Let's start by saying our sales rep Courtney was an absolute rock star taking time to answer any and every question we had even before we drove up to physically see the vehicle. Once we went and looked at the vehicle she continued to show what separates her from most cars sakes people. Then it came time to sign and purchase. We paid cash so no loan l. We still had to finalize the purchase through their finance department... this is the reason for the three star review. Trying to push us to purchase extended warranty that er had zero interest in due to us modifying the jeep almost instantly and being more than comfortable working on vehicles. The word no was not what he wanted to hear m. To the point that after the 8th time saying no, we contemplated walking away. His mannerisms also had my wife feeling rather uncomfortable (if you know her you'd understand how rare that is) The only reason we continued with the sale was the work that Courtney put in. When we need a vehicle again we will reach out to her but certainly would not sit with the same person to finalize it and would certainly have a lot shorter leash when it comes to walking away. Two years ago I posted a review. Stellar service and here I am again. Had an issue with my Sierra Denali. Coolant leak. Was diagnosed pretty quickly but unfortunately the part had to be order and it was 7 business days. We then found out it back ordered. We needed the truck by end of week to pull our 5th Wheel. On Monday they placed an urgent order somehow and part came in Wed and we had it by Friday! All went through our extended warranty. Dealt with Allison customer service. The service department worked on my vehicle without doing diagnostics on it. I had a smaller shop diagnose a coolant leak. The Fairfield buick dealership ended up replacing the water outlet, an aviation gasket and a coolant hose clamp. By the time i picked up my vehicle and drove it to hannafords all the coolant had leaked out. I brought it back to them they said my water pump was leaking. At this point they pressure tested the system (why this wasnt initially done, or why they didn't start the entire process with doing a proper diagnostic as a CYA i have no idea. Lack of professionalism i suppose). Based on the pressure test they determined the condition of the belt should be changed along with a new water pump. (This is a 2020 buick encore so its not an older model.) I drove 2 weeks after these repairs back to my homestate of california. Not even 60 days later the new drive belt they install shredded causing the vehicle to over heat. I had it then towed to the dealership in Santa Monica. In hopes it would be guranteed. Turns out when they replaced the drive belt and water pump its normally common practice to replace the tension pully at the same time. That was never even mentioned to me by fairfield in Keene. The tension pully is what caused the shredding of the drive belt and now i owe the dealership in santa monica a 290 dollar diagnostic fee, and none of the work fairfield did will be guranteed. Because they decided to skip a step, and take the easy way out. They want 1200 dollars at the buick dealership in santa monica to replace the tension pully and put a new belt on. Which comes to over 1000 dollars in labor. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the a Keene Buick Dealership service department. They take shortcuts that have ended up costing me much more money. Im paying for their incompentence. They also didnt put the piece of plastic that goes between the wheel and the engine where the drive belt is back correctly(the inside fender splash guard, and it fell off on the highway about 1000 miles into my drive back to california. Drive belts should last between 60k and 100k miles because of fairfields lack of care the one they sold me and installed lasted about 4k miles. They also offer a discount for positive reviews, and if you leave a bad review they will call you not to resolve the problem with the service, but to try and sell you on the idea of taking down your honest review. Before fairfield reaches out in a message or phone call, if they want to make it right, since im now without a car that i owe over 10k on,fairfield Keene could pay the 290 dollar diagnostic fee so i can get my vehicle off the santa monica lot and home so i can figure out what im going to do about the current state of my vehicle..letting a buick dealership service department work on my vehicle again is definetely not an option. read more

Liz Durling, my sales person, was excellent and found the exact vehicle I was looking for in NJ. They got it up here in a matter of a few days. Great experience purchasing as I went in knowing as much as I could as far as pricing and rebates and incentives. I made a fair offer and it was accepted. Managers Lou Smith and Mike Shaw we're both very helpful in finalizing the process. Everyone I dealt with at Fairfield's was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. the service dept at Fairfields are TOTAL CROOKS. brought our truck in for a recall from GM and clearly told them to just do the recall and nothing else. when we went to pick up the truck it was held hostage for a $128 diagnostic fee for the the ABS which i did not want diagnosed nor fixed. read more

I found a car I was interested in if they would take my price, and explained that I'll save myself the time and gas money as that's the highest I'm willing to go. Now sure, my offer was fairly aggressive, but it was very reasonable as I have found the same car with more options and fewer miles lists at the same price that I offered. And they agreed. The car itself was clean, except TMPS warning was going off for one tire not having some air in it. Considering that they knew well in advance I was coming to look at this specific vehicle, one would have thought this would have been taken care of. I can let that slide. However, when it came down to talk price, they would not honor the agreed upon price over the phone, and they gave me a trade estimate that is about two-thirds of what other dealers have got me, and all they're going to do if I accepted was clean the car, and put it on the lot for double of the trade value. Perhaps if they did not lie to me about the price, I could have accepted their joke of a trade offer. Or if they were willing to match 80% of what other dealers have already offered me. Other dealers I have dealt with have always honored their agreed upon price. But these guys said that wouldn't be a problem just to get me in there and hope I was uneducated and impulsive enough to do something I'd regret. Finally, they gave me a monthly payment estimate over 72 months which was more than I pay for my current vehicle over 60 with an outrageous 8.1% interest rate for the same amount financed. I figure that must be around a 15% interest rate which I am going to assume is some in house scam. My credit score is well over 800 and I qualify for 2.99% from my local bank and I simply know better, so they're not going to be taking advantage of me. Plenty of people can't turn a dollar amount into a payment however, and might not catch the fact that they're being scammed. Of all the sketchy dealers I've seen, these guys were the worst, it was just one thing after the next. So at the end of the day, they just wasted my time and gas money. Not lying to me in the first place would have saved myself the time, and saved them from a one star review. EDIT: There is no need to communicate and waste any more of my time than you already did. There is no need to reply either with some generic reply to try and cover your own shady business practices to attempt to save your reputation with less suspecting prey who fall for your scams. Now they are asking $24,995 for the same car they agreed to take $26,000 for on the phone but would not honor, telling me they owned it for $29,900 (which was far above auction value). Great business guys. For the record, I did find a car at another dealer and I did get 166% of their trade offer for my old car in the trade, and I'm pretty sure I probably could have asked for more if I really wanted to. I ran into some other sketchy dealers while I was car shopping as well, but few of them were anywhere close to as bad as Fairfields Cadillac Buick GMC. read more

What a horrible place!! First off, my car broke down and the tow truck driver recommended this place. I got there at 7am on a Tuesday. After a 4 hour wait they told me my car needed a belt and that if it was possible to leave my vehicle over night?? I own a 99 Chevy Tahoe. REALLY IS IT THAT OLD THAT YOU DONT HAVE A SERP BELT?? I was told that the belt was a "special order part" and would have to pay for it ahead of time. I paid my "rip off" diagnostic fee for my broken belt. I even told the jack ass Aric Leclair I needed a belt but he still charged me....I called a different tow company not the family member who probably works there if he could take me to the local garage. I have always purchased my vehicles from Fairfields but this last vehicle purchase as me NEVER going back. Purchased a vehicle that had a crack in windshield, no brakes, returned to service department more times then I had gotten to enjoy. Once the 30 days were up I brought to another dealership only to find out it needed 600 more dollars of work. I couldn't even get this inspected by anyone but them and even then it should not have been inspected or sold in the condition it was in. The vehicle should have been gone through a d looked at through for putting a price tag on it. All this was before my 2 payment. I will never go back and deal with poor service. They told us it had one previous owner and car fax said it had 3 and they told us that it came from an older gentleman who just wanted to upgrade. I went to look at vehicles. I was trying to get a feel for which kind it wanted. I was ready to buy whichever I liked best. The salesman was WAY too pushy and kept pushing more expensive, higher mileage vehicles then I was looking for. He completely turned me off from buying that day. He asked for my phone number I declined, so what did he do? He looked me up on Facebook and began bugging me there!!! And then apparently because I didn't learn my lesson, I went back a month later. I decided on a vehicle and wanted to work with a more local company then having to go to Nashua or Manchester. The sales person I worked with was not knowledgeable at all in what I was looking for. It's a GMC dealership, when I talk about buying a GMC they should know about that vehicle. Plus she kept taking my info wrong. That is not who I would have representing my dealership. I have purchased a vehicle here before and the experience was an absolute wonder. So naturally i decided to go back again to purchase another vehicle. I inquired about a vehicle and was told it was there and was still available for purchase. I took the 50 minute drive down to fairfield and lone an behold the vehicle was there. The dealership gave it out on a loaner. I was then shown multiple vehicles, none of which i was really interested in. They seemed more interested in running my credit than selling me a vehicle. They did run my credit of course before even attempting to get me into a vehicle. When I arrived to see the vehicle, no one even knew I was coming. Completely unprepared. Once they realized i was there they made it seem like I was an inconvenience I was there. Scott ( I believe that was his name) was tossed into the mix. He was very easy to work with. No complaints about that guy considering he just walked in the door. Just very disappointed this time around. This dealership has been horrible to deal with for service. I bought the service package with the car and I wish I had read some reviews before I did that. Now I feel like I'm stuck dealing with this place when most of the people have been dishonest and incompetent. They cannot even schedule an appointment correctly, when something that simple is beyond them, do not expect them to do service correctly either. I wanted to get an accessory installed, but in so doing, they completely broke another part of the car. I am being intentionally vague as I am still dealing with them to fix what was broken. To top it off, I experienced some blatant sexism.
