaves behind visible markings. Im not a guy that craps on businesses but this was ridiculous. I went back after going into the lobby to take pictures and i dont see these scratches. Not that it should matter. I told him i don't stand on that and that the last dealer was going to do it next week but i had to travel. I had a sound that was weird a bit loud two months ago and i brought it to the dealer in California. They said it was the two bearings in the axle and they fixed it no problem. Today driving home i was so grateful i wasnt in Massachusetts because these dealers would have tried to screw me on that. Its not that the bearing issue made the car or the dealer bad , they won my business because they stood behind the car and did the right thing and fixed it. Its about being honest and professional, common sense should tell you that side runner should not have come loose and the car is under 60,000 miles. Instead he plays the dirtbag game so many dealers around here play. One other dealer around the area told me i needed brakes and i found out i still had 8mm on them. You cant trust half these dealerships Bottom line is the service department can either hurt a dealer or help them. After this experience why would i buy a car here? The level of incompetence of Fairfield Kia's service department is mind-boggling. I phoned them on 7/12/21 to make an appointment to address an issue related to Kia Safety Recall 20V519, involving the Hydraulic Electronic Control unit (HECU); wherein, they were to replace the unit if necessary, and even if not necessary, install a "..new multi-fuse...". A fella named Bob, happily offered an appointment for the next day at 2:00 p.m. to address the matter. The next day, I drove the 18.2 miles to their repair facility for the appointment; whereupon, a morbidly obese, un-smiling, seemingly annoyed service-desk jockey informed me that they didn't have the part to do the recall service, and that I'd have to come back on another day to have it done. When I asked why they didn't ensure that they had the part to perform the recall service before they gave me an appointment, wasting my valuable time driving to their facility to have it done, the obese service-desk jockey, and his fellow desk-jockey, mumbled something unintelligible, and couldn't even be bothered to offer an apology for wasting my time. read more

This repair shop is the shadiest dealer run repair shop I have ever seen. Bought a new car here and every time I bring it in for routine service or inspection they find something that they say needs to be replaced. They told me my brakes needed replacing. I was skeptical as we hadn't driven it that much but went ahead. Then they tried to sell me on new brakes again the next year. I drive about 20 miles a week with this car. When I told them to tell me the milage from the last repair to now they got very nervous and started saying maybe they didn't need it. I have caught them in more than one lie and they quickly try to play it off as a mistake. I could go on but suffice it to say we are about to buy another car and won't make it a Kia solely because of this shop. Save your self and go elsewhere. read more

The service at this location's service department is despicable to say the least. Brand new 2022 Kia Nightfall had NO issues until we brought it in for a routine oil change and there have been never ending issues since. The icing on top of the cake you ask? We''ve had this car for three years and never had a warning light come on. Went in to have a couple recalls done free of charge. When the job was complete, I got back in my vehicle to start it and noticed a warning light that said, "check Blindspot collision Warning System ". I brought this to the attention of the service desk, and the man told me it was on before they began to work on the car. I told him it wasn't, and I asked if he would take a look at it, assuming that it was something that the technicians triggered. he said "no", I would need to set up an appointment to have that looked at. I asked to speak with the manager who did come out and have a look at it, and even took it for a test drive. But he only came back to note that yes in fact, this was on when they started working on the vehicle and they would need to run diagnostic tests that would take two hours, and that I would need another appointment for this. Naturally I can't prove anything, but you be the judge, outrageous coincidence or some measure of deceit, and/or irresponsibility on their part. We traveled all the way from Mass to see a 2019 vehicle advertised as new we saw on the internet. The vehicle had over 3,000 miles but was priced the same price as a new 2020 vehicle. They put a lot of pressure on us to buy the vehicle prior to leaving the dealership. They also low balled us on our trade. They ended up offering us an equivalent 2020 vehicle. It was not until after we picked up the 2020 , we realized the vehicle did not have the remote start that was on the 2019 vehicle. Even when I was on the way to pick up the vehicle I received an email and text from another salesperson at the dealership. read more

I had to cancel a service contract because I traded in the car I'd bought there for another one. I walked in with the paper work and turned it in. We are told it's going to be a few weeks. I wait five. I call 4 times over 2 weeks. No real answer at all. I finally get a phone call and I'm told my paperwork was never processed because of a specification that was not made. Now I'm told I have to wait up to two more weeks. Worst finance service ever. Will not go back and will most certainly not be recommending this place. read more

I traded In my vehicle for a new Used car. The process went smoothly but was badly flawed. As soon as I departed, I noticed the gas tank was empty. The odometer was also 500 miles higher than I had been told. When I emailed the dealer, they ignored me completely. When I pressed them for a response, they refused to compensate me for the gas. They also excused the mileage as being racked up on test drives and blamed the seller for faulty information. Who would have thought a car dealer would be unscrupulous and untrustworthy? read more

This is the antifreeze overflow tank that has oil still in it and oil all over engine compartment. This is the work done a a 2021 sportage that broke down on me, this car is less then a year old with only 13000 miles on it. Was told by service manager Chris "not my problem" and sales manager Steve told me "just because you bought it here that doesn't mean we have to help you" and then he told me "maybe you should have bought your car at another dealership". We have been dealing with several different auto dealers, looking for a new car. We decided on Fairfields partly because we have bought here before. Also because of the great service we received from Jared and Heather in sales here. We drove 2 hours plus to get here, and are having lunch while we wait for our car to arrive from another dealership. I will update this review when the purchase is complete. Update: We purchased a Mitsubishi Outback. We were given a good price on the vehicle, and I was a bit surprised at the low price (we paid cash). We discovered why the price was so low. We had requested a FULLY LOADED car. We received much less. No navigation system. No impact warning system. No heated mirrors. We got very few of the options we wanted. Unfortunately, we waited around for hours before getting the car. By the time we did, it was late, and dark and raining. We just wanted to get home (2 hours away). We were bummed about the deal, but hey......it's a car dealership. I guess it could have been worse. read more

I will just preface this review by saying that I didn't end up buying a car from Fairfield KIA in Keene so can't comment on what that process is like. This review is purely for the customer service I received during my car shopping adventure. I just moved to this area from the west coast and had been on the search for a good "all-weather" vehicle for awhile. I stopped at KIA to check out a used Subaru, and got to work with Melissa Z in Sales. My customer service experience with her was simply great. She took the time to listen to my needs. She was friendly and professional, and I never felt forced into anything (as can sometimes be the case with the dealership experience, at least for me). Like I said, in the end I decided the car wasn't the right one for me. But I would absolutely recommend the service and customer care here. read more

They promised me about 3 different cars that they couldn't get, when they finally got me a car and not the color I wanted but it's fine. Their service center was even worse!!! the door handle kept breaking, the last time it broke they didn't order the part until it was past warrenty and blamed it on a staff change, and they held a sensor for the back up camera never calling me to tell me it was in until that was past warrenty (handle and sensor were addressed at the same time) so when i Called looking for the parts they said well now your cars over the miles you'll have to pay to put them in!!! In October I leased a beautiful Kia Sportage. I absolutely love it. David was a great saleman. He and the finance gentleman were very courteous and answered my questions. However, after a couple of days I went back and it was like now that the papers were signed and I had the car, they couldn't be bothered. I understand it was a sale weekend but at least act like I'm a valued customer. Now I have emailed three times to ask about a remote starter. Super nice people, however we traveled down from BurlIngton Vermont to purchase a Telluride. The car was listed on the website at its MSRP, and as long as they were willing to meet trade value on our trade in, we were ready to write a check and drive away with the car. When we arrived we were told that they were offering the LX at $10,000 above MSRP and the EX at $5,000 above MSRP. Classic case of bait and switch. We unquestionably should have been told this before we drove 2 hours south. I must warn you to avoid this repair shop at all Costs!!!! This place didn't repair my car to any kind of acceptable running condition after $2300 worth of parts and labor! They called me and told me my car was all set and I could pick it up anytime. I went down Oct 29th w/my daughter, finished the final payment and left. We were on our way home and my daughter says there's something very wrong with this car. We switched and I got in the Kia and told her to drive mine home, because the baby was screaming. On a back road w/no cell service, I didn't believe I was going to make it home. Car felt like it wanted to stall just idling and then when you accelerated it would spit and sputter. I was so upset. When I got home of course the place had closed over an hour ago. I called the next day and spoke with service Tech and he said well, you can bring it back, I said did you not hear me say I didn't think it would make it home??? I'm not driving it again. He said well you'll have to have it towed here then. I told him I was planning on it, he said I don't think anyone will be here because we are close to closing and closed Sunday. I said I'd have it towed Monday. He said okay, we'll let you know when it arrives. I never heard back from Kia, but the Tow truck let me know it was there. I got a call from my son to call Kia and the Keene police! When I called they said I abandoned the car there and they were going to charge me with storage fees! I asked if they fixed it, he said we don't know why it's here. Are you kidding me??? You knew it was coming there.... He told me nobody knew about it.. LIARS I was told to have it towed there. Wait until something goes wrong with your car. No one will be there to help you. The managers are not helpful at all. Constantly given the run around. Absolutely MIND BLOWN. My car went into the shop on 1/4/2021.... Apparently you can't speak with the mechanics working on your car..... My brand new (8 miles on the car when I bought it) 2021 Telluride has been in the shop longer than I have had it. They said the part is on backorder, but it has been on backorder for a month now. Beyond frustrated because no one has any answers. I took it in for a service check after having it for 3 weeks and "nothing was wrong"... a week later my car wouldn't drive over 30 mph.... how does service not catch something that big is beyond me.. Or how do you sell a car without catching this big of an issue.... They also didn't have a comparable rental car.. It has been over a month with still NO UPDATE or timeline of when I will get my car back. This issue, to me, should be handled by upper management at this point and I haven't received a call from anyone. - Update on 3/5/2021 we got our car back. 2 months to the day since it got towed to the shop. Funny thing is our first payment was due on 3/9/2021......... conveniently and our car is now magically done. Also another funny thing is I received a call from Tony the service MANAGER for the first time during that ENTIRE time my car was in the shop YESTERDAY on 3/10. My car was in the shop for 2 MONTHS and the service MANAGER didnt call me until AFTER we got the car back...... to check to see how the car was running.. am I actually surprised? No, not at all. Honestly if an issue ever comes about again with our car again I would not trust taking it back to Kia Fairfield. Hopefully other Kia dealerships have better management and customer service. I preface with read the first review. It was written by Fixed Operations Manager Robert Goodell from Fairfield's Kia. In this day and age of social sites, do you think no one would notice. This is my first review and wanted to share my experience at this dealership The car is a gift to my son in law. I did not purchase my car there but had a "dealer" only problem.I My check engine light came on and my local auto/tech couldn't fix it. It's an older high mileage Spectrum. I wanted a quote to fix the CEL. The tech isolated the problem and the service advisor gave me a fair price. Of course, they found "other" problems. Safety issues is what the service advisor explained. Front brakes worn below state spec, emergency brake didn't hold and exhaust equipment failure. The quote would add another $2000.00 to my already $700.00 bill. I had no choice but to pass on the additional work. When I told that to service advisor his tone quickly changed. I was being pressured into repairing this immediately. I felt guilty saying no but had no choice. Money being tight and all. What bothered me more is why my local tech didn't bring these problems to my attention. Part of his oil change service is a 24 pt. free safety inspection. I just had the oil change days earlier. I made the appointment to have my CEL repaired. The advisor said it was a 1 day turnaround repair. It was getting late in the afternoon. I hadn't heard from the dealership so I called. The advisor explained that he was waiting on the part. It was coming in on his 2nd delivery run. No problem these things happen I responded. It was now just after 3pm. I asked would the job still get completed today. He promptly told me no. If the part came "IN" on the morning delivery it wouldn't have been an issue. I asked him " when were you going to call me?" He said "around 4pm" and something like it's been a mad house here. Sorry to hear about that but that is not my problem. Realizing I was talking to an idiot and the car would not be fixed today I asked "maybe tomorrow"? He laughed and said "absolutely, just come down after 1pm.' Perfect, I work until 4pm so my wife could drop me off at the dealership and go about her day. Do you see where this going..... I get dropped off at the dealership around 4pm. Got to the counter asked to pick up my son in law's car. It was still in the shop the advisor told me. SHAME ON ME. Now, being so late in day I was being told that his techs go home at 5pm. There was no way to get my car back today. Imagine steam coming from my ears . I asked why you didn't call and make me aware of this earlier. My time and my wife's time had just been wasted. He again told me its a mad house here. This Kia dealership has a history of turning help over. I can see why. Invest in your employees otherwise these mistakes will happen over and over again. Day 3 I do get a phone call around noon time telling me the car is all set. Finally... Back to counter and the advisor told me he was going to help with the bill for the Inconvenience. That's a class act. We reviewed my bill together. We got the the total due and it was the exact same as the price quoted!!!!! I felt awkward asking about the discount but maybe he forget to readjust the bill. Now heres the kicker. He told me that I wouldn't have to pay the 30 bucks on overnighting the part . This idiot thought he was doing me a favor?? I paid them and drove away putting that place in my rear view mirror. A follow up to THOSE ADDITIONAL SAFETY REPAIRS. I brought the car to my local tech to get a quote. Well surprise surprise. The front brakes were not below state spec. He brought me into the shop to show and explain. Brake pads 7mm and rotors within spec. The exhaust equipment was a simple hanger that was broken. He used mechanics wire to secure the hanger. Fairfield's wanted to replace the exhaust system from the cat to muffler. Onto the Emergency brake. He told me to have seat that he would adjust the e-brake cable. It took him 5-10 minutes and he was done. Fairfield's wanted to replace both e brake cables stating they were frozen and couldn't be adjusted. I thanked my local tech. When I asked how much do I owe you. He shook my hand and said sorry I couldn't help you with the check engine light. WOW. That was my story. Now Fairfield's has 2 reviews. Mine and the guy who works there. I will never go there again. The best social site is word of mouth.Fairfield's owns a GMC dealership also. Don't fall for the advertising promo they put out. I scratched and it said I won the 60" TV. I called. They asked for my winning number. They said yup. I had to make and appointment to come in and see the manager. I drove 40 miles and got " Oh, that just puts you in the group to win the TV. But you can spin the wheel and get a prize." It was a pair of tickets to a local baseball game. I am pissed because I asked if the numbers I gave her meant I won the TV or was there a catch. Of, course I was reassured that all I had to do was come see the manager to get the TV. I will never step foot in that place again. read more
